Chapter 17: Contract part 2

The Dragon lasted precisely for an impressive 45 minutes before it gave up pretty persistent if I say so myself because of the amount of pain caused by both the different flames on all fronts physically, spiritually, and mana itself burning. It forged a summoning contract with me and took on its human form which was six feet tall and had obsidian slit eyes with the inside of the slit silver which had a natural intellectual gleam, and had the same color scheme for the hair, horns, and the Tail, and muscular curves. Not what I was expecting, Still I gave a potion of Supreme healing made with Wood-Dragon blood to recover. 

As it turns out this Dragon is the current ruler here sent by the dragon council from a Dragon realm as sort of training her primary duties were to Guard the Dragon Gate and try to evolve a few wyverns into True Dragons. To evolve a wyvern into True Dragons many requirements were given them different options according to their requirements such as age, base stats, and affinity, and external factors such as changing seasons, celestial bodies affecting their biology the type of mana in the environment, etc. There are two ways for a Wyvern to evolve if recessive blood awakens in them and they train or if a Summoner raises it. The Type of Dragon which the wyvern will eventually grow into is based on many factors such as mana source and its skills and affinity. Sometimes a mutation occurs causing a rare variant of Dragon to form for eg having two mana sources, special skills, growing six wings, etc. Variants are outcasts among Dragons but if one is powerful enough he is accepted and efforts are put to preserve his mutations in the form of his bloodline. This happens because variants have features that are newly evolved and if not properly trained then they become a liability rather than a strength. I struck a deal with Vergil in which I will be given wyverns of my choosing and I will be rewarded with goodies from the Dragon realm and a chance to visit the Dragon realm if raise exceptional Dragons. I guess this is a side quest to unlock a Dragon Realm. Got a Hundred Wyverns because very few can Successfully Evolve into True Dragons some are bound by their Potential and more then half of them are going to Evolve into other Dragon Subclass.
