An Lin felt like his wealth was increasing again. On his trip to the Spirit Realm, he had obtained huge amounts of wealth from the powerful beings of the Spirit Tribe. Adding to that his original wealth, he was once again in possession of an unimaginable sum of money.
However, treasures that lay in his storage ring weren’t technically considered as money. After all, those treasures had to be used to be considered as useful! Thereupon, he visited Emperor Ziwei and exchanged all the weapons in his storage ring for immortal swords.
After emptying the Heavenly Court’s treasure storage of all its immortal swords, An Lin traveled to the Four Great Sects and Nine Imperial Families to continue exchanging his treasures for immortal swords. In the end, all the available immortal swords in the Kingdom of the Nine States were obtained by him. That being the case, An Lin started to set his sights on the entire Tai Chu Continent.
An Lin’s frenzied purchase of immortal swords shocked numerous top echelon cultivators of the Tai Chu Continent.
The first-rate organizations who were allied with the humans all gave An Lin a hand and cooperated with his immortal sword exchanges. After hearing of the news, even the West Sea’s Lan Xiaoni acted on behalf of the West Sea Alliance and gifted An Lin five immortal swords.
Of course, An Lin couldn’t accept these for nothing. Thus, he returned a gift of five immortal tools that were of equal value. These items were all exquisitely beautiful and dazzling in appearance.
Lan Xiaoni had initially wanted to turn down An Lin’s gift. Upon seeing the appearance of the five immortal tools, however, she instantly changed her mind. There was nothing she could do about this. After all, those five immortal tools were truly too beautiful!
She liked this style of immortal tools immensely.
“As expected, Big Boss An Lin knows me so well…
“He definitely took great care and selected these items just for me.
“Xiaoni has accepted your gesture of kindness…”
Lan Xiaoni’s beautiful face was flushed red, and she quietly whispered to herself as she lovingly fondled the immortal tools in her hands.
…
Half a month later…
Within the Four Nine Immortal Sect’s conference chamber…
An Lin laughed heartily as he gazed at the mountain of immortal swords before him.
“The immortal swords of this world are all in my possession now!”
Before him, three hundred and sixty immortal swords dazzled with brilliant colors. In fact, the energy fluctuation caused by the gathered auras of the swords even caused the surrounding space to become twisted and distorted.
Sun Yuluo—who had come from the Heavenly Sword Sect—almost kneeled down to An Lin upon seeing the massive pile of immortal swords. “Holy Mother of God… There are more immortal swords here than I’ve seen in my entire life!”
“Such a blinding radiance! I’m going blind! Ah! My dog eyes are about to be blinded, woof!” Da Bai covered his eyes as he let loose cries of surprise.
“Why are you going blind? This radiance clearly isn’t that dazzling.” Su Qianyun blinked her beautiful eyes in confusion.
Xiao Chou covered his eyes and said, “What Da Bai meant was, Big Brother An’s insane wealth is far too dazzling!”
Even Xu Xiaolan was stunned by the sight before her. “Each immortal sword is worth a few million spirit stones, perhaps even tens of millions of spirit stones. This many immortal swords… Did you exchange your entire fortune for these immortal swords?”
“Most certainly not. I haven’t even exchanged all of my random treasures yet, let alone use a single spirit stone or pill. However, the entire Tai Chu Continent has already run out of stock. I’m also feeling extremely distressed…” A look of frustration appeared on An Lin’s face.
“Gasp…”
Everyone sucked in a sharp breath.
He still hasn’t exchanged all of his random treasures, yet he’s already obtained all of the immortal swords in the entire Tai Chu Continent?!
“Ahhh! I’m going blind! My eyes!” Su Qianyun started wailing in grief.
Da Bai: “…”

Of course, saying that An Lin had obtained all the immortal swords in the Tai Chu Continent was an exaggeration. After all, other supreme beings and super-mighty beings still needed to use immortal swords themselves. Sword cultivators wouldn’t go as far as to exchange their own personal swords for hammers or other random weapons, would they? An Lin had only obtained the immortal swords that weren’t currently owned or in use. Even so, this was still an incredibly astonishing feat.
“Master, why are you collecting so many immortal swords?” Merlin asked curiously.
“I have an idea in mind… This is going to become my strongest tycoon attack…” An Lin’s eyes glimmered with an eager expression.
Bai Ling lightly tapped at a hologram screen. Then, she said in an aloof voice, “Okay, we’ve completed the first agenda of our meeting now—the ‘observe as our sect leader flaunts his wealth’ agenda. Let’s move onto the second agenda now.”
An Lin reluctantly put his immortal swords away and looked toward the hologram that was displayed in the center of the conference chamber.
Displayed on the screen was a boundless expanse of ocean.
In the center of the ocean, there was a gigantic pitch-black hole that looked as if it desired to swallow anything that neared it. All the ocean currents that flowed past it swirled into a vortex before eventually descending into the hole.
Directly above the ocean, there was an immensely majestic projection that was composed of countless orbs of blue light.
Its head towered into the sky, and its feet trod upon the sea. Its face was blurry and hard to make out, yet from the shape of its figure, its humanoid outline was vaguely discernible.
“This is an image sent over by the West Sea Alliance. The location of this unexpected phenomenon is none there than where the Spirit Fish Clan and Heavenly Turtle Tribe’s previous High Priest and High Priestess are buried…” Bai Ling looked toward An Lin meaningfully.
An Lin fell deep into thought as he recalled the tomb that he and Lan Xiaoni had entered, as well as the alien realm that they had mysteriously stumbled into.
“Not long ago, a Heavenly God appeared in the West Sea for the very first time,” Merlin said in a grave voice. “This Heavenly God, the Heavenly Liquid God, fought an intense battle with Alliance Leader Lan Xiaoni. Neither side emerged victoriously, but both sides were heavily wounded. And now, this pitch-black hole has appeared in the depths of the West Sea… Could it be that another Heavenly God is about to appear?”
“I’m afraid that this isn’t an ordinary Heavenly God, but rather one of the six paramount Heavenly Gods—the Heavenly Sea God,” An Lin said. “I saw this paramount Heavenly God back when I was completing the trials in the tomb…”
Everyone fell silent upon hearing this. The atmosphere in the conference chamber also started to become heavy.
Evidently, the others had also become aware of this possibility.
Thinking back to the past, An Lin had lied to the supreme beings of the Spirit Fish Clan and Heavenly Turtle Tribe by claiming that he was the Heavenly Lightning God. He had claimed to be acting on behalf of the heavens and said that the heavens’ desire was to rejuvenate the human tribe…
Now, however, it was likely that many supreme beings had discovered that they had been lied to.
After all, he wasn’t merely the Heavenly Lightning God. He was also the Heavenly Wind God, Heavenly Mountain God, Heavenly Metal God, and Heavenly Fire God… How could a simple title of Heavenly Lightning God explain his outlandish powers?
However, it was already too late for them to regret their decisions. The West Sea Alliance had killed countless Heavenly Humans already, and they were now on the same boat as An Lin and the allied human forces. Regardless of whether An Lin was the Heavenly Lightning God or Heaven F*cking God, all they could do was put all their eggs into his basket.
“Up until now, the West Sea Alliance has already sent five scout teams to investigate the hole in the sea. However, not a single one of the dispatched powerful beings managed to return.” Bai Ling paused for a moment before continuing, “Moreover, all forms of contact were lost after the scout teams entered that hole. Thus, it’s clear that an extremely powerful energy field, one that’s capable of blocking out everything, exists there.”
An Lin stretched lazily. Then, he chuckled and said, “Forget about it. I’m quite familiar with that place, so I may as well go and investigate it myself.”
“Sect Leader An Lin always like to take initiative and resolve things by himself.” Long Aotian sighed with emotion. “Who knows if this habit is a good or bad one…”
“An Lin likes to fight, and there’s nothing that we can do about it.” Xu Xiaolan rolled her eyes and huffed. “He’s grown considerably more powerful recently, yet there’s not even a suitable opponent for him to practice his techniques on. Thus, he’s actively looking for powerful enemies now…”
“Xiaolan understands me best!” An Lin said cheerfully.
Afterward, they discussed the recent state of affairs, the movements of the Heavenly Human Tribe, and the development of the sect. After discussing these matters, the meeting concluded.
An Lin and Xu Xiaolan walked out of the sect.
“Do you really need to be in such a hurry? Do you need my help? This trip is going to be very dangerous, am I right?” Xu Xiaolan suddenly turned toward the male beside her and asked these questions in a soft and gentle voice.
“We don’t have much time…” An Lin sighed. “Xiaolan, stay behind at the Four Nine Immortal Sect to guard against any sudden incidents. I’ll be able to deal with those matters by myself. Perhaps the Heavenly Sea God still hasn’t broken its seal yet. This is my best opportunity, and I can’t let it slip…”
Rip!
A spatial fissure was torn open.
An Lin stepped into the spatial fissure and disappeared from this expanse of heaven and earth.
