Chapter 6: Chapter 5.

As I proceed with the exploration of the forest, I moved towards the depths of the forest. I came across many creatures but they were not monster's but some types of insects or animals that is normal for the forest ecosystem. So I just returned to the Sage's house. 

"Looks like I will not encounter any more Monster, so I should go towards the Sage's resting place that was the cave around the house and accept his inheritance and Magic Circuits." 

Yes, I have decided to accept his Inheritance as well as his Magic Circuits even though I can use Magic without it. Because a Sage is an existance that is accepted by the World Will and a Sage like Zenovis, who had even stepped into the Realm of God's while he was alive, as made so many overpowered weapons even gone to the outer space to explore it without it's prior knowledge as he was a special man who had influenced not only this world Argena but also the whole universe, including the God's Realm. So his Magic Circuits must be Unique in this universe.

So to help me find his resting place quickly I created a skill for it.

[You have created a skill [Mapping]

[Mapping] : Allows you to visualize a Map of you with the center of it along with your surroundings in your mind. Area of Map can increase or decrease with spreading Magic Power in your surroundings.]

After creating the skill I immediately used it while spreading my Magical Powers in my surroundings slowly, which was quite easy for me thanks to my Magic Power Control skill. 

As I spread my Magic in my surroundings as an 3D holographic image started to form in my mind, that was covered in my Magic Powers. While focusing the image that was forming in my mind I tried searching for the cave nearby me. 

Which I eventually found after spending some time on it. As it was at the back of my house in the deapts of the forest so I immediately moved towards the cave direction.

As I arrived near the vaccinaty of the cave I picked a life presence around it's enterance. 

At the entrance, near the cave below the tree I saw the culprit for it. A creature with the overwhelming aura of a warrior lay there under the tree. Its body was massive, in excess of two meters in height, and its skin was dark red, as if smeared with blood. Its bulging biceps were as thick as my fat torso, and its face resembled an oni, a fictional existence, with the two splendid and sharp fangs growing from its lower jaw.

Looking at the Monster that was resting with it's eye closed, I remembered a same creature with the same characteristics mentioned in the original story, while it did not feel my presence and continued on resting, as I used Appraisal on it to confirm my guess.

Attack: 5000

Defense: 5000

Luck: 100

"So it was really the monster that the original protagonist face when he first came into the other World, and was able  to Level Up and Leveling Up for the first time after defeating it."

While focusing on the resting creature, I took out the Absolute Spear in my hand as I took a throwing stance and aim at it's chest. As I threw the spear it dissapeared from my hand and went towards the Orge in a incredible speed, as it pearced through it's chest without giving it much time to react. 

As it's body started to disappear and scattered into the lights particles, leaving behind some items.

[Bloody War Demon's Great Fang] : Fangs of the Bloody Ogre. Its fangs are not particularly massive, but when combined with the Bloody Ogre's bite force, it could easily penetrate the skin of any prey. If processed, it could be made into a sturdy and sharp weapon.]

[Magic Stone: Rank B] : A special ore that can be obtained from magical beasts.] 

[Bloody War Demon's Body Armor] : A drop from Bloody Ogres, made from their strong skin and muscle fibers. This armor can't be scratched by typical attacks. The wearer's attack power is modified.]

[Bloody War Demon's Gauntlet] : A drop from Bloody Ogres, made from their strong skin and muscle fibers. This gauntlet can't be scratched by typical attacks. The wearer's attack power is modified.]

[Bloody War Demon's Waist Armor] : A drop from Bloody Ogres, made from their strong skin and muscle fibers. This gauntlet can't be scratched by typical attacks. The wearer's agility is modified.]

[Bloody War Demon's Leg Armor] : A drop from Bloody Ogres, made from their strong skin and muscle fibers. This leg armor can't be scratched by typical attacks. The wearer's agility is modified.]

As I appraised all the items my attention was on the armor set, the body armor was somewhat shaped like the Bloody Ogre's abdominal muscles, and overall, the gauntlet was somewhat thorny. The waist armor looked just as sharp as the body armor and the gauntlet, and the red cloak was attached. Even the leg armor was very cool, with the feeling that its design was adjusted to match the wearer's legs.

 

After being satisfied with it I stored all the items in the Item Box including the armor, and I entered the cave which was also the Sage resting place. 

 

Just as I entered the cave, a torch on the wall caught fire and the whole cave became bright, but after a while, we reached the deepest part of the cave. The deepest part is a slightly larger space, and a large number of torches are held up on the surrounding walls.

At an side of the larger space of the cave,a skeleton in a robe is sitting, leaning against the innermost side wall, it seems to be completely dead with no sign of movement at all with the thick book in front of his feet.

"Sage Zenovis, huh."

After I paid my respects to the skeleton which was Sage Zenovis, and approced towards him and picked up the book the was on his feet. When I picked up the book, the cover said "The Sage's Book" as I opened the the book to read the contents written in the book.

"To those who have reached this point, ~the sage~"

"Well…I know this is sudden, but let's talk about the past. It's my past. I know it's boring but listen to me."

"──I could do anything. Yes, ever since I was born… There was nothing I couldn't do. Magic, swordsmanship, cooking, singing, painting, blacksmithing… I could really do everything in this world. And I had the power to master it, too."

"As the saying goes 'A person with an incredible power/intelligence is feared by many" as I said those words unconsciously while reading the book, but I didn't pay any attention to it and continued to read.

"It's a bit scary, but to solve this is simple… Well, for someone other than me."

"The answer is to get someone you can trust."

"It could be a friend, a lover, or a parent. Make someone who will lay everything on the line and still be there for you."

"…I was good at building relationships when I was alive, but I didn't get someone to expose everything like that. If you have the time, don't be afraid and look for such a person positively."

"So don't rush, take your time…go at your own pace and get a lifetime friend. Not only do you have to deal with your friends, but you have to deal with yourself."

"Thank you for keeping me company this far, and I apologize for that, but… I'll write one thing you want to know in this book."

When I saw those written letters, I knew that what I want so I said...

"Magic"

As I was said about it, a new character is written on the page that had been blank until now.

"It seems like you want to know about magic."

"I've packed all of my magic theories into this continuation. However… you have no knowledge of magic… no, on the contrary… you're not a resident of this world."

"But unfortunately, even if you have the magic theory drilled into your head, you're not capable of using magic. That's because every human in this world has… [Magic Circuit] in their body that allows them to use magic."

"Simply put, it's like a blood vessel. Unlike you, humans in this world produce not only blood but also magic power from their hearts, and it runs through their entire body. However, being an otherworlder, you don't have this circuit. Therefore, you can't use magic."

Looking at the additional letters I wish to let out the chuckle but I controled myself not to let it out. 

"──Therefore, I will give you my magic circuit. Yeah, I don't exist anymore. But my magic circuit is so precious that it can be said to be a treasure of this world. It would be better for you to use it than just to make it disappear."

"If you don't use it, it's just going to disappear. But now you're here. There's nothing wrong with that, just that the existence that inherits it just happens to be an otherworlder. It's decided that it's better for people who can use it."

"In the first place, how many people can get to this place…?"

"Well, don't think too hard about it, but be happy that you just happen to have the world's best magic circuit."

"I wonder about that."

"…Well, whatever. I have nothing to say to you if you will eventually become worthy of that power and live a life that you can hold your heart out for."

"Now that you've made your decision, let's get you started. This is my magic circuit that the whole world has wanted…!"

 I had been turning the pages by hand before, but suddenly the book jumped out of my hand and was fixed in the air, and the pages were being turned more and more. Then, as the page stopped, a large number of characters that I had never seen before emerged there and jumped off the page.

"Whoa!?"

I let out an exclaimed as the string of letters undulates like a snake. It's crawled up from my feet to all over my body; the characters filled from the top of my head to the toes of my feet, eventually covering my entire body and disappearing into my body.

At that moment, my heart felt like it was on fire. I dropped to my knees in place without thinking, but this time the heat rushed through my entire body from my heart, and eventually, it quietly receded.

"Hah, hah, hah, hah…!"

As I try to catch my breath desperately. I had an happy grin on face.
