The door opened and there was Lin, leaning on the door frame.

We went out of the cell to get to the main desk to take her bag. On the way, Asami stopped us.

"Hey Nya, can I borrow him for a second?"

"He's all yours. I'll go take my bag."

Nya left and I was left with her.

"Look, Asami, I'm sorry I'm not a good person, I might seem like one but I'm not, I..."

BANG!

She hit me square in the jaw! I lost my balance for a second and that's saying something, I know how to take a punch! I was expecting her to yell at me, to look at me like I'm garbage, to curse me, but never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine that she would hit me.

"Look Asami, if you want to blow off steam, I don't mind if you punch me again if you want..."

She hugged me before I finished what I was saying. All of the witty remarks, all of the wise full advice, all of them left me like they were never there. I didn't know what to say for the second time in this life.
