Chapter 3: 0002- to the city

Sora drank some water before leaving the system,  he could now drink more water than before, and open leaving the system he began cultivating within his room. he only had 30 minutes remaining within the system, he didn't want to use it all up just in case something had happened.

After cultivating for some time, Sora made 0.15 dragon marks, with such a small amount of dragon marks. they gave him only +1.5 to his powerlevel. of course, Sora was not complaining, it made him look forward to the future.

"what's the next step? I can't explore that forest yet, I want to open a portal to a new world. but it's too risky with my current strength... I should explore I new world once I have the fist of slaughter, that's when I can show the true power of the God Of Conquest." Sora said softly as he looked at the forest of death, with his newfound strength, his eyesight also improved.

although hard, he could barely make out the undead walking within the forest. he knew any of these undead might have enough power to kill him. Sora closed his eyes for some time before he looked toward where the city was at. with his current strength, it would take about 2 hours to get there.

it was far away, unlike Red who could get there within 1 or 2 minutes without even trying. Sora would be like a snail when moving there, Sora sighed as he went on to fall into deep thought before he looked into the system.

there were many apple trees within the system now, they grew faster and produced apples faster, and the speed of their death also increased. they could only remain for a week before they died. at their death, the world would absorb the energy from the tree, giving it more XP.

the slaves and Red were currently cultivating within the system. the Qi there was much better than the outside world, so they could have a faster breakthrough than here. Sora smiled seeing them all drinking the water and eating apples. doing so was like eating rare herbs to help improve their cultivation speed, these apples didn't only taste good, they had a lot of energy.

of course for those at level 6, the energy the apples and water gave was not that much. but it was better than nothing, at this rate they would soon break through in about a year or so. for someone like Red, he was just eating for the pleasure of eating, he had eaten better apples, and higher quality of water. the Qi in the air was pretty much normal air to him. but even he could tell how special this place was when seeing how fast apples grew.

Sora went to go grab a cup, and with a wave of his hand water from the system appeared within the system cup. after the cup was filled, Sora drank the water before he went to his room to cultivate. a cup of water this time was enough to make him full.

He cultivated for another hour, he used all that energy to only cultivate the god marks. and so, for the whole day, Sora eat apples, drank water, and was simply forced on cultivating. time went by, and soon it was the middle of the night. opening his eyes, Sora stood up while looking at his statue's window.

"Haha, good. this morning I only had a peak strength at level 4 copper rank going all out, but that became my base powerlevel." Sora said with a laugh, he could defeat himself from a few moments ago without the need of the Waring Fist, even if his past self used it, Sora could still win.

this was all because the God Marks and his cultivation were balanced. none could overwhelm the others. this meant it was not a simple 1+1= 2, but more like 1+1=2.5.

that extra boost could mean a huge difference in power, as, without it, Sora's normal powerlevel would only be 15, and his max powerlevel would be 30. although this only gave him an extra 7.5 to his max powerlevel which was a 1.25 times difference in power, meaning a notable gap in power.

"This cultivation art is scary, to this I could already face a level 7 Copper rank expert in just 2 days after cultivating this art..." Sora said softly, He was truly a god among those of the same level, he had seen many talents and heard of many talents of the past... none at level 1 copper rank showed the power to skip 6 levels.

of course, he had heard of others later down the road who should have such abilities to skip 6 levels with unique abilities or something. of course, as one cultivates they gain the ability to show off the true power of their cultivation art... but Sora just began cultivating,

"i'm going to reach the level of the former host, by a shocking amount..." Sora said with a smile as he looked outside, as he looked at the sky his smile slowly disappeared as he noticed it was a fool moon out tonight. looking towards the forest, his heart skipped as he noticed the undead was slowly walking around, heading out of the forest.

"I have such a loving brother, picked such perfect timing to throw me into this place," Sora said with a deep frown as he thought of what he should do. When his elder brother took the throne, he banished him to this land and forbid him from ever leaving. if he left then it would be seen as a crime that would be punished with a fate worse than death.

Sora knows clearly that within the royal, the concept of love among siblings didn't exist. Sora's fate was lighter compared to others, his other brothers were given a public execution, locked away in a prison for a fate worse than death, and so on. those who were on bad terms with the current king had gotten a fate worse than anything they could imagine.

'i wonder if I put this undead into the system if something would happen? I might grow an army of my own,' Sora thought as his eyes brightened slightly, he couldn't help but think of the world of the walking dead, was that not a ground of undead waiting for his picking?

'Red.' Sora called out, after a moment Red replied to his calling leading to Sora calling him out from the system, leading to Red appearing next to him.

"..." Red froze upon looking outside and seeing a wave of undead heading this way, the undead were attracted to living. so sooner or later, the undead would have come here because they were here,

"capture one of them, I want to see something," Sora said with a smile, Red nodded slightly before leaving, the undead were considered souls. of course, this was for low-grade undead. the undead of a higher rank is no weaker than the humans, Red quickly captured an undead, and in a heartbeat, he flashed before Sora with an undead in his hands.

it was only at level 1 copper rank, this thing was the weakest thing he could get so Sora, he didn't want Sora to be injured after all. Sora grabbed it, and with a thought, he tried to send it to the system but in the end resisted.

{system is unable to bring anything into the system which resists unless the host uses overwhelming power to forcefully take it in... level up the system to have the ability to create portals into the system to avoid this weakness.} the system said Sora sighed softly, copper Qi gathered on Sora hand before it wrapped around the undead and forcefully pulled it into the system.

{Sensing a hostile being within the system... being has been subdued. life form has been added to the realm of the undead. note that this zombie can also cultivate within the realm of the undead, note the undead have limitations to how strong they could be.} the system said as Sora resummoned the undead and looked at it carefully.

He gave it some orders, and the undead did as he wished, stunning Red, but he frowned slightly seeing this. if people didn't know better, they would think Sora demonic cultivator seeing this. this was of course bad, what should he do if experts come after Sora claiming he was evil?

"capture more undead, I want only the stronger ones, also suppress them. as for me being considered a demonic cultivator... I could care less." Sora said with hands behind his back, Red frowned for a moment but after some thought, he nodded and move.

Sora couldn't even keep up with his moment, Red had a powerlevel of 285, that's not adding the Dao he had comprehended along with the equipment he had on his body which further boosted his strength. Red strength was enough to fight those at half step level 4,

quickly, undead at level 1 Iron rank was captured. it took some time, but Red returned and Sora went on to send this undead into the system, which went on to subdue this undead. after which, Sora called out this undead and had them move to go capture other undead while Red watched this from the side in amazement.

"We could conquer the undead land, we just need to find a way to bypass the undead Qi," Sora said with a smile,  Red nodded in agreement. to think they had a way to bounce back, and were stronger than ever.

"the undead army, this will be our trump card. this land will be our base until I kick my elder brother off the throne." Sora said with a smile, Red nodded as he had no reason to reject Sora's words. since the undead realm within the system was only one acre, there was a limit to how much land it could hold. that was like half the size of a football field, not that big to hold much undead.

Sora at some point, Sora sent Red to the system and left the land of the undead on top of a horse-like undead. he headed towards a mountain a few minutes away, where he went around collecting herbs. there was more life on this mountain, and with the house which was at level 1 Irion rank acting as his guard, Sora had nothing to fear so long as he didn't go all the way up the mountains.

beast liked to claim the high ground, so on top of the mountain, there could be a level 3 or higher iron rank beast. Sora went on to collect many rare herbs, both poisonous and note, the system took than all in, Sora even took the soil here into the system although not much of an improvement was made.

"Grrrrr!" a wolf half the size of a full-grown man rushed towards Sora who had his back facing it, Sora quickly turned around with a thought, he drew upon his dragon marks and dodged the wolf's attack before he went on to quickly punch it, sending the wolf slam into a tree.

"a level 3 Copper rank beast..." Sora said softly, the beast was known to be stronger than humans, they were stronger, faster, and had much better senses than humans. wolves are usually at least 1.5 times stronger than those of the same level, this would lead to humans having to team up just to defeat one beast.

Of course, with such strength. the beast needs more energy than humans to cultivate, adding the fact most beasts gave birth at a higher rate than humans. the beast had a harder time getting resources for cultivation compared to humans who had come up with many ways to cultivate.

the beast couldn't take pills, they couldn't make weapons and farm. this made it harder for the beast to cultivate, but the beast could cultivate by eating a stronger beast. plus they can inherit memories through their bloodlines which could greatly help them.

of course, beasts had things that made them better than humans, for example, they were born with many unique bloodlines and abilities. the beast could better raise animals compared to humans, train these beasts, and so on. humans had a harder time training animals that gained cultivations,

the difference between a beast and an animal is clear. beast cultivated, and lost their animal-like appearance and look scarier. they are larger, and quicker towards death, animals on the other hand are normal animals that didn't transform into a beast upon gaining cultivation.

Sora went on to subdue the wolf before throwing it into the system to see what could happen, and to no one shock, nothing happened.

Sora sighed softly, before jumping onto the wolf, and ordering it to take him to where the herbs were at. the horse followed acting as his guard, and so the night went by

{congrulation on leveling up the system to level 6. the Qi, Soil, and Water within the system to level 6. the quality and strength of all things produced within the host world have improved. Pants will grow 10 times faster within the system.

The land within the system has doubled to 2 acres, the host can now remain within the system for 4 hours per day.

a new function has been added to the system, the map. the map allows the host to map out the world and get to see everything as it happens. no volume is available.} the system said as Sora sighed while looking at the raising sun,

'now it takes the apple tree 9 seconds to grow. this is a bite overpowered, adding all the herbs I had the slaves plant, I should return back to my land and cultivate, and have the slaves all at least rank the iron rank.' Sora thought with a smile as he hopped onto the house and had it rush back to his land, while doing so, he had the map open in front of him.

the map showed a Satellite image of everything that was mapped out, as for things that were mapped out, it was as far as Sora could see with his current eyesight from where he stood. there was a marker that had his image, and under that image was a green color.

'it seems green means allies and red should be enemy. gray is unknown.' Sora thought as he looked around and saw many red markers in the land of the undead and some gray markers within the mountain. of course, there were humans there, Sora had avoided them, not wanting any trouble for the time being.

'this will make things good, but it's clear the Allie and enemy are based on how I look at stuff, so if I don't know if I consider someone a friend or not, it will be gray.' Sora thought with a smile, soon he arrived at his land, he first maps out the land 10 miles around him before he returned home. there was still some undead around which he of course personally caught. these were the weaker undead, so there was nothing for him to worry about.

After all that was done, Sora entered his room before going to the system. He went on to grab an apple, and some water to drink, before he went don't to cultivate within the system. of course, he cultivated faster within the system, the air within here was so dense and pure. it was much easier to absorb and refine.

and so, he cultivated for 2 hours before he left, and cultivated within his room using the system recourses. and so, time quickly went by with him just cultivating.

{warning, unknown being is nearing host.} the system suddenly spoke, waking up Sora, who quickly opened up the system map to see what was happened. currently, there was a gray marker heading his way at extreme speed. Sora didn't think twice seeing he was crossing miles in a heart beats, he instantly entered the system, and as soon as he entered th person heading this way crossed 10 miles in the blink of an eye and arrived outside the run-down house.

Sora watched this man using the system map, he had the system switch to street view, so he could have a better look at this man. Sora frowned as he knew who this man was, he was a man he had seen around his elder brother a few times.

'sigh, elder brother, truly loves me. even sent people to make sure I was taken care of.' Sora thought with a helpless sigh,

'I really must repay this kindness 10... no, a trillion times over. hopefully, there are worlds I could enter that have people who are killed at torture. a little motel thinking of harming the likes of me, it's so funny I can't even laugh.' Sora thought with a snort before he froze... when did he become so arrogant. he frowned slightly, before going through the God of conquest cultivation art.

All cultivation arts had a drawback, of course, there were those that had none if they had extremely had requirements to cultivate. but mostly, most cultivation arts had a huge price to pay, the God Of conquest price was simple, your body becomes that of a god of conquest, the same for soul and mind.

as time goes on, Sora will become a true god of conquest, in a way this was not a dare back. but the change in the way he would view the world would be great. a God rarely has human-like emotions, their wrath could leave millions dead, and they do as they wish without the conquest of right and wrong. a god was selfish, that was even more so for the god of conquest, all existed was his, if it was not under his rule than he shall conquer it or destroy it.

"trouble some... but this mindset would allow me to better cultivate this cultivation art," Sora said softly as he looked back at the map, and watched as the man looked around before he left. he looked at the map to make sure he truly left before he left the system and return to cultivate

Sora spent the next 10 hours cultivating before he broke through to level 2 copper rank, feeling the strength he now held within his body, Sora let out a deep breath before summoning Red for a spar, Sora wanted to use the Fist of war, so Red was a good person to allow him to master these fist arts.

and so time went by, Sora spent his time for the next 2 weeks training, finding rare herbs to level up the system, or cultivating. Sora was working hard, as out of everyone he needed the most recourses and he had to level the system as soon as possible. but in these short 2 weeks, he did make huge improvements.

within a carriage, Sora sat with some slaves while looking at the city they were heading towards. the land of the undead was great and all, but if they remained their growth would not be as fast as if they were just to enter the city and start selling herbs grown within the system and other stuff.

He was planning on selling this stuff, and in return using the money to buy resources for cultivation and other stuff. of course there was other stuff he planned on doing, for one he planned on entering a sect and having some nice cultivation recourse handed to him, as hell as finding some talents to take.

"... is something wrong Silver?" Sora asked the slave with the scar across her face, they no longer had slave clothing as Sora had given them all maids clothing. he had the females become his maids, and the males become butlers.

"i-its nothing, it's just that lord has been treating us slaves so well... I don't know how we could ever repay your kindness." She said softly, Sora smiled at her words slightly

"you can simply repay me by being loyal. you're at level 10 copper rank,  and you're only 15 years old, all of that with the little resources you have, you are indeed more talented than me. in a few years, I would start relying on you more and more often." Sora said with a smile, Silver was indeed talented. Sora had found that yin-type herbs fitted her perfectly, and helped her cultivation improve at a shocking rate,

that's not adding the chilling air her Qi gave off, Sora spared with her and each clash felt as if the cold air was entering his body, freezing him from the inside out. due to their almost equal strength at the time, he found that resisting this attack was harder said than done, it slowed him down both mentally and physically,
