Adrian’s POV:

 So days went by as usual. Alice and I got closer as siblings and she was able to open up to me as how sad and lonely she was after the passing of her mother since her father like mine worked at the military.

 

She was happy to find someone close to herself who she could call family. With this we got along well, she wanted to learn too like me but I told her to wait for a few months so that she could turn 5 as was the norm, she wasn’t that happy but accepted it, I mean I started learning at 3 but I had my previous life’s memory but Alice didn’t as compromise I often read her stories.

 

So days went by like this, I was happy to have a younger sister and she was happy to have an older brother.

 

General POV:

Like that 2 years went by, Alice started learning and Adrian who was now 7 could now defeat his swordsmanship instructor and has become quite skilled, he could now defeat 20 soldiers at once(of the Duchy’s soldiers and though they weren’t Swordsmasters they were quite skilled), his master told him that he has now become a Swordsmaster himself and may even be able to be a Swordsaint later, there is a current Swordsaint in the country her name is Arelia Green, she is a commoner by birth and got her title due to her skills, she was mentioned in the game by name only and that the protagonist’s skills interested her but never really made an appearance so Adrian never know what she looked like , though he really wanted to fight her someday.

As for magic, he had learned everything possible and was now recommended that he write a thesis with him on light magic, which Adrian agreed as he thought it will help him learn more. He also experimented with magic and created stuff that was previously not thought possible, and his incredible magic control made it all possible, so he created swords made of light, fire and lighting and used them in fighting with great success, he could also create light shields which could only be possible with high magic users as it required more magic power than most mages. As for his other theoretical studies they were completed.

 

Then his father brought home an etiquette teacher as he thought it was time for him to learn, so he did that class with his sister.

 

One day Adrian went out to take a look around the territory near his house, it was a town decent enough. He never really ventured out of his house often and mostly concentrated on his education, if he needed something the maids would bring it for him, but today he wanted to go out and get some fresh air. He enjoyed the fresh air and took a look around, there were some vassals of the duchy who greeted him and he saw several people were gathered at the marketplace.

 

Then he heard arguing and a loud noise. He turned to look at saw a guy on the floor in front of a house with 4 thugs surrounding him. They said, “Hey we have waited for a long time, pay up now or take you stuff and leave this place”. These were stuff like books, tables etc. scattered around and it was obvious those were scattered by those goons.

 

The guy pleaded with his hands folded, “Please just give me one more week and I will pay you your money”. But the goons answered by kicking him. Adrian’s guards told, “Sir let’s leave this place is dangerous” and he was about to leave but then he saw the guy’s face and he gasped. He smirked and thought to himself, “Today must be my lucky day, if this goes well things would be much easier.
