Chapter 23: Author’s corner

Hello hello! This is the author here! Thank you for making it this far, finish with the first Arc, the Organization Arc!

The next Arc will be calls Las Vegas, which focuses on Silla. Athen's will be down the line.

Now, for some character creation process. I will start with our protagonist, Charlotte Silvi!

Admittedly, I created Charlotte first before the world building (A fairly bad idea). The concept was "What if all of humanity was a single being?", which lead me to do research about the Akashic Records. I know it's not just the records of humanity, but I made it so because reasons. 

For her name, Charlotte, it's associated with the word "Freedom", hence the "Freedom" in the title. It's also the feminine form of Charles according to my research, which ties back to Charles Darwin, where the story started.

Her surname, Silvi, have to sources, Silver (original, I know *sarcasm*), and Sylveon, the flesh ribbons Pokemon. Silver because it's precious (like Charlotte), and has mystical powers in folklore, being the "Incorruptable Pure Pureness" metal. And Sylveon, because under all of it's cuteness, you get a horrifying dragon slaying flesh ribbons monster.

I image Charlotte look like a kid, naive and not knowing much about the world (and the two people asigned to her are either terrible or unstable). A symbol of purity to an extend.

For the setting, like I said, I made Charlotte before the world. It was hard to put Charlotte in a normal setting, with family and all, everything would go out of control very fast and complicated. So for the sake of my own sanity, the only choices were to either put her on an uninhabited island, or an SCP inspired organization. Take a guess which one I chose. And it's fun to write Charlotte interacting with other characters.

I have two main POVs, from Charlotte's and others'. Charlotte's POV shows her wonders, curiosity of a child like she supposed to, innocent and naive. For the others' POV, I depicts Charlotte as a monster in the form of a child, creepy, and cruel (not that I haven't showed how selfish she is already, but hey, kids as selfish little shits).

 

For the Akashic Records, I based them around the DnD classes the most. Because I'm a DnD fan and forever DM.

Reverie is Artificier and Warlock. What it can do is a surprise for later.

Survive, the classic duo of Rogue and Fighter. Dodging and dealing good constant amount of damage, pretty basic.

Euphoria is the combination of Bard and Berserker, a Bardserker if you will. Let your imagination do the work~

The fourth one is Cleric and Paladin. Again, let your imagination runs wild~

I will take a break for a short bit, maybe one or two weeks. My university forced the students to learn martial arts as P.E, and music, on top of studying. My uni is weird.
