I'm not sure how long I've been imprisoned in this cage.

All I remember is playing a new game I bought  from the market and fainting.

That was it.

When I saw myself in this strange place and in this awkward situation, and Topple it over in this unknown body, I panicked and began to scream like a madman.

Soon after, a man with a long mustache and a large belly appeared, holding a stick in his hands.

and began to beat me; I tried to resist, but I don't have the strength in this lifeless body of mine to block a single attack, so I accepted and remained silent.

Although i hate to say it Seems i was helpless.

Looking around, I see several other people in tattered clothes and lifeless eyes waiting for something.

But then I notice something startling.

'Demi humans'

Indeed, there were demi-humans imprisoned in front of me, as well as many other races, including humans.

The cages were kept in an alleyway with a large crowd passing through it.

If I'm not mistaken, it appears to be a...

'slave market'

In Their throat were some kind of Choker , I guess it's a Slave mark.

Many questions rose in my mind.

—How i did i get here?

—Ami Dead?

—Is that I'm dreaming?

—Am i too horny?

But

I'm not going to freak out and add to my anxiety by wondering, "How did I get here?"

There is no doubt that no one can answer that.

I scratched the cage bars to test their strength, and it was clear that no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't break them.

"Did you hear the Bloodfallen family's young miss is coming to the market?"

"What really?"

"Yes, Young miss Veronica Bloodfallen is apparently coming to this market of ours to a buy a slave"

Not far from me, two bystanders were conversing about some sort of young lady, but that wasn't why I listened to their conversation. The title "Bloodfallen" piqued my interest.

"Doesn't this sound familiar, Bloodfallen?"

As I was racking my brain for an answer, the same guy with the big moustache and the huge belly appeared and slammed his stick into the cage I was in.

"Hey, Human, listen carefully The young miss of the Bloodfallen family is visiting our shop today . Remain silent while she remains here, and don't you dare to make a scene like earlier. If you do anything like that, it will not end with just getting beaten this time." He walks away, but before he can go, I ask him a question.

"U-um are we  in the Aragon Empire?"

The man with the big mustache gave me a dumb look before speaking angrily.

"Are you dumb or what, of course we are in Aragon Empire"

He walks away.

*Badump* *Badump* *Badump* *Ba

My heart began to race as I reassessed my situation.

"I reincarnated in a visual novel."

That's correct.

The Aragon Kingdom and the name of the young lady were proof of this.

The visual novel, which I brought has gone by the name of. "The sly knight"

It's a game with numerous characters and plot lines.

You can choose from a number of different characters, each with their own backstory.

The visual novel is primarily concerned with combat and relationship development.

To put it another way, the more characters you befriend, the more help you'll get while playing the game.

The game focuses on various attributes and many different story settings.

It Gives player's a free reign over the course of action they take in the game.

The game has Serval different world's and fantasy elements.

To be honest, I was pretty shocked when this game was released.

I wondered how many years did it take, to Build this caliber of game.

The game begins in the Aragon Empire, which is home to several of the game's main characters and the location of the major battle.

The Bloodfallen

How can I forget the Bloodfallen family name?

It was the family that started the uproar in the Empire, which led to the empire's total destruction.0

A luxurious carriage painted red stands by the market's roadside.

Tons of soldiers armed with spears and shields stood guard around the carriage. An insignia shaped like a fallen rose adorned their chests.

Inside the Carriage was the Bloodfallen Family's young lady.

A soldier approached and knocked on the carriage's door.

The carriage door quickly opened, revealing a lovely young lady in a long red gown.

A small round hat adorned her head.

She asked solemnly, her crimson gaze fixed on the soldiers.

"What's the problem?  Have we arrived at our destination?"

The soldier responded without looking at the young woman.

"Yes, Miss, we are here, but there is a minor issue."

"What is the issue?"

He spoke after receiving the affirmation.

"The alleyway we're taking is too narrow for the carriage. As a result, the young lady will have to walk there."

"Haah, no problem then. I shall walk there by foot then."

The lady steps out of the carriage, followed by two servants.

"Lead the way," she urged as the soldiers who were guarding her began to cross the alleyway.

They arrived by walking into a place that was filled with numerous cages placed at the corners of the road.

Veronica , She gazed at the marketplace with her scarlet eyes.

"You guys stay here; I'll go there alone."

"But miss—

"Don't make a fuss about this; also, I'm taking my maids with me."

She started walking while the other two maids followed her.

...

Serval Soldiers rush into the passageway, and I can hear the screams and anguish of numerous individuals in front of me.

This was caused by a powerful explosion that happened in our immediate proximity a few seconds ago.

Some folks fled, missing one of their legs and one of their hands.

I was still in the cage, staring at the chao's side of myself, feeling powerless.

I can picture the large, mustachioed man gathering his belongings and getting ready to depart.

I grabbed his leg from the cage hole as he was crossing.

"What are you up to, Bastard? leave me !"

He began to kick my hands with his other free leg, and I'm afraid my hands may shatter if this continues.

With teary eyes, I pleaded urgently.

"P-please let me go."

"Leave me, Bastard; even if I let you go, you'll perish."

"Please, Sob*, please let me go!"

As I withstood the pain , I began yelling at him.

"Tsk, here's your key." As I let go of his legs, he tossed a key into the cage.

He then raced away, not looking back.

Without hesitation, I began to unlock the cage's lock.

The locks then opened as I slowly came outside the cage.

People's sobs may be heard all around the city.

My gaze was drawn to a soldier not far away, who was lying down with his back to a wall.

I can tell he has a serious cut to his stomach if I look attentively.

I approached him quickly, hoping to find out what had occurred.

"Y-kid, you shouldn't be here; leave this location." When the military saw me, he instructed me to flee.

"Could you just explain me what happened?"

"A-a monster ambushed us when we were patrolling this region, and it is presently engaged in a

fierce battle with our young lady Veronica."

'A monster attack in the market Place.'

Isn't this that event?

Another tremendous explosion resonated across the vicinity at that moment, coming from the south.

Then I turned back to the soldier to ask a few more questions. But he was no longer alive.

Nobody has ever died before in front of me.

And now this—what will happen.

I ran towards the clashing of swords.

And reached the market's center section.

And there it was... there in front of me.

There were several bodies dispersed over the region.

A girl with a torn red dress stands in the middle of all of this.

Her body was soaked in blood.

She held a silver sword in her hand, which matched her shining silvery hair.

Her opponent was a gorilla-like monster with teeth so enormous and terrible that anyone who got stung by them would die. His physique was at least the size of a two-story structure.

Just seeing this terrifying beast in front of me causes my heart to quake with terror.

But then my eyes returned to the girl, whose face was devoid of fear or anxiety; in retrospect, it was a countenance full with resolve and strength. Her aura was so strong that even from this distance, I could sense it.

As she yelled at the creature in front of her, her scarlet eyes flashed like jewels.

"You demon's puppet, come meet your doom."

As the girl ran in the direction of the monster, the blade sent forth a dazzling glow.

A shield suddenly materialized in the sky as the monster, feeling danger, leaped to dodge the sword assault, but he failed. His body slammed against the shield and he plummeted to the ground.

A floating information screen appeared in front of my eyes.

'What exactly is this?'

Out of curiosity, I touched the window, and as I did.

A plethora of information about the infamous "Veronica Bloodfallen" appeared in front of me.

I can tell this system is from a visual novel based on some of the information in the Status panel.

It's precisely what I stated before. In this game, you must form bonds with other characters and assist them in their journeys in order for them to assist you.

If I'm being absolutely honest, it's a jumble of everything.

Then I returned my attention to the struggle.

Veronica slashed into the monstrous guerilla's legs as he screamed in anguish and desperately sought to repel the onslaught.

But Veronica's sword abilities were so fierce and precise that even with his massive hands, he was struggling.

The fight was pretty much one-sided as of this point.

The guerilla was plainly losing, whereas Veronica was doing really well.

An arrow came at Veronica with great force, and she held her sword to defend herself.

If you look closely, the arrow was covered in some sort of mist.

I looked in disbelief at the scene that was unfolding in front of my eyes.

Veronica, who is clearly winning, was pinned on the ground with blood streaming from her body.

Her shoulder has been penetrated by the arrow.

On the opposite side, the monster was dead. But how exactly?

To respond to my inquiries, A man dressed in a black suit that covered his entire body entered the center. where the battle was going on.

Slowly walking, the man reached where Veronica was lying unconscious.

He raised his hands in the air as Serval hooded figures wrapped in black cloth similar to the man appeared.

"Examine the body."

He ordered a hunched figure from the gathering.

He approached Veronica and, kneeling, cast a magical spell that enveloped her entire body before disappearing.

"My lord," says the examiner, "it appears she's dead."

"I see. Then let us leave the capital immediately." They then leave the area.

I stared at Veronica, who was no longer alive.

It's impossible for me to believe. How can the character who was so powerful and proud of her powers be dead?

My feet were still trembling in anxiety, and I was debating whether or not to check on her.

I was presented with two possibilities.

The two alternatives To be honest, that looks fairly suspicious to me.

It mentioned in the first choice to save her from death and pursue the character's route.

I mean, I get the first part, but how about following the character's journey?

Then there's the second, which is the most perplexing.

I may discover really intriguing advancements in my life if I forsake her.

But, on the other hand, by saving her, I can acquire her favor. which is the most critical thing I require.

I hurriedly ran towards the center, where her body was lying down.

I began to call her name while kneeling to her position.

Since I was a child, my father has taught me that being affectionate toward anything is the biggest weakness of individuals.

Because being loving with someone or having a lovable yearning for them may impair your judgment and brain, which is precisely what I dislike.

I don't want to be weak; I want to be the strongest, which is why I've been training myself since I was a child, with all of my attention and effort. I was so concentrated on growing stronger that I never got to enjoy a regular life like the other females. as in going to a party with friends and a lover But don't get me started on it. I've never regretted a single decision I've taken in my life. As the next Bloodfallen house head, I needed to make a significant sacrifice.

I managed to become the Aragon Empire's most powerful young mage. The sixth most powerful wizard and saint of the sword.

I was quite proud of my abilities since I thought that not everyone could do what I had.

But my pride was crushed like a broken glass today.

The scene I could never have imagined played out in front of my eyes.

My protective shield had been penetrated, and the arrow I had hoped to block had pierced my heart.

My awareness is gradually melting away.

This meant I was dying as the dark mana was slowly engulfing my body.

I still have a lot to do in my life, which is why I'm experiencing such strong sentiments about death right now.

A gentle and troubled tone reached my ears, as though in response to my plea.

But I lack the strength to open my eyes.

A warm touch caresses my cheeks, and then a sweet aroma tickles my nostrils.

I opened my eyes with all the strength I had left in my body.

A boy with black hair and sapphire eyes was staring at my face with worried expression.

"Oh, thank goodness. You blinked your eyes open. For a brief time, I was convinced you were dead."

When he saw me open my eyes, he appeared relieved.

But why?

I don't remember this boy, and I'm certain I've done nothing that would cause anyone to be concerned or saddened by my death.

Then  why.

I was in his laps, and his arms were over my shoulders.

"Veronica-san, I'm about to cut my hands, so kindly drink this; it will help you heal."

Was he offering me blood?

"T-that won't work," I said, my mouth trembling.

"You don't need to be concerned about that, so please drink this."

He made a small cut in one of his fingers with a knife and put his bloody fingers into my lips.

This blood was totally different from others because this has an odd, sweet smell which I have never seen.

My vampire senses were screaming at me to drink this.

"Drink it."

And then I began sucking the blood with all my power.

As the blood entered my mouth, I felt such ecstasy that my entire body shook with delight, even though I was in this terrible situation.

I can feel the dark mana leaving my body, yet it was impossible, I'm sure. No, I'm positive that not even blood can cure this.  this is lethal for vampires, how was it healing me?

When I looked at the boy, I noticed that his entire face was red as he stared at me.

'Cute'

His hands were trembling.

My body was now at its peak condition.

I released the boy's hands, and as soon as I did, he fainted with me on top of him.
