Chapter 1831: Game Realm

The clown was completely shellshocked.

He had clearly broken away from An Lin already, yet another divine sense An Lin had appeared before his eyes. Not only that, but he was also unreasonably powerful. What the hell was going on?

An Lin certainly wouldn’t provide answers to the clown’s question. The physical An Lin and divine sense An Lin pounced toward the severely wounded clown at the same time. A crushing might instantly bore down upon the clown.

So powerful!

How is this possible? How did An Lin become so powerful?!

The clown knew that his enemy possessed the powers of the Heavenly Gods. He also knew that ten percent of his own power had been suppressed due to Nuwa’s patching up of the sky. However, this difference in power was nowhere near large enough to prevent him from escaping from An Lin’s grasp.

When the clown saw An Lin charge over, the purple divine halo on his head lit up with a dazzling radiance. He had finally used his most powerful Heavenly God Technique—Game Realm!

Boom!

Heaven and earth instantly began to twist and distort.

Before the two An Lins could even react, they realized that the space around them had already become completely different.

The sky in this realm looked like it had been casually graffitied by all kinds of random colors.

As for the ground, it was densely packed with various types of childish structures.

There were castles from fairytales, dreamy treasure pagodas, and all kinds of small and exquisite houses.

Playing cards, dice, and all kinds of roulettes could be seen in this realm.

In the center of this realm, a needle indicator that radiated with a brilliant purple divine light hovered in mid-air. Right now, this razor-sharp needle was pointing at the ground.

An intriguing, fast-paced melody suddenly started playing.

“Welcome to my Game Realm. I’m the Heavenly Game God.”

The two An Lins were both momentarily dazed. Then, they continued to charge at the Heavenly Game God! They couldn’t care less about being sucked into this realm. In any case, everything would return to normal once they killed the clown on the ground!

The clown shuddered upon seeing An Lin’s reaction. He still hadn’t finished introducing himself yet!

“Game, pause!”

Seeing An Lin’s fist draw closer and closer, the clown shouted a command that sounded like a heavenly decree.

Ring…

An invisible energy wave instantly enveloped the entire Game Realm.

Space, time, particles, life… Everything was frozen to the spot.

In this Game Realm, the clown was the one and only supreme ruler who had the right to play games. If he asked for the game to be paused, then everything in this Game Realm had to become static!

The confident and exaggerated smile returned to the clown’s face as he picked himself up from the floor. “Hehehe… An Lin, so what if you’re powerful? Since you’ve entered my Game Realm, you’ve got no choice but to abide by the rules that I’ve set…”

A die suddenly materialized in the clown’s hand. “Let’s play a dice game,” he said and chuckled. “The die in my hand has six sides. In a moment, I’ll toss this die. If I toss a one, then you’ll become a fried dough twist. If I toss a two, then your body will be dislocated in one hundred locations. If I toss a three, then your entire body will decompose. If I toss a four, then your head and body will become separated. If I toss a five, then you’ll be allowed to leave this Game Realm. If I toss a six, then I’ll toss the die again.”

The clown left An Lin a very slight chance of survival.

In this Game Realm, the fairer that a game was, the more terrifying its might would become. Although the clown couldn’t ensure absolute fairness, he could still leave An Lin a very slim chance of winning. This way, if he managed to toss one of the first four numbers, then even someone as powerful as An Lin would face an existential catastrophe. In other words, An Lin would be executed by the Game Realm if the clown managed to toss one to four on the die!

“I’m tossing the die!”

The clown chuckled giddily as he held a large die in his arms. Then, he tossed the large die into the sky.

The die flew through the air.

There was an eager expression on the Heavenly Game God’s face.

All of a sudden, a large hand shot over and grabbed onto the die.

Then, following a series of cracking sounds, the die was forcibly crushed into fine particles of dust.

The clown was stupefied as he stared at the die-destroyer, An Lin. “What’s going on…? Didn’t I already pause the game?”

Splat!

An extremely sharp golden sword pierced through the clown’s head.

A tremendous soul power fluctuated through the surrounding heaven and earth.

“Game pause?” At some unknown time, the divine sense An Lin had already appeared beside the clown. He gripped his golden sword tightly and chuckled. “Weak… Unbelievably weak. Do you think a useless Heavenly God such as yourself is worthy of setting the rules of a game?”

Boom!

The physical An Lin tore through the void and instantly materialized before the clown. Then, he stabbed his hand into the clown’s chest and mercilessly crushed his heart to a pulp!

“No one can weigh me down with their own rules.

“You’re not worthy enough to force me into a game with you either.”

When An Lin was “paused”, the heavenly god power in his body instinctively activated and clashed with the clown’s heavenly game power. In this Game Realm, the Heavenly Game God’s abilities were slightly more powerful. However, this didn’t matter. Even if one heavenly god power wasn’t enough to deal with the heavenly game power, An Lin still had another three heavenly god powers that he could activate!

The clown’s heavenly game power was instantly shattered once An Lin activated all four of his heavenly god powers.

“You… You’re cheating…” The clown glared at An Lin with a look of hatred.

“Heh, you still have the cheek to say that? As the Heavenly Game God, you tossed the most important quality of fairness out the window. What right do you have to criticize me?” There was a look of disdain on An Lin’s face.

Perhaps An Lin was too powerful, or perhaps the Heavenly Game God was too weak. Anyhow, An Lin had a nagging feeling that this Heavenly God was much easier to bully now compared to before.

Bam!

The clown’s body suddenly exploded without warning.

“Player, revive!”

A system-like voice suddenly boomed through the Game Realm.

Then, the Heavenly Game God suddenly materialized beside the purple indicator needle. His body was in perfect condition, but an extremely evident crack had appeared on his divine halo. It was as though a fatal blemish had appeared on an object of perfection.

An Lin knew that this was a sign of the Heavenly Game God suffering a backlash from the Heavenly Dao due to overexerting his body.

“You want fairness? Very well! I shall give you fairness then!” There was a manic look on the clown’s face as he suddenly drew a giant playing card from the void. The clown’s image was printed on the front of the card, and an image of blue flowers was printed on the back of the card.

The clown grinned wickedly as he threw the playing card into the air.

“Absolute fairness means that my heavenly game power will unleash its full strength. In fact, it might even perform beyond its full strength! If you lose, you’ll definitely die. Now, accept your death!

“The name of this game is Death Poker. The rules are as follows. After the thrown playing card lands, if the image of the clown is facing up, then you, An Lin, will die! On the other hand, if the image of the blue flowers is facing up, then I, the Heavenly Game God, will die!”

An Lin’s expression darkened upon hearing this. “You’re the one throwing the playing card. How do I know that you’re not cheating?”

After saying this, he was about to charge over to pummel the Heavenly Game God.

At this moment, the playing card had already spun through the air and crashed back onto the ground.

The image of the blue flowers silently stared up at them.

The back of the card was lying face up!

An Lin: “…”

Heavenly Game God: “…”

Ring…

There was a supreme energy fluctuation.

An extremely devastating nomological power instantly crashed into the clown’s body.

“No!!!” The clown wailed in anguish as his body was obliterated by the boundless nomological power of the Game Realm.

An Lin felt like he had been forced to swallow his own words. Through his actions, the clown had proved that this game was indeed absolutely fair.
