Chapter 9: Chapter 9 – Learning Geography!

After taking a shower and changing my clothes, I felt much better. I was feeling clean and beautiful now.

But even though it was a very nice and refreshing shower, I saw something that brought me back to the reality that I am living: The tattoo on my thigh with that list of goals I had to accomplish.

I had forgotten about it.

"Things I'm supposed to do in place of the heroine." I wonder where the heroine is. Is she dead? Or maybe she is a lazy girl who has given up on her goals? No, I think the first option is the correct one.

"All right, what's the easiest goal on this list?" I took off my pants and looked at my left thigh. I analyzed and thought about how to accomplish each of those goals, and the conclusion I came to was...

They were all equally challenging.

Perhaps the most difficult is to kill the Demon King. [ Demon King] is the title of someone very powerful; he was probably stronger than the dragons. That would be my biggest challenge.

"No, this is not the time to think about that! I need to decide which mission to do!" I looked some more at my thigh and decided to do the first thing on the list.

"Okay. Could you tell me what you are looking for?" The man had already taken the map from under the counter and handed it to me. He is quick at his job.

"I want a book that tells about the sleeping dragon of the elven realm, the great dragon of the demon realm and the demon king." I raised my indicated finger as if I were an intellectual person.

The old man looked at me for a while and then asked me to follow.

We went up to the library's second floor and walked down a few corridors until we reached the session on monsters and legends. The man rummaged through the bookshelf, pulled out two books, and handed them to me.

"This book tells you about the dragon of the elven realm, and this other book explains everything you need to know about the demon realm, including the dragon and the demon king. Do you need anything else?"

"No, thank you." The old man nodded and went downstairs. I then went to one of the reading tables on the second floor. I sat down very close to the window, as the wind was quite pleasant.

So, after I sat down, I opened the first book. It was not just about the dragon, as the old man had said, but about the whole elven realm. There was an entire realm of just elves.

Elves and dark elves. The two races lived at war regularly.

"So it's a whole realm divided between the two races?" I opened the map on the table and looked for the elven realm. The whole map was just one continent. I didn't know if there were others; I'll look for that later.

The continent was divided into four realms.

The human realm, where I was, was called "Humant", a very suggestive name.

The realm of the elves is called "Elflein", another very suggestive name.

The realm of people with animal ears (which I already felt like visiting after imagining myself stroking the ear of a cat woman) is called "Animalein".

Just suggestive names...

And last but not least: The demon realm called "Abyss".

"Now, that is a worthy name." I shook my head as I looked at the demon territory. Speaking of territories, I was on the opposite side of the demon realm.

They were on the left end of the continent, and I was on the right. In the centre of the continent were the elven and beastmen realms. In addition, there was also a big river that flowed through most of the centre of the continent.

And around the continent, it was all water. Probably the sea.

Talking about the continent, it had a very coherent name, and it was called "Humanity".
