"Vasati, you did not seriously take a B-Rank Mission for us," I said laughing.
"I took the first request I saw on the board Eira!" Vasati responded feeling dejected.
Vasati and I had taken a look at the quest that we nabbed from the board earlier, which was a serious one. We had to guard some Elven nobles while passing through the country of Warminster.
Sadly, I know what we will be protecting them from.
"Humans I'm guessing," Vasati said frowning.
"Yup. Warminster is a Town populated by Humans and Elvin slaves. I don't understand why Nobles from the Royal Elvin family are choosing to pass through there." I questioned.
"Yeah, in retrospect It should be the last place any Elvin should want to go." Vasati agreed.
"But doesn't the Royal Elvin family already have guards?" I commented.
"That's also a good point Eira. Why are they requesting random adventures over their own Royal Guards?" Vasati Questioned.
"Unless It's a trap," I said abruptly.
"The scroll says for us to Guard them while they're in Warminster. So, the quest would start inside of the city." I said pointing at it in writing.
"So that they can capture whatever Demon that goes into the city and do who knows what with them." Vasati interrupted.
"So, what do you want to do? As the First princess of the Demonshire family, you should report this to your father." I commented sitting down on my bed.
"No. We are going to make them pay for this Eira." Vasati said with the most wicked scorn I had ever seen from her before.
"Sounds good princess. I'm In" I said reaching my hand out to her.
"Let's do this Eira!" Vasati exclaimed high fiving me.
"You two are ridiculous." I heard another voice from outside scorn.
Looking out the window directly behind me I saw a peering gaze of golden-covered eyes illuminating the darkness. Immediately, I casted barrier magic around the entire dorm to ensure they couldn't escape, and Vasati turned the light off in the room and slipped into a shadow. I teleported outside onto the Dorm Rooftop and searched for a magic signature.
Every Living thing lets off a magic signature which is why concealing it is something skilled assassins will do. Because I am a vampire it doesn't matter to me though. I can smell the magical power through someone's blood and track it. Sure, enough after searching for about 30 seconds I found it. Right behind me, meaning they were in my shadow.
"Ice Magic: Blistering Cold!" I shouted.
The entire building started to freeze, and in all the areas capsuled within my barrier magic, Heavy snowfall began. Finally, the being jumped out of my shadow and created some distance between us, but I chased them to the edge of the rooftop. Once they reached the edge and I thought u cornered them I drew a sword made from physical ice mana. I then made a forward thrust aimed at her heart.
They realized this and the figure leaped into the air, but I already knew someone would be ready to meet her there.
"Vasati!" I shouted.
Out of nowhere Vasati emerged from the dark and kicked the figure back down to the rooftop with a loud thud. Vasati then landed on the rooftop next to me.
"Did you cast the soundproofing magic Vasati?" I asked coating strong frost magic into my sword.
"Y-Y-Y-Y-Yeah... A-A-Also Eira C-Can you S-S-Stop this B-B-Blizard" Vasati stuttered out shivering.
She was still wearing the summer academy uniform, so I understand why the cold bothers her. To me, I feel nothing really because I never feel cold at all.
"Just use flame mana to heat your body," I said blankly.
"Oh Yeah," Vasati replied scratching the top of her head.
"You two are strong, but you're just naïve kids. If you go out on that mission, you'll be finished for sure." The hooded figure said starting to stand up again.
"Yeah, how about you sit back down," I said flexing my fingers.
"Ice Chains" I shouted and wrapped the hooded figure in chains of Ice.
As I slowly walked up to her, she struggled to escape but came to no avail.
"Now let's find out who you are!" I said as pulled the hood off of her and it was the blonde-haired Dragonoid girl that I had met in the past. Instead of her Violet colored right eye and her pink-colored left eye, both of her eyes were golden and so was her short and straight hair.
"Huh," Vasati said blankly.
"How.Dare.You...." She mumbled as she started to channel a large amount of mana around her.
"Eira! Watch out!" Vasati shouted as she ran towards me.
"Ok," I said coldly as I stabbed her through her gut with my ice sword, halting whatever attack she was planning.
She coughed out a large amount of blood and which landed on my face.
"You Bitch" She croaked.
"Relax. It's not like this will kill you." I said as I pulled out the sword and licked the blade's blood.
"Ei-ra?" Vasati stuttered.
"Now who are you and what do you want?" I said coldly.
"Wow... You are as cunning as they say you are. No wonder the royal family is worried about an 8-year-old girl." She said smirking.
"Tell me about it." I rolled my eyes and snapped my fingers creating an ice spike that emerged from the ground that went right through her left leg.
"Aughhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" She cried out in pain.
"Every time you speak without answering my question you will be impaled in another one of your limbs. Your right leg is next." I said flicking my long silver twin tails over my shoulder.
"Rina." She said biting her lips.
"Your employer?" I questioned.
"There is none." She said coughing up more blood.
"Really?" I said preparing to snap my fingers again, but a force grabbed my hand before I could.
"Eira that's enough," Vasati said firmly.
"Fine," I said as I released the ice chains on her and cast healing magic on her.
"So why are you spying on us" Vasati questioned.
"You told your friend to release me and heal me? Aren't you worried I might kill you?" Rina asked grinning.
"You're not a threat. I'm not as lenient as Eira is. If you do anything I will not hesitate to kill you" Vasati said darkly and suddenly I felt so much pressure that I struggled to stand up.
It was my first-time feeling Vasati's full power and immediately I knew I was outclassed by her. Just her Mana alone created an amount of pressure that made it hard to breathe. I had to reinforce myself with Magic power to stand up.
"So you're both monsters. A nine-year-old girl whose magical output has truly crossed into the second stage of the heavenly realm and an eight-year-old girl who has reached the first stage of the heavenly realm. 6 years maybe you two will be the first-ever demons to step into the land of the Gods" Rina said grimly.
"Why were you spying on us?" Vasati coldly glared.
"Because I can't but help to think that you are making a bad decision going into the United Kingdom of Warminster," Rina said as she shrugged.
"While you two are strong enough. You're far too naïve. Like you Eira, you didn't have any idea what I was capable of, yet you didn't aim to kill."
"Well, that's because I saved you before-" I tried to respond, but she cut me off.
"And. All you needed to know is that I could kill you, yet you aimed for my stomach instead of my head or heart." She commented before turning to Vasati.
Vasati, you let your vampire friend release me, but you didn't know that I could do this!" She shouted and before I knew it my vision was blurry, and it all went dark.

When I woke up, I was back in the dorm in my bed and Vasati slept next to me in her pajamas. When I looked down at my body I was too.
"What happened..." I said groaning as I sat up in the bed.

Suddenly looking over to the bathroom the light was on, and I heard the water running in there.
"Vasati. Wake up" I whispered to Vasati while nudging her in the side with my elbow.
"Eira~" Vasati yawned with her eyes half open.
The bathroom door finally opened, and it was Rina stripped of her cloak and now wearing a towel. For some reason this caused me to breathe a sigh of relief.
"Hey, you guys finally woke up" She smiled.
"What do you want" I groaned.
"Seriously this is getting annoying" Vasati echoed.
"Huh. Aren't you both going to try to kill me or something?" Rina asked with a questioning look.
"You could've killed the both of us last night after you did whatever that was to put us to sleep," Vasati commented lazily.
"I still don't trust you, but I don't see you as a threat right now," I said.
"Well during the day, I can't even do anything anyways..." Rina said looking at the floor.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked attempting to get up from the bed, but Vasati pulled me back down.
"Ahhhhhhhh... Eira your body is so cold. It's perfect for this hot summer weather." Vasati said snuggling up with me.
"My powers were sealed by humans two years ago. The only time I have enough strength to break through the seals and use my Dragon powers is at night." She said sighing.
"What kind of seal is it?" Vasati asked finally letting go of me.
"3 layer," she said holding up her forearm where the three-layer seal was left.
"Huh. You can't break through a seal that weak?" I interjected.
"Well for you two monsters, I guess it would be easy, but for me.... no." She frowned.
"Give me your hand" I instructed her.
"You won't break through the seal like that. It can only be broken by my mana since it was created by my mana." Rina said with a distant look.
"And," I said unwaveringly.
"What do you mean by and? You can't break the seal!" She shouted with tears forming in her eyes.
"Give me your hand!" I shouted back at her.
"Fine!" She shouted and finally outstretched her hand towards me.
"Listen closely, Rina. Even if I can't break it from the outside, I can break it from the inside. All I have to do is forcibly make your mana spiral out of control. It will be up to you to control it. Vasati will stand by and help you too." I ordered as I grabbed her hand and started to pour as much magic power into it as possible.
I could feel Rina's mana start to awaken and start to make me feel sleepy, but I pushed on. Suddenly I felt Rina's mana start to fill the room and Vasati was on it and began to stabilize the flow of mana.
"It's up to you now Rina! Stabilize the mana!" I exclaimed.
"..."
"I can't hold it for much longer!" Vasati yelled as I started to see a big yellow light started to fill the room.
"Rina! Hurry up!" I shouted at her.
"Done." Rina finally opened her eyes, and the bright yellow light flickered a few times and faded.
"The seal is gone. You guys did it!" Rina pulled both of us into a huge hug.
"Please let go..." I said struggling to breathe.
"You're killing us..." Vasati choked out.
Finally, she let go of us and sat down at our dining table.
"You two are extraordinary. It's expected of Vasati to be as powerful as she is being the daughter of that demon father, but for also Eira to be that powerful is truly an anomaly." Rina said staring at the two of us.
"Well of course my Eira is that powerful! Only someone with power rivaling mine is fit to stand next to me!" She said pulling me into a side hug.
"What kind of dragon are you?" I asked.
"Ohhhhhhh you're asking a question like that huh." She said grinning.
"Well yeah," I said blankly.
"I'm the Dream Dragon! Rina of the Dream!" She said posing with a peace sign.
"What!" I and Vasati both exclaimed.
"Isn't that a Unique Dragon type?!" I questioned.
"There are only 5 Unique Dragons that we have heard of!" Vasati shouted.
"Yeah, I know it's super impressive right." She said smirking.
"Well, that makes sense why your aura makes me sleepy," I said yawning.
"So, our business with each other is done. You're free to leave now." Vasati waved her off.
"Wait!" She shouted standing up from the chair.
"Let me accompany you on your quest," Rina begged.
"Huh. Don't you already have a party?" I asked.
"I'm leaving that party." She said grinning.
"Why?" Vasati asked.
"Because I want to join yours." She said pouting.
"We don't even have a party." Vasati deadpanned.
"Well let's make a name for it right now!" Rina insisted.
We struggled with a name for our party for about 20 minutes until I finally thought of one.
"How about, Phantom Gloom" I offered.
"Ohhhhhh that could be good!" Rina claimed.
"I like it! It will make us sound mysterious." Vasati excitedly shouted.
"It's set in stone now! We're all now part of the same cause!" Rina shouted.
"What's the cause?" I asked looking towards Vasati.
"How about... The downfall of humanity!" Vasati grinned.
"That's a cause we can all get behind!" Rina shouted.
"Whatever. We leave in two days at sunset. Don't.Be.Late" I said in my monotone voice.
"Yes Ma'am!" Rina said grinning.
In two days, Vasati and Rina would execute our first attack against humanity, and we were going for the top. The United Kingdom of Warminster.
