Chapter 5: It’s better if we talk to the experts

" It wouldn't matter even if you were participating. " 

After saying that Rey once again bowed toward Konohamuru and started walking forward, leaving Boruto startled.

Just as he was about to enter Naruto's office, he heard Sarada's and Konohamuru's laugh, followed by angry shouts of Boruto.

Entering the office, Rey bowed and greeted Naruto. 

" Hello, Lord Seventh. "

Naruto who had just seen the idiotic behavior of his son was happy to see the proper respect being shown to the Hokage position and said with a smile.

" Hello Tenten and Rey, long time no see."

Rey stood up and waited for Tenten to continue the conversation. 

" Yes Naruto, how are you? " Tenten said.

" Just busy with some work, So what brought you mother and son pair to come here?" Naruto asked, getting straight to the point.

A serious expression appeared on Tenten's face as she took a deep breath and said.

" The thing is.. Rey can somehow sense Nature Energy and feels that he will turn into a stone if he absorb it. "

Naruto's eyes widened in shock, initially he wanted to say she must be joking, but seeing the serious expression on her face, he knew she wasn't.

His eyes instantly turned to Rey and he asked

" Rey, can you explain what you feel?"

Rey obviously happy to see his plan working without any difficulty still maintained a somewhat nervous expression and explained. 

" Yes, Lord Seventh. It's as if there is a different energy everywhere around us like chakra, I can absorb it, but one day I had this weird dream about turning into a stone if I continued to absorb it. "

The more Naruto heard, the more his frown deepened.

" A dream huh.. " Naruto muttered and instantly went into sage mode and said.

" Can you show me by absorbing a small amount of that energy?" Naruto said as he got up from his chair and stood in front of Rey.

Rey had already expected this, but was still startled upon seeing Naruto's sage mode for the first time.

Feeling the strange pressure even though Naruto was suppressing it, Rey's desire to obtain such a power grew even more.

Rey controlled himself and nodded as he sat down in a meditative position.

Tenten wanted to say something, but Naruto spoke first

" Don't worry, I will stop him before anything goes wrong. "

Although Tenten was still worried, she didn't interfere anymore. 

Rey closed his eyes as he sat in the meditative position and tried to absorb the nature energy, which like chakra started entering his body easily.

It hadn't even been a few seconds since he started absorbing the nature energy, when he was woken up from his meditative state by Naruto.

Opening his eyes Rey found Naruto looking at him with an excited smile on his face while Tenten still showed a worried look on her face.

Rey instantly checked his own body, only to find himself in perfect condition.

" What happened? " Tenten asked, causing Naruto to come out of his sage mode and look at her in excitement. 

" He can really absorb nature energy without any sort of help. " He said, causing Tenten to feel proud but she became even more worried. 

" What should we do next?" Tenten said, causing a serious expression to appear on Naruto's face.

" It's better if we talk to the experts, follow me. " Naruto said after thinking for a few minutes and started walking toward the exit, followed by Rey and Tenten. 

They soon reached an empty training center and Naruto said.

" Stay here for a moment. "

Saying that he moved to the center of the training center and did his summoning jutsu, causing a lot of smoke to appear out of nowhere. 

As the smoke cleared, the huge figure of Naruto's summon ' Gamakichi ' became visible.

" Hey Naruto, long time no see." Gamakichi said.

" Hey Gamakichi, you have gotten even bigger. " Naruto said, excited to see his old friend.

They talked for a few moments and then Naruto explained the situation to him, Gamakichi looked in Rey's direction and noticed him bowing to pay his respect.

Making Gamakichi have a really good impression of Rey, then he nodded toward Naruto.

Naruto then made a shadow clone and gave him some instructions, after that the clone entered Gamakichi's mouth before they both suddenly disappeared from the training center.

Naruto returned to Rey and Tenten and told them that his clone and Gamakichi would explain the situation to the old sage toad and will return with Shima and Fukasaku, the two great sage toads from the battle with pain.

They then waited for a few minutes and then Naruto once again went to the center and performed his summoning jutsu.

Once again Gamakichi appeared, but this time he also brought the two couple toads, Shima and Fukasaku.

However, It seemed as if Fukasaku and Naruto were arguing about something but Rey knew that Naruto would be the winner, after all he had the world's most dangerous jutsu ' The Talk No JUTSU'. And as Rey expected after losing that little exchange, Fukasaku approached him. 

Rey didn't hesitate to bow as a show of respect, causing Fukasaku to get a good first impression of him.
