"There's no cause for concern."
Few family members—no, no one in this entire world—would be as trustworthy to have by her side as Vegan Pulvis.
Quinn turned the metal doorknob and walked in with eyes glistening with passion.

…
Simply defined, Vegan, the Bocon Group's CEO, and chairman was a success story.
Vegan Pulvis was unique. Some might wonder what kind of challenges someone born into a wealthy family like him would've had to face.
He took over as the organization's leader at the young age of 31 after using all measures necessary to violently remove his maternal uncle from power after the group was upset by the economic crisis.
Since then, he has crushed opposition and rumors while strengthening the Bocon Group through his charismatic leadership.
Everyone was aware that Bocon would not have been able to build its reputation as an empire without Vegan Pulvis.
With annual sales of over 500 billion dollars and an operating profit of over 100 trillion won, Bocon has now developed into a hyper-conglomerate.
Because of this, a useless girl like Quinn Pulvis may throw money away.
The fact that he had accomplished such legendary feats held even if this occurred in the story. And maybe most significantly, Vegan Pulvis was no longer a made-up personality.
(He's real.)
The moment Quinn stepped through the doorway and entered Vegan's office, she felt like she was completely isolated from the outside world.
Even the aroma is distinctive.
Was it the abundance of books that gave her father's workplace the appearance of a library or his face's fierce malice?
Her nose tingled at the smell of ancient paper. The next thing she noticed was Vegan sitting in front of a long window that mirrored the sun and was intently observing her.
He was very little. His presence, however, did not correspond to his appearance.
Quinn had the impression that Vegan was present in every area of his workspace the instant he walked in. It appeared as though a large beast was curled up in the tiny office.
Her heart was beating like a drum, and her breath was racing like waterfall water.
"Settle down. Nothing to be concerned about."
Quinn caught her breath without even seeing the icy sweat trickling down her back.
She questioned, "How am I even able to sweat on my back?"
"My baby girl, five years have passed."
Vegan were the first to break the ice.
Quinn was fifteen years old when Vegan Pulvis gave her the order to go independent. At age twenty, she had never even visited her home before. However, she has just unexpectedly arrived to see Vegan Pulvis.
She pondered whether, in light of their past interactions, she ought to be grateful that Vegan Pulvis talked first.
Shaking her head, Quinn looked into Vegan Pulvis's eyes. She was able to decipher Vegan's emotions with some effort because she has been perceptive since she was a young child.
(Father's affection, curiosity, fury) she thought.
Fortunately, things weren't as bad as she had anticipated.
Vegan's curiosity indicated that she was slightly interested, yet her wrath had two possible interpretations.
One was dissatisfaction with his daughter, a troublemaker who caused problems after growing independent, and the father's love meant he still loves his daughter despite how useless and wasteful she had become.

(Or perhaps he felt melancholy for his daughter who hadn't appeared in a while; either way, it was OK. Actually, Vegan had never given up on his daughter, even though she had caused him a lot of grief right up until the end of the novel.) She gave it further in-depth thinking.
"Considering the usual plot, it appeared out of the ordinary."
In actuality, there were numerous plot holes in the novel [The Regressor] that Daemon had woken up in as a woman.
Despite the problems with the setting and plot, Daemon had been able to finish the first section of the book because it had been entertaining.
(Thank goodness, this wouldn't be a typical novel story.
Quinn Pulvis was pleased that she had been able to complete the book as she stood in front of vegan Pulvis from the book.
Based on that knowledge, all she had to do was carefully consider her statements.
Vegan kept talking as Quinn Pulvis sat in the comfortable long chair and carefully considered.
Without Vegan's consent, disrespectfully occupying the seat was an offense that may result in the other siblings being immediately deposed from their family's position and Inheritance
He disregarded it, however, and waved Quinn's way.
"Baby girl, I doubt money is the issue given how freely you spend money. Since you don't accomplish anything that would necessitate talented staff, you won't need any. Perhaps you came here to gain honor, then.
(Heh?, He asked, or was he just talking to himself?)
Quinn decided to get straight to the point after hearing Vegan's cryptic remarks: they were playing tiki-taka, and he was now ready to play a penalty.
"Father, I came here to ask you a favor.”
"I knew my baby girl wouldn't come here only to talk to her father, it will be uninteresting," she said.
Vegan quickly made a tongue click and nodded. He was the only one who truly understood that his kids wouldn't come to see him unless they needed a favor.
"Father, I'm considering assisting you with the business," Quinn crossed her legs elegantly and her gaze grew serious.
A curve was used in the second pitch. Will vegan's response would be similar to the Brent siblings' if she were to tell her father she was here to mend their relationship?
Getting to know him at work would surely strengthen their relationship.
Even though they are only forty-five minutes away, they haven't spoken in five years.
Out of sight, out of memory was a saying that was undoubtedly accurate, and the opposite was also true.
"What? That's absurd. What do you actually desire?"
"This… is everything", truly. Quinn's gaze grew serious.
Of the two emotions, curiosity gradually waned in Vegan's eyes. Instead, the remaining area was filled with rage.
Was there any way to make Vegan feel an overzealous need to protect her?
"You ought to pick your next pitch carefully," he advised as his eyes grew intense as well.
Quinn swallowed her saliva and selected her finest pitch from the list of possibilities she had prepared, feeling the chill of the frigid environment in her spine.
(This is my chance)
Her eyes turned from intense to malicious as she said, "Father, I really want everything that this family has, and anything or anybody who wants what I want, even if it's my siblings, they will have to pass through me."
