Thinking along those lines, Su Yang went to the virtual space and put up the (Double-sided Salted Fish Mask).
This mask was originally just an accessory that he accidentally added points to so he could craft the circus. Who would’ve expected that it would now become his most used item?
It was really hard for Su Yang to imagine what would happen if he didn’t have it. He wouldn’t be able to continuously use his special items and the circus while suffering the impact on his mental state.
‘Perhaps, Sanque would have to sacrifice an arm again…’
Going downstairs, Su Yang looked at the crown on his finger that had turned black from its initial gold color and decided to add more points.
The moment he called up his system, an image suddenly appeared out of nowhere in front of him. (Heaven’s Eyes) was activated.
The scene in the image was in a central business district. A familiar woman got down from a luxury car wearing a pair of leather pants. Her top was a punk-styled leather jacket and she wore a five-centimeter heel with most of her face covered with her sunglasses. It made her look calm and relaxed.
It took Su Yang a moment to recognize the original Jiang Yan.
However, Su Yang felt like he once did after recognizing her. After all, the woman before him gave off the strongest aura among those he met in the past.
Jiang Yan turned off the ignition for the Porsche Cayenne that seemed too aggressive for a woman and stepped away from the luxury car that was similar in height to her. She asked, “Did you say Su Yang? I seem to recall meeting this person. Why do you ask?”
As Su Yang focused his gaze on her ear, he found that she was wearing new iPods while she was on the phone.
The person on the other end sounded like a man, “Jiang Yan, he’s not from your circle, is he?’
Jiang Yan walked in her five-centimeter heels as her leather pants wrapped her slender legs as she strode around pridefully before replying, “What circle are you talking about, we’re all ordinary people.”
The man said gently, seemingly in an effort to please her, “But… After all, your father’s influence is too far-reaching for us ordinary people.” Jiang Yan’s gaze sharpened. “He isn’t.”
The man over said, “I’m relieved. I’ve got a company that competes with him…”
The man hadn’t finished his sentence when Jiang Yan interrupted him mercilessly, “Your business has nothing to do with me. If there’s nothing else, I’m hanging up.” After saying that, she didn’t wait for the man’s reply and raised her hand to tap the left earphone twice. Then, the phone was suddenly hung up and the image came to an abrupt end. The image disappeared but Su Yang’s hand still remained before him. If not for the image that appeared all of a sudden, he probably would’ve already added a point.
‘What was that image just now? Is it one of my company’s competitors?’
Su Yang felt that he might have exaggerated because his initial reaction was rather nonchalant. ‘Which company is this again?’ Since he had a variety of companies under his belt, Su Yang didn’t know which company the other party was talking about.
However, since the other party was probing into his affairs, he believed that he had probably revealed some information about himself in the past. As long as the other party revealed their name, he would also be able to identify them.
Su Yang wondered why the other party didn’t call him out by name. Generally speaking, nobody would refer to the boss of another company by name. They’d just refer to them as ‘company so-and-so’, ‘boss of this or that company’, or ‘their boss’. Even when he was dealing with Junqing, he wouldn’t call her out by name. Instead, he’d refer to them as General Manager Jiang, General Manager Qiao or Junqing’s Boss instead of their names.
As he put these things down on paper so he could get back to see who was competing with him later on, Su Yang called up the system store.
The [Burning Reincarnation Circus) was a +1 item and he’d have to use a Guardian Talisman to protect it if he wanted to get it to +2.
There were some things you could be thrifty on but for certain matters, you just have to bite the bullet. Su Yang purchased a Guardian Talisman from the system store and wrapped it around his right index finger. ‘I don’t know if this is effective, but there’s no better way to handle a tattoo.’
Fortunately, it worked and once the Guardian Talisman Su Yang bought was wrapped around it, the talisman slowly disappeared. When that happened, the black crown on his finger slowly morphed into a circle of tattoos that detached from his finger before slowly rotating around his index finger.
The black crown on the tattoo had a red luster to it so Su Yang knew that the talisman had served its purpose.
Su Yang didn’t waste any more time and called up the point addition system. Surely enough, a translucent [+] appeared above the rotating tattoos.
Su Yang gently tapped on the [+] and the tattoos stopped rotating as they began to shine brightly instead.
All this was part of the second point addition routine that Su Yang had already gotten used to. He was now looking forward to what a third addition would cause. ‘Would it just explode?’
With that being said, this point addition was slightly different than what he saw in the past. The cluster of light this time around seemed much smaller and also seemed to be imbued with life.
The tattoo was wrapped around Su Yang’s finger at first but it slowly moved, detaching from his finger before slowly floating into the air.
It was like a small sun emitting light in the air as it changed in shape. Somehow, it looked like a tangled fish or insects, making it look a little disgusting.
Su Yang felt bored after watching it for a while so he laid back on the couch. He realized that humans were actually quite the procrastinators.
In the past, he’d work every day to earn money when he was poor. Despite that, his feet were still feeling energetic.
However, he felt like it would be more comfortable if he laid down..
Of course, he blamed it all on the (Double-sided Salted Fish Mask). Without it, how would he know such joy. ‘Ah, lying down is so comfortable…’

Lying on the couch, the remaining light shone at the aperture in the sky as Su Yang called out a virtual interface so he could open his stock account for a look.
Last Friday, he bought 4.59 million shares of stock and since it was already Wednesday, there should be some changes. ‘As expected, there’s still… 4.58 million. ‘Right, losing 10,000 yuan in the first three days…’ Su Yang felt that it was an acceptable loss.. ‘Still… Didn’t Little Hus sniff these stocks and suggested that they’d do very well? How can I lose money?’ Since he didn’t understand much about stocks, Su Yang couldn’t analyze the issue as well. After all, he didn’t understand what the fundamentals, capital, news or related information meant.
The company’s main business, retail investors, and travelers didn’t even understand what was going on, not to mention the different events and curveballs that business entails.
Although he didn’t earn any money, Su Yang could still console himself since he was able to complete his task. Albeit a little reluctant, but at least it wasn’t a big loss.
Looking at the time, Su Yang estimated that his Silver Mission would be completed by the beginning of the following month. By then, he’d be able to add a third Silver Point so he felt like good planning was required. Little Deeny had talked to him before, saying that the most important thing for him was to strengthen himself, and he had been working towards this goal.
However, there were several points in question. Random points couldn’t strengthen his body, while bronze points only gave him abilities that ordinary people could obtain. Silver Points were the only thing he could rely on to strengthen his body.
The two silver abilities he obtained had amazing effects but neither of them allowed Su Yang’s body to achieve superhuman abilities so he could become more than a regular human. Su Yang felt like he still had a ways to go in his journey to become a ‘Superman’. ‘I wonder when I’ll become invulnerable and immortal.
‘How do I trigger another SIlver Mission?
‘The first two silver missions were about money and were incremental. I had to make a million and later, spend 10 million. The next one isn’t going to ask me to make a billion, right?’ Su Yang felt like it shouldn’t be that difficult.
After all, if he really had to make 100 million before the system asked him to spend 1 billion, would the next task entail 10 billion dollars instead? Then, would it later ask him to spend 100 billion? Even if this world was set in the backstory of Meteor Rain, prices still wouldn’t be that inflated.
It had to be a relatively low amount so Su Yang felt like he should try it while he had the time. So, Su Yang made up his mind, adding a million to the previous amount the mission required. “I want to make 2 million yuan! I don’t deserve to be from Huaxia if I can’t even make 2 million yuan!”
There was no response.
Su Yang continued shouting, “I want to make 3 million yuan! If I don’t make 3 million yuan, I’m a puppy!”
Still no response…
Instead, two more little monster beans popped up their heads in front of the villa. One was No. 17 and the other one was No.18 according to the ruffs around their necks.
‘These two little things actually haven’t exploded I see.’
Su Yang felt like these two had probably mutated. He decided that he’d use the system to confirm his suspicions when he had the time to catch them.
No. 17 was at the door and while looking at Su Yang, it covered his mouth. Then, it leaned into his sister’s ear, whispering something.
No.18, on the other hand, was nodding her head in a cute manner.
Su Yang brainstormed on his own.
“Sister, look at that fool. Stay away from him.”
“Okay, brother!”
Su Yang was speechless. He’s going to kill No. 17!
Su Yang gave No. 17 a fierce glare as he continued shouting, “4 million yuan, 4 million!”
“5 million, 8 million, 10 million! How about 10 million?! I’ll make 10 million!”
Just as Su Yang shouted his final offer, he heard a beep in his mind. (Triggered Silver Quest: Laying the Foundation). ‘Huh? I finally triggered it.’
Su Yang tapped on the system interface and looked at his new Silver Mission.
“Silver Mission: Laying the Foundation.
Mission Goal: Earn 10 million yuan.
Mission Duration: 2 months.
Mission Note: Build a 10,000 feet skyscraper from the ground up. Setting up a business empire, using special items, and changing the world with little monsters shouldn’t be from an empty tin can. Instead, you’ve got to achieve it step by step. Please earn 10 million in two months to build a good foundation for the future.
Before Su Yang could take a closer look at it, the cluster of light in the air suddenly changed as well as it began to expand after swaying around, gradually expanding to the size of a coffee table.
‘Huh? Did the addition of the point get me this [Increase Body Size] ability? ‘If this ends up being tattooed on me, I won’t be getting a ring tattoo, I’ll be getting a belt tattoo, right? ‘Will the circus in there get bigger?’ Just as Su Yang was deep in thought, he heard the roar of a fierce beast coming from the beam of light.
Along with that roar, the mass of light disappeared in a flash. A leopard with a golden body and graceful physique appeared in front of Su Yang.
Su Yang was speechless.
‘You added a point and changed the circus into a leopard? That’s a bit of a contrast, isn’t it? The circus was quite small, wasn’t it? This is a cross-species breed across different species! Heck, it even transcended worlds! “Sister Leopard, you’ve got the wrong script, right?’
