Noah’s mind was filled with a myriad of thoughts as he gradually understood the situation around him, putting together the many pieces of information that the Sword Emperor was throwing out as he created a larger picture.
It seemed like he wasn’t alone in trying to prevent the apocalypse, beings like Traverser and this Sword Emperor existing who also had the same goal!
To further this goal, Traverser had joined him and pledged to help in any way he could, while this Sword Emperor was an old monster that had a supposed prophecy passed down by a being he called his Master...this being somehow foretelling that someone like Noah would appear in the future.
This alone made Noah’s mind buzz as he wondered what type of Dao or unique power that being cultivated to be able to see something like that, and what truly happened with the Sages and Great Sages that caused the separation of the Dark Universe from the Primordial Cosmos.
He couldn’t help but ask.
"Who exactly is this master you keep on referring to?"
The Illusory figure glanced at Noah as their starry eyes moved, their dominant voice ringing out once more.
"My Master was the Great Sage that stood at the forefront of the battle against the nearby powers from the Primordial Cosmos that aimed for our Cosmic Treasure, the one that also knew what would happen when they cut off our Dark Universe from its home. But he did this because he saw that it was the only way to grant us time...where he even sacrificed his life and the life of all living Sages to cut us off and give us a few tens of thousands of years where we were waiting for a single being to rise."
RUMBLE!
"Even the maniacs of the Spirit Race do not know this secret, Master being the only one that knew and passed it down to his disciples. Otherwise...they would have not so recklessly let you go in the Primal Winged Expanse. This is because you are the bane of what they stand for...you are the supposed being that would connect us back to the Primordial Cosmos and stand to protect this Universe."
"Whether that being truly is you, we have to test and affirm with full certainty. Your power at the rank of Entity is not enough to stand against the Spirit Race and obtain the other 2 Ruination Cores as their strength is unfathomable! Let us see if you are truly the being we have been waiting for...climb through my Immemorial Sword Formation and defeat my Sword Kings. If you can truly assimilate their strength and rise in strength to approach Sage...I have no problem handing you the Ruination Core in my hands!"
...!
Noah felt his heart beat faster as this truly wasn’t a situation he expected.
He didn’t have to slaughter his way through an Ancient Power as this time around, he was mingling with beings that knew of the apocalypse to come and actually wanted to prevent it.
But they had to have assurances that they weren’t giving away their supreme treasures to some weakling as this Sword Emperor had chosen a unique way to go about it...by creating a dungeon!
What was a dungeon?
In Noah’s Homeworld and the Beast World, dungeons were widespread as the Origins of beasts were used to serve as the mobs within, everytime they were defeated leaving behind a portion of their origin to the victor as they gradually lost their power and sense of being.
Their origins could be replenished with the input of essence as overtime, they lost all of their identity and simply became mindless origin machines that acted as puppets within a dungeon. In the past, the Spiritual Land of the Beast World had also created a dungeon for the test Noah took before he became its master- where the Emperor Penguin, Polar Bear, and other Spiritual Land beasts were used as the mini bosses in the dungeon.
The dungeons were unique spatial realms where those connected to the dungeons did not truly die...only losing a portion of their origin as their souls also received immense damage from the pseudo-death!

This was exactly what the Sword Emperor had done. The so called formation he had set up...was a dungeon that had 50 Planets interconnected, each one acting as its own level as it held a varying amount of Entities as mini bosses!
"..."
Noah was breathless as he affirmed this by glancing at the planet he was on with eyes of truth.
[First Floor of the Immemorial Sword Dungeon] :: The first floor of a dungeon created for a unique purpose. A single Entity has to be defeated on this floor before the challenger can step on the runic magic circle and be teleported into the 2nd floor...
The fantastical reality really was so as Noah shook his head incredulously, looking towards the illusory figure of the Sword Emperor with a difficult expression.
He had expected an enemy when he came, but unexpectedly found something entirely different!
RUMBLE!
He expressed his thanks in the only way that would reach the magnanimous Sword Emperor, his body beginning to bubble with power as he would take this pie that was falling out of the sky and take huge bites out of it.
He gave a nod of respect to the Sword Emperor.
"I will thank you in advance for this opportunity!"
The figure of the Sword Emperor nodded with melancholy as he began to disappear.
"Traverser has no role to play in this Formation, and he will simply be watching the scenes playing out like many others. Prove to us that you truly are the being we are waiting for."
WAP!
The illusory figure disappeared as on the barren planet- on the first floor of the Immemorial Sword Dungeon, only Noah and a single Entity was left.
The hairs on Noah’s head began to dance wildly as they focused on the Arch Human stroking his sword with a sad expression.
The sword in his hands seemed to be humming a tune, where with every passing second the shocking aura it released only became more and more powerful. The Entities, or as the Sword Emperor referred to them, the Sword Kings- would not lay down their lives easily as they knew with their defeat, their origin and soul would be heavily injured as their battle power would be greatly reduced!
So Noah would have to put in some work if he wanted to defeat these Entities that were fanatics of a Grand Dao of the Sword as he advanced through a one of a kind dungeon.
A dungeon made just for him.
Filled with Entities proficient in the Grand Dao of the Sword that he could defeat for Dao and Assimilation Crystals, Skill Points, and a myriad of other loot.
It was something out of his wildest dreams as he couldn’t help but let out a bellow of happiness!
"OOOOOH!"
RUMBLE!
