Muell had believed that humans were inherently weak and frail. However, Park Noah was excluded from the proposition. She was Park Noah, after all.
“Noah told you not to be discovered… but now you’ve already been caught by two.” The child mumbled to himself, worry expressed on his face. You’re Noah’s favorite, so how do you deal with that stalker?
Meanwhile, Adrian felt an unusual threat to his life. The black threads of mana, wrapped around his ankles, gradually began to ascend to his legs. He glanced at the bed and found Park Noah still asleep. She would never dream that her pet was planning on killing a man without even realizing it, he thought.
“Well, you know.”
Fortunately for the blond man, the curious young dragon decided to address the lingering mysteries in his mind first before contemplating on the necessary measures to take on him.
“Can I ask you what you were doing now?” Muell asked, tilting his head.
“You’ve seen it all, but you pretend you don’t know.”
“Yes, I mean, I’m asking because I’ve seen everything but don’t know what you’re doing.” The boy faintly scoffed, folding his arms.
Adrian then realized that the child was indeed clueless. Huh. You still don’t know what sexual contact means between a woman and a man.
“It’s a way of expressing intimacy among humans. Kissing, embracing.”
“Kissing? Why?”
“Because I like it. It’s one of the ways to love the opposite s*x.”
“What if the other person doesn’t like it?”
“Then, a slap on the cheek.”
The innocent Muell, of course, did not understand the words. “You’re gonna get hit anyway. Why would you kiss her?”
“I mean…”
It was a different voice that answered the child’s query. Adrian looked back in surprise and saw Park Noah awake, staring at him. She moistened her chapped lips and answered, “I mean, that’s… You bastard. You taught the child something really good.”
“I think you’ve made it worse. I was in the middle of a happy dream…”
Adrian’s face crumpled in displeasure. Do you call Kyle Leonard a happy dream? He thought bitterly. But of course, Adrian was oblivious that she had dreamed of a fantasy that Kyle Leonard was a dedicated butler who would take care of everything.
Park Noah struggled to raise her body and asked sharply, “Since when did you know? That Mu is a dragon.”
“I thought you were sleeping, but you must have been listening.”
“How could I, uh, not? My heart is now on the verge of exploding because of you!” It was an exaggeration, but she was sweating profusely. Muell jumped off the chair and ran to the bed. He grabbed a pill, a potion, and a cup of water on a small table beside and handed them to her.
Park Noah managed to swallow the medicine. At first glance, Adrian perceived the pill was for colds and the potion was a sedative.
Adrian furrowed his brows and murmured, “Silver… Mana tranquilizer.”
“Reply. Since when did you know?”
“Why should you take a sedative? If you’ve imprinted with a dragon, you should be able to fill your body with mana and bring your condition up to the top.”
“…..”
Park Noah merely glared at him and stopped asking questions, and after a few seconds of assessing, Adrian then came to a conclusion. “The imprint isn’t complete, is it?”
As soon as the words fell out of his mouth, Park Noah heaved a deep sigh and muttered indistinctly. To Adrian, it sounded like: “God, why do all the humans here seem to be ghosts.”
He grinned and sat on the edge of the bed. “So, you can’t even use magic properly. You can’t handle the mana and you’re soaked in sweat.”
The woman took a deep breath and snapped back, “So, what are you going to do with me?”
“What, what?”
“You’ve been following me around all the time. Whether I really lost my memory or if Mu is really a dragon, you must want something.”
“Will you listen if I tell you?”
“Are you crazy?” She spat, staring at him in utter disbelief. Then, she nudged Muell’s shoulders and ordered.
“Mu, get him out of here. And keep him out of this room again!”
