Chapter 4: Chapter 4

Right now am standing in the middle of a massive forest fire that I caused, this is all because I was a fool, I definitely should have used the fireball jutsu, the majestic destroyer flame is the type of Jutsu meant to deal with an army but I guess I couldn’t help myself, well no use in dwelling on I what I could have done.

“let’s see”

Putting my hand on my chin I start to think of a Jutsu that’ll extinguish this fire, who was a great water style user in the series? Most likely the mizukage but she never really shows any water style jutsu… oh yes Kisame that guy used water style in all of his fights so he had plenty. Okay, I got it I know which water style to use.

“t-this is impossible”

So says the girl behind me but I ignore her after all we’re in the middle of a forest fire. Before I use that jutsu I make a shadow clone and instruct it to carry the girl, once that’s taken care of, I start weaving hands signs

“Water style: great exploding water current”

Putting my hands together after a few seconds a massive amount of water explodes from where I’m standing it rushes forward toward the fire, I and my clone jump up and let the water extinguish the fire, and with that, a great amount of steam covers the forest and completely blinds us, the girl is surprisingly quiet I thought she would be freaking out and saying this like ‘impossible’ or ‘no way’ many times over by now.

After a few minutes, the steam clears and I see the damage I did. I’m glad there aren’t any environmentalists in this world, well am sure there are some but they’re maybe not as many as in my old world or maybe they don’t have that much authority

What I am seeing right now is nothing but the scorched remains of over a quarter if not half of the forest, man the majestic destroyer flame is legit but am gonna have to fix this. Putting my hands together I start to channel my chakra 

“wood-style: deep forest emergence”

And just like that in a couple of seconds, a forest emerges from the ground and giant vines start to spread and cover the part of the forest that was burned completely replacing it, but then my clone disappears.

“oww”

She cries out as the sudden disappearance of my clone caused her to fall on her butt and I also hit the ground as I fall on my knees, it seems doing three different Jutsu that cover half a forest is quite tiring or they at least exhaust the magic my body was absorbing all this time. It seems that I should be careful and don’t use jutsu that exhaust my magic faster than my body can absorb.

“Yuki” 

“Huh”

“My name is Yuki”

“Oh, and my name is Cecilia Dey Celestine, nice to meet you”

Cecilia as she stood up and walked up to me and offers her hand to help me up and I take it

“So, you’re a noble”

I say as I dust my clothes off these are the only clothes, I have can’t let them be dirty.

“yes”

“Okay so which way do we need to go to get you home”

“No need to get me home, I just need to get to the free city of adventurers that’s where I was going before so I just need you to get me there”

Cecilia says in a tone that makes the conversation seems like a business transaction, she is not even gonna ask about what just happen she even said “impossible” during it all that, what gives isn’t she curious?

“oh and also once you escort me there would you be willing to be my personal guard the pay is quite good”

She says as she looks at the new part of the forest that was added by me just a few minutes ago

“I’ll think about it,  and what did you mean when you said impossible earlier”

“oh that well you see this forest is between the free city and the kingdom of celestine and because of that merchants and adventurers have tried to burn it down or clear it but the trees were saturated with magic power making it difficult to burn or cut down but you managed to burn it down not only that but you extinguished the fire and created another forest to replace the burnt part, I doubt there are many people who can accomplish that”

Oh, wow so I’m quite op in this world and I haven’t even used mangekyo Sharingan or the rinnegan yet, with my kind of power a harem shouldn’t be difficult to get, yeah right this isn’t an anime I doubt that many girls would be willing to share the same guy assuming this world is a fantasy world then polygamy maybe a thing here but it still brings complications and not everyone is gonna be happy. I won’t try to make a harem if it happens then cool but if it doesn’t meh fuck it, one girl is enough.

“I see, alright then let’s go

“Okay then we just have to… ah wait I have to look for something”

She says as she starts to look for something, maybe it’s the old man’s remains or something.

Meanwhile in the Free city

In the  city is  a certain two-story building in that building that is seemingly made of stone rather than wood different from the usual wood houses there is  a room that looks like the office of a noble, a big burly man with arms as big as tree trunks and a bald head with three claw marks that are parallel to each other, the man has a clean mustache and beard that moves when he talks

“Are all civilians evacuated?”

“it's only been 5 minutes since we got the report  but since a stampede happens occasionally here the citizens are used to it and everything is proceeding smoothly so it should be done quickly”

In this building, this man is sitting with three individuals that are wearing varying pieces of armor. The one who answered is the one wearing armor covering the top half of his body while in the lower half he isn’t wearing much armor only some shin guards. The three people talking to the guild master are the 3 S rank adventures, they are here discussing a strategy for the incoming monster stampede or rather they just finished and are now doing a checklist, it wasn't a strategy since everything is preplanned in case of a monster stampede.

“Are all B rank and above adventures present and accounted for?”

“They should be arriving one by one since they got the notifications on the guild card”

This time a feminine voice spoke coming from a woman wearing a mage’s hat and wearing purple robes with some golden patterns that are located in the sleeves and go up to the collar of the robe. Her face is obscured by the hat and the only thing visible are her pink lips that have a slight gloss to them possibly done by lipstick

“Did the scouts come back yet”

“ *yawn* They should be arriving any minute with the latest update on the monster’s position and distance”

A tall man answers this time he is wearing plain leather armor with a sword at his hip, black  messy hair and brown eyes with dark circles below them showing fatigue, and his eyes keep opening and closing as if he is sleepy

*knock knock* 

“enter”

The door is open and a blonde-haired youth enters the room

“GUILD MASTER THE FIRE HAS BEEN EXTINGUISHED!!!”

“hmm I see… wait WHAT!!!”
