Chapter 37: Chapter 37 – That was very destructive.

"What's that?" Maine said as she looked at me. Now her hand had started to shake. I could see that her face was getting a little pale. This showed how scared she was.

Taking advantage of this situation, I tried to hit them with my ice magic. Unfortunately, they managed to avoid my magic. Then Maine ran towards me again. She was fast.

I started to avoid her attacks as she tried to pierce me and cut me with her dagger. I am sure this is have been very cool for anyone watching, but it was very unpleasant for me.

I  felt her dagger pass very close to my skin.

"Get away from me." Tired of receiving her attacks, I created a shield in front of me. Maine hit my shield and broke it, throwing a large amount of dirt in my direction. I had to close my eyes for a moment, so I became distracted.

When I opened my eyes again, I could see a smile; she was confident that she would hit me. However, I created an ice shield around my arm and stopped her dagger. I confess that I thought she would tear my arm off.

And after her dagger was stuck, I grabbed her arm. I swung her and hit her body on the ground. I could hear her moaning in pain, and the floor was cracked from the violence of the impact.

'I think I put too much strenght. Oops!' As I watched Maine get up, I could notice that Julia had finally started to make her first movements. She noticed that Maine was at a disadvantage.

Small dark balls were created in her two hands, and the two balls flew toward me.

"That's dangerous!" I ran, but the balls continued to chase me as if they were missiles. So, I used my magic and hit them with big earth balls. I thought the small dark balls would be destroyed when I hit them, but that didn't happen.

As soon as my magic collided with hers, it swallowed up my magic, and the dark ball increased in size.

"Hey, that's really dangerous!" I kept running and noticed that Maine was already behind me again. She looked even more excited and angry now. She had a dagger in each hand this time.

"Maine, what is that thing? Am I going to be killed if I get swallowed by it?" I asked, but of course, she didn't answer.

"Damn it!" I tried to hit the balls with another magic, but it swallowed my magic. Okay, what is this magic? If I can use all the elements, I should be able to do something like that. But I don't know the name of this magic...

"Don't get in my way!" I threw a cold mist in Maine's direction, freezing her body. I didn't even know how I did it, but it helped. She couldn't get in my way now.

"Wouldn't it be easier just to attack Julia?" I turned around and started running toward Julia. She realized this, so she began to make her attacks. This time, above her head, large dark spears appeared.

The magic flew towards me at high speed. It was a little difficult to avoid them without losing control of my steps and falling to the ground. I looked back, and those same dark balls were very close by.

"WILL THEY NEVER DISAPPEAR?!" I quickly got up, threw ice spears, and created flame explosions at Julia. However, my attacks were all avoided by a dome-like shield that appeared around her body.

"Thanks for that!" Copying her protection, I created the dome around my body. It was easier than I expected. It was as if this magic had been implemented in my head when I saw it.

I stopped running and noticed Maine approaching me again. My ice magic didn't hold her for long. Confident, I stood still. Maine then slammed her daggers against my protection, but she couldn't break my magic.

She started to make several attacks with her daggers, but my protection was not being deactivated. Julia, in the distance, began to use dark magic attacks. Probably her only magic element is this.

All their attacks were being repulsed. I gave a satisfied smile at this. This shows that I can replicate spells even more powerfully. That is amazing.

"But what matters is this thing." The two dark balls were getting closer. Maine seeing this, backed away. However, Julia continued to make attacks, feeding the dark balls even more magic.

They increased in size, now the size of a beach ball.

I noticed that one shield was insufficient, so I created two more shields. Then the two balls crashed into the first shield. In the distance, I could see Maine smiling as the balls sucked my first shield away.

"What kind of magic is that?!" I shouted. So I created another shield, but this time was trying to do something new that the two probably never thought possible.

I created a shield with the same functionality as that dark ball. Yes, as I imagined, I could replicate this magic with ease. I just needed a little effort.

Then I created an even darker shield. I couldn't see anything outside, and I'm sure the two couldn't see anything happening inside.

I felt my body tremble for an instant just after the balls hit the shield. It was a booming sound. It was like a tornado passing over me.

It continued for some time until finally, the sound stopped. I wasn't hurt, and my protection was even bigger. I had probably sucked up all his magic. I gave a smile and then undid my magic.

However, when I did, I noticed how destructive everything had been.
