The single person Aurora wanted to see the most was the person she had heard about ever since she could understand words. She wanted to meet the one who gave her life, her status, her strength, and her bloodline. She wanted to meet the one who held a divine throne above the stars - one of the most powerful gods of this world, the Dragon God Louie Galakrond.
After hearing Alexia’s words, the first thing that came to Aurora’s name was that sacred and supreme existence.
The name of a god could not be spoken easily as this was blasphemy. Even Aurora would only say the name in her heart and not recite it out loud. She had imagined seeing her Father God’s appearance many times and even thought that she might never see her Father God in her entire life.
Gods were beings that did not easily appear before mortals. Although there were many gods in the world, there were only a few records of humans meeting with them. Even if a God appeared in front of people, they would not be able to easily recognize them.
Even if Aurora was the daughter of the Dragon God, she had never seen her Father God in her twenty years of life. Sometimes, Aurora wondered if she had been abandoned by him.
This was not something unbelievable. The parent-child sentiment of humans did not exist among deities. No one could understand a god’s thoughts nor would anyone dare imagine what they were thinking. This was because imagining so could bring endless disaster.
So Aurora never imagined that she would one day be able to actually see her Father God with her own eyes.
She sometimes thought that perhaps she would only have the honor of seeing her father after becoming a demigod. Perhaps in the eyes of the Gods, a daughter was no different from other believers.
She did not think about what her Father God looked like. Gods had an ever-changing appearance with no fixed form. As for their true bodies, even other gods would not be able to see them no matter how intimate they were.
In the midst of uncertainty, Aurora followed Alexia in a muddle-headed manner as they left the glorious hall.
Alexia looked like a small child from the outside, but Aurora would never treat her as immature. Nonetheless, as she followed Alexia, she saw her walking with a happy skip in her step. It was as if the other party had suddenly returned to childhood.
Was she happy that she was about to meet their Father God?
No, Aurora felt that Alexia would not be so superficial. From Aurora’s voice, she could feel that Alexia was more fond of her Father God.
“I like the luscious, opulent hall, but I like this beautiful garden full of spring colors and beautiful flowers even more.”
Alexia suddenly stopped in her tracks. She looked back and took a slightly deeper look at Aurora before continuing on again.
That was right, Aurora’s sister, Her Highness Alexia was not only a dragon but also an elf. It was understandable why she would like this kind of natural beauty.
Aurora did not make a sound. She did not know what to say to Alexia. Although Dragon City palace was where her bloodline originated and also her other home, she felt a strange sense of loneliness the more she walked there.
Somehow, she remembered the ‘Mr. Ramses’ that she had met when she came to Dragon City. She wondered when she would see that gentleman again.
While distracted, Aurora unconsciously smiled.
The next moment she turned towards a clearing in the center of the garden. And somehow, sitting on an ornate jade throne was the very same ‘Mr. Ramses’ she had been thinking about. Numerous elven maidens knelt on the ground and served him excitedly.
‘Why is Mr. Ramses here?’ Aurora asked herself, but then the next moment her mouth gaped in astonishment.
This was the palace of Dragon City. The back garden of the palace was equivalent to the harem of the palace. No nobleman could come in and have so many elves wait on him.
Then Aurora suddenly thought of something. When ‘Mr. Rameses’ turned his gentle gaze towards her and smiled, her face turned incredibly pale, and her body began to tremble uncontrollably.
