“Very brave, aren’t we?! Answer me! Weren’t you brave?!” Lu Yao throws a cup at Wei Zhuo, who sidesteps and dodges.

Lu Yao yells, “bravely dodging, huh?!”

“‘Pa,” Wei Zhuo tries to dissuade Lu Yao from actually lifting a table next, “it’d hurt.”

“Oh?! You know you get hurt? Then why did you try to throw away your life like that?!” Lu Yao points his finger right on Wei Zhuo’s nose, “tell me. What am I going to do if you died? What was Mr Cheng Zhaoci to do?! Hah?!”

Wei Zhuo does not dare make any response. He already got a sound beating from his granddad. Of course, he didn’t retaliate, but even for him, a grade S shemale, a pummeling from the legendary warrior of the insectoids is still quite painful.

Lu Yao chastises Wei Zhuo loudly some more, and when he finally leaves, he warns the guards posted outside again and again, that not even a male coming to plead should Wei Zhuo be released.

The guards really are in shock, too – so it turns out it actually was a male aboard that mysterious spaceship? They all watched the livestream – just before it was cut off, Wei Zhuo’s mecha embraced another unknown mecha and was backing away.

But before that, that black mecha actually slapped Wei Zhuo. It was a mecha slapping a mecha, but it’s unimaginable a shemale would not fight back getting a slap on the face.

Therefore, insectoids speculated that Wei Zhuo’s dad or some other close relative was inside; this got ruled out when amateur detectives revealed his dad passed away when he was young, and his granddad was still on the Capital planet. Thus, the only possible insectoid would be his xiongzhu.

Which isn’t any less believable, to be honest. A male in a mecha? Going to help his shemale in the heat of battle? Naaah. Many others are suggesting it might be a superior in the army; even grade S shemales have to obey command, and they probably would stay still and take a slap if it was from a superior.

Everyone thought case closed, except for the shemale soldiers of the makeshift battlefield command.

They and the Marshal himself were witnesses to an unknown, never-before-seen black mecha flying into space!

No one has ever seen that mecha anywhere.

So the Grand Marshal’s warning – can only be further proof of the hypothetical male.

Wei Zhuo can’t help but sigh in relief when his granddad finally leaves. Though, that isn’t much consolation when he thinks about how early he had to leave. He doesn’t know if Cheng Zhaoci’s anger has subsided yet. His granddad also didn’t tell him how long he’ll stay in confinement for.

Sitting on his bed, he opens his holodeck – the Internet is blocked off entirely in the room, but he can still type documents.

How best to show a sincere, apologetic attitude? Write a critical self-reflection.

He lists his wrongs one by one, and apologises for each and every one of them. He must pour his genuine heart out in each word. That is a given! He has deeply ruminated and understood his mistakes!

“My dear… xiongzhu,” reads Wei Zhuo as he types. It doesn’t feel very affectionate, though, so he opens another screen which displays the selfie of him and Cheng Zhaoci – the one that Meng Yuele thought depicted a kidnapping in progress perpetrated by Cheng Zhaoci.

Wei Zhuo thinks it was a really good photograph, though. He moves his hand to enlarge and enhance Cheng Zhaoci’s face, so that it fills up the whole screen area. Satisfied, he stops pawing at it and continues his reflection, “I apologise to you as the heavy weight of guilt weighs on my being. I am most acutely aware of the pain my actions have inflicted on you, which has left me deeply ashamed and nervous… Oh, this should be ‘apprehensive’ instead…”

Every few sentences he writes, he’d glance over at the photograph. A few more words, and another look.

Cheng Zhaoci, unaware his embarrassing photograph is currently being used in aid of repentance, runs into Lu Yao, “grandpa.”

“Xiao-Ci,” Lu Yao is smiling, but it doesn’t exactly feel too genuine, “grandpa is really happy to see you still running and jumping around. Yes.”

Cheng Zhaoci “…”

There’s something in the atmosphere…
And there is. Lu Yao’s face turns aggrieved in no time, “are you now clearly percipient to the dangers of a male barging into an active battlefield?”

He knew it! Cheng Zhaoci shrinks a little. Lu Yao really can be terribly imposing when he needs to, “it-it was… Wei Zhuo…”

“He won’t have died! He definitely figured out what was going on already. He’d be hurt, but quite likely no more than in the last few battles he’s fought in. It would have served a good lesson,” Lu Yao is harrumphing.

“I-I was Awakening. You know. My head wasn’t thinking straight,” Cheng Zhaoci switches to another excuse – a 100% true one, at least.

Still, it feels terribly like a child desperately trying to weasel out of a parent’s – Lu Yao’s – wrath.

Fortunately, Lu Yao is receptive to this excuse. His tone softens, “definitely don’t do such dangerous deeds again, alright?”

“Got it, got it,” Cheng Zhaoci is nodding his head like a drinking-bird toy, doing his best to look cute and harmless, “so granddad, Wei Zhuo…”

“He’s confined pending investigation. No visitors allowed,” Lu Yao is adamant in this.

“Also, the President called. ‘When you’re done, call me back.’ He has something important to discuss with you,” he changes the topic away from Wei Zhuo entirely.

Cheng Zhaoci “… uh, understood.”

He can’t exactly stand up to granddad when he’s rightfully angry like this either, in spite of his generally easygoing attitude. It’s really scary!

Meanwhile, it turns out the President is calling to discuss the topic of revealing his identity.

Bai Jiawen is convinced this is the perfect timing, with the discussion of the mysterious black mecha that strode in to save the day still raging online, and Cheng Zhaoci being BombInMyPants himself, too.
