Regardless, Cheng Zhaoci still provides Zhou Xiaobao his own analysis of ‘dog blood‘ plot points.

If his drawing quality is good, he’ll be able to enjoy a wave of popularity for a while. After the wave, though, his comic might also serve as a lesson in logical thinking, with all the bugs and plot holes meticulously analysed before finally receiving comments like ‘I have no idea why I would have ever liked it.’

Honestly, not the most positive message an author can receive.

Zhou Xiaobao does not seem to mind, though, “I don’t mind those, but… when I’m designing my characters, Cheng-ge, can you have a look at them?”

“Sure,” Cheng Zhaoci ruffles Zhou Xiaobao’s head, “you can do it!”

Zhou Luoluo seems utterly confused, can? Can what? He doesn’t have the slightest idea which part about that story works.

Seemingly noticing his confusion, Cheng Zhaoci explains with a smile, “that comic will mostly target young demis and shemales. Males won’t be interested.”

Zhou Luoluo still cannot understand, but he does trust Cheng Zhaoci. Maybe, perhaps, possibly, Cheng Zhaoci is correct?

Though shemales and demis? They really like those? He thinks he won’t be able to shake off the idea that they’re masochistic if they do respond positively.

After that, Cheng Zhaoci sees the Zhou brothers off. He still needs to get his storyboarding done.

While he’s figuring out the details of his story, Zhou Xiaobao sends him a message. He’s got the summary down.

[He, a normal, typical demi, working part-time at a bar for a living, ends up meeting Him.
He, the most desirable bachelor of all the shemales and demis of the world. He’s cold, he’s lonesome, but a drunken accident, brought Him and Him together…]

Woah, the feel is there, the feel is overwhelming! All the ‘he’s have Cheng Zhaoci dizzy, and also, slightly nostalgic.

Ah, the taste of days gone.

Cheng Zhaoci quickly cheers Zhou Xiaobao on. He’s going to be the future godfather of ‘dog blood,’ after all, being someone who could hammer out a story of contrivance upon contrivance from simple disconnected phrases he uttered just earlier.

Zhou Xiaobao says he doesn’t plan to start immediately, though. Instead, he’s going to learn more about the other parts of creating a comic, by continuing to be an assistant to Cheng Zhaoci.

Meanwhile, Cheng Zhaoci sent a message to Wei Zhuo; he won’t be able to make it to the military base today.

He thought the story would come about easily, but after Zhou Xiaobao sent him that summary, dog blood is all that fills his brain.

After a nostalgic session recalling all those plot holes he’s read in the past, he found his spark of inspiration gone. Yes, he has been taken by writer’s block.

Ah, what a tragedy.

Of course, tragedy begets tragedy.

If he simply has writer’s block… Looking at the time, Cheng Zhaoci would still be able to make it picking up Wei Zhuo off work.

Unfortunately for him, he runs into an unwanted insectoid along the way.

“Yo, little ugly thing. Fancy meeting you here,” Jin Yue greets him with a smile. There’s no coincidence about this at all; Jin Yue has been waiting here for a while.

When Cheng Zhaoci is going to pull the same trick again – turn around running and screaming, something familiar happens.

Cheng Zhaoci didn’t even see how Jin Yue moved, but there’s a hand on the back of his neck. Jin Yue is right behind him, “what’chu running for?” Jin Yue looks Cheng Zhaoci up and down, “Mr Cheng Zhaoci, is it?” With an emphasis on ‘Mr.’ Cheng Zhaoci has goosebumps all over.

Damn it! He was too shaken seeing his late father’s cijun that day! He completely forgot to tell Wei Zhuo about Jin Yue!

The hand on his neck has Cheng Zhaoci conclude that, as a grade A shemale, Jin Yue could possibly silence him forever before he could even mutter a syllable for help. He chooses strategic compliance for now.

Jin Yue has always given off an insane aura. It looks like there’s nothing he would not do.

Jin Yue seems to find Cheng Zhaoci forcing himself to stay calm but still having trembling palms intriguing, “you’re really afraid of me.”

“Duh, would you be scared if I have a gun to your head?” Then Cheng Zhaoci immediately regrets his slightly snarky tone, and says, “even if you’re angry, don’t kill me here. It’s for your own good. Killing males is a bad idea on the Capital planet.”

Jin Yue, with his faked, slightly less aggressive appearance, actually does not look that insane, when he says, “you’re really interesting, you know.”

“You honour me; you’re far more interesting,” Cheng Zhaoci replies humbly. It’s the truth, though. He does find what Jin Yue does… odd, at best. In other words, not uninteresting.

Jin Yue’s mood improves. The male hasn’t changed much after coming from the landfill planet. He hasn’t become arrogant and ignorant after coming to the Capital planet.

Well, one only needs to look at his comics to draw the same conclusion. Then he asks, “say, what if I took you away to my group of pirates as a clown?”

“… Then the Squadron Leader would probably want to fashion your head into a football,” Cheng Zhaoci points behind Jin Yue, “look, he’s right there.”

Jin Yue turns around by reflex; Wei Zhuo is not there, but a certain male in his grasp fiercely struggled for a moment. He failed to run away, though.

Some insectoids nearby seem alerted, though. Cheng Zhaoci also has rather eye-catching appearance, so they are looking at Jin Yue suspiciously, possibly wondering if he’s mistreating a male.

“What’chu looking at? Haven’t seen a dad discipline his children in the past?! If your family’s male falls in love with another male, you’d be no better!” Jin Yue actually pulls off a rather convincing performance.

At least, convincing enough for the insectoids nearby.

Because of insectoid biology not showing signs of aging until well over 160 years old, there are quite a number of dad and male son pair that resemble brothers instead.

And in fact, if it’s something like a demi and his shemale son, that dad might even look younger than his own son.

Cheng ‘Homosexual’ Zhaoci has failed to escape, and so completely peaces out, “what are you going to do?”

“This is not a good place to talk. Let’s sit down somewhere?” Jin Yue looks up and down Cheng Zhaoci, “you look like your legs are about to give out.”
