As I look at my driver's side mirror and see the face of a very upset superheroine whose been chasing me for the last ten minutes, I can't help but to think that I'm not paid enough to deal with this shit, even with the bonuses that I'm receiving from both Lex Luthor and the state of New York. Seriously, what made me think that it would be a good idea to tow Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet? Oh yeah, the money and rare metals did. I kind of need them for one of my projects, I mean I went after the Batmobile since the Penguin was willing to get me all the raw silver I needed at the time...

Seriously, with all of the Boons that I recieved with my Reincarnation, who would have thought I would end up with such a mundane job of towing vehicles that violate traffic laws? Oh yeah, I did. I didn't want to deal with all of the world ending bullshit heroes have to deal with and while I'm a simple, self serving asshole, I don't want to have my teeth punched into my throat every other week playing Villain. So, I got a real job that paid well and started towing wrecks and normal cars that overstayed on their parking meters. Well, until I saw the bounty on the Teen Titan's T-Car and decided to go for it... Everything started going down hill from there, I swear...
I'm still not sure that I made the right decision to go and tow that vehicle, but I really needed the money to build my Workshop. After all, what is a Nasuverse Magus without his Workshop? Even if it could barely be called a Workshop, both the adoptive father and the wannabe Hero himself Shirou Emiya still had a Magus Workshop! Honestly, I still remember exactly how I died, exactly how I recieved every advantage I now have and exactly how I ended up in this area in the Omniverse. Quite simply put, with my effectively perfect memory and on the scale of Everything that there is out there, it might as well have happened yesterday.

I was ran over by everybody's favorite Truck-kun and ended up in the afterlife. Specifically, I ended up in my world's Well of Souls: it is the waiting room before the first proper step of the Cycle of Reincarnation, where you get to meet those you lost and look over all the good and evil you have done through out your lifetime. This protostep gave me the ability to feel the souls of those around me and effectively granted me a perfect memory by allowing me to be able review my own experiences by simply looking at the information that has been recorded on my own soul. It was also here that I began to fear the first step of the cycle proper. The first step of the Cycle of Reincarnation it the River of Oblivion, it strips you of your memories because after losing all of your memories, you'll no longer try to resist and remain yourself.

I feared little else in my life outside of having my mind being messed with, so the River of Oblivion was quite literally my fear made reality since it stripped you of yourself in order to stop you from fighting against the Cycle, to not fight against becoming someone else. Honestly, I don't know how I managed to resist this step, even as I watched everyone I ever knew accept their fate after sitting in the Well of Souls for who knows how long before we all entered the River of Oblivion. As far as I know, I did nothing but review my memories time and time and time and time again as I slowly passed through this step.
Luckily, I didn't get stuck since the other souls had dragged me alongside of them into the next step known as Sinking in Loss. The second step, where all supernatural powers are stripped. After all, when you stop fighting you begin to sink, you'll continue to flow along the bottom of the River of Oblivion against the stones which will wear away at your soul which will wear all of your supernatural abilities away. I had no supernatural abilities, so this step did nothing to me, but it granted me the ability to feel these supernatural abilities and obtain a instinct when it comes to them. Now, after the second step comes the third, Purification in Evaporation, all of the power that was stripped in the previous step makes a soul lighter and causes it to rise. But the power that was stripped is not wasted, it is instead recycled to repair any spiritual damage left on the purified souls and the Greater Omniverse at large. I had no supernatural abilities, my soul had suffered no damage and yet, it was much larger thanks to retaining all of the information from its' previous life. So, I absorbed a significant amount of all of that energy alongside all of the information that was contained within it and it was used to strengthen my soul to its' limits and give me the useful ability to understand and speak any language.
Now, after Purification in Evaporation, comes the Waiting in Clouds, which is another non-step that comes at the peak of the third step, but before fourth, where undamaged blank souls are now in the "sky" of the omniverse, ready and waiting for Reincarnation. Here, I, even if it was just barely, for a mere second, I saw Everything that there was in the Omniverse. Even if it was tainted by my mortal mind interpreting what I saw in order to ever so just barely be able comprehend it. I saw that endless forest where I was just a single drop of water that landed on a bee, which was actually a Random Omnipotent Being capturing a human's soul. This leads us to the very last step of the Cycle, the Rain of Rebirth. From the "sky" you simply fall into the Greater Omniverse and randomly end up in some world!

But, instead of randomly ending up in some world, one of the many Random Omnipotent Beings that exist in the "skys" of the Omniverse plucked my soul out of the sky just like the bee I saw earlier did to another human soul. Then, without saying a single word to me, it had me flip a coin before having me spin an enormous roulette wheel three times, handed me a tablet and set me on my way after I filled in this Create Your Own Adventure-like spreadsheet.

From what I understand after the fact, heads would have the Random Omnipotent Bastard simply devour my soul and tails would have him have me spin a wheel that would determine the world I would end up going to and the Boons I would recieve once I got there. After all, no one who gets ran over by Truck-kun actually reincarnates without receiving some kind of cheat and the Random Omnipotent Being's divine domain's were chaos and luck, so I spun some wheels while instinctually understanding that this is not the first time the Random Omnipotent Being has done this. Feeling the history of those who came before me when I touched the wheel. Apparently, people end up turning into dragons pretty regularly. But, in my case, I have ended up receiving something referred to as the Maximized Magus Package as my Boon, instead of becoming a Dragon, before entering one of the versions of the world that acted as the setting for the DC cartoons. It was basically a Create Your Own Adventure spreadsheet and the number of points I started with was determined by my third spin of the wheel.

Honestly, I don't particularly mind not becoming a Dragon because the Maximized Magus Package was stacked and actually provided a significant amount of customization which is something I appreciate. It came with a Physique, a set of Memories, Magical Circuits, a Mystic Code of my choice, a Magic Crest, an Element, some property and an Origin. It also came with something called a Companion Token that I would be able to use in the future. So, after carefully considering every possible combination, I eventually chose the Physique of Souichirou Kuzuki, the memories of Darius Ainsworth, the best Magical Circuits possible that a human could "naturally" have, Hades Klironomia Nanomachines as my Mystic Code, the Absorption Element, an Origin of Severing and Binding with the final choice that effects me personally is receiving a copy of the Emiya Family's Magic Crest after Kiritsugu made his Innate Time Control and having it "transplanted" onto the base of my skull. Then, lastly, I recieved property equal to that of the fake priest Kirei Kotomine. I made sure my choices were carefully balanced according to their cost and benefits and Darius' experiences of taking over people's bodies will make sure that I will grow used to them all rather quickly. Now I can say that I made the right decision in keeping the Maximized Magus Package instead of rerolling and declaring I would like a mulligan. Even if my Magical Circuits have, ever so slightly, declined in quality due to the adjustments that they had to go through in order for me to use Magecraft in worlds that do not have any of the Thaumaturgic Foundations that exist within the Nasuverse or having access to the Root, however indirectly.

Specifically, the adjustments had all of my Magical Circuits take on a rather unique composition, one that allows them to act as their own Thaumaturgic Foundation. This in turn means that, if I was in the Nasuverse, I would be able to pretty much freely use Magecraft without ever worrying about its' potency ever changing due to my location. After all, A normal Magus in the Nasuverse relies on the Thaumaturgic Foundations placed onto the world through long complicated Rituals to act as medium in order to actually effect the world. If I remember the process correctly, a Magus would use their Magic Circuits in order to connect to the Greater Magic Fomula where they would send their Magical Energy alongside a few commands which would activate certain Magecraft spells in the Thaumaturgic Foundation's Greater Magic Formula, the formula that are placed onto Gaia which is what allows those spells to change the world because they are doing so through Gaia who's the "mind" of the world.

Now, my Magical Circuits act as my Thaumaturgic Foundation. They allow me to directly use Magecraft without relying on the Greater Magic Fomula placed on the world and, in turn, allow me to freely use Magecraft where those Greater Magic Fomula do not exist. This would be an incredible advantage in the Nasuverse since you wouldn't be able to seal my ability to use magic unless you made it impossible for me to be able access my Magical Circuits. Magical Circuits that are slightly worse than Ceil's due to the adjustment they went though. Still, I have the same number of Magic Circuits as Barthomeloi Lorelei, one hundred, but not the same quality of Magical Energy that allows her to easily overpower any basic Magecraft to the absolute limits. I also have both the recovery rate and maximum output of McDonell Trambellio Elrod, though I'll admit that I'm lacking the supernatural physical strength that's required to maintain a consistent output for as long as McDonell could. Although, despite lacking his supernatural physical fitness, I'm still at the peak of all baseline humanity. In fact, I am as strong as Hafpor Julius Bjornsson, as fact as Usain Bolt, as durable as Rusty Haight, as flexible as Daniel Browning with all the stamina of Dean Karnazes alongside both the heat resistance of Marshall Ulrich and cold resistance of Ram Barkai. Something only possible thanks to the Klironomia Nanomachines carefully adjusting both my Musculoskeletal and Cardiovascular systems in order to optimize everything. A pleasant side effect considering that I chose Hades Klironomia for their Psuedo-Immortality and the Bonuses they provide to the Reinforcement Magecraft that allow someone to become as strong as a Servant.

All of these extras are just a pleasant surprise since Hades Authority was to dissolve matter into its' base components before restructuring it as he pleased and the Psuedo-Immortality is achieved by perfectly replicating cells through direct Matter Manipulation rather than allowing normal cell division to run its' course. Although, this process is too expensive to function in combat, so it instead purely focuses on maintaining functionality until the battle is over. It does this by holding everything in its' place and protecting vital organs. If a bone breaks, rather than heal it, it braces it and just holds it still in order to maintain its' functionality, if you are stabbed than it just seals the wound to stop bleeding and if a limb is cut off, it reattaches it before filling in what's missing until your are in a safe enough location to focus on actual healing.
Like I said earlier though, the passive effects are pretty nice. As long as I have magical energy and air, then I do no need to eat, drink or sleep. My body no just simply longer produces waste products because the Klironomia breaks them down and repurposes everything that's in my system into what my body actually needs. I age no longer, my muscles never get tired or cramp and I know with some research I can grow even stronger than I am now since I can program the Klironomia to temporarily transmute and transform themselves into pieces of technology. Although, I will admit that I do not know the limits of this ability.

Anyways, stats like these are great considering the fact I also got the memories of Darius Ainsworth, a Magus who has been around for over a thousand years. Now let me repeat myself, I have got all of his memories and Magecraft, not just the Displacement Magecraft he chose to specialize in, but literally all of the Magecraft that he has learned over his very long thousand plus year life as a Magus within the Nasuverse. Something that would have been worth far more than it probably ended up costing me no doubt. After all, Darius Ainsworth knows a bit about every kind of Magecraft that's out there, even if he specialized in Displacement Magecraft.

For example, both the Holy Grail Wars and his Class Cards required knowledge of Spiritual Evocation, he would also need the Peligor's Shell Projection Magecraft for the Include function of those Class Cards. Additionally, his Displacement of momentum used to counter the force behind attacks requires a ridiculous number of calculations that are only possible through the use of Atlas Alchemy's Thought Acceleration and Memory Partition, his Dolls required knowledge of Puppetry and transferring human souls from their corpses into those Dolls required some knowledge of Necromancy. Plus, he has the knowledge of both the Matou and Tohsaka Families' because the night that he caused the sky to go dark killed them and he had the chance to loot their houses! Honestly, if he didn't know so much, it would have meant he wasted his thousand years of life!
Shaking my head in order to clear my thoughts and start focusing on the reality around me, I follow my instincts and quickly turn right, hard, just ever so barely avoiding a golden lasso that almost attached itself to my truck.

"Give me back my jet!"

"It's still unregistered despite the three tickets and six month deadline that was given to you by the state of New York! All you had to do was take advantage of your civilian identity, sign a few papers and donate it to the justice league! But, noooooooo! You couldn't even take advantage of the loopholes put there! Put in place by some of the other heroes and villains taking advantage of their civilian identities."

"I was kind of busy saving the world!"

"That's not my problem! Take it up with the state, pay your tickets and register the vehicle! Even Superman was smart enough to register the Fortress of Solitude with the U.N. after receiving his ninety day notice! He doesn't even have to pay taxes on it or suffer any kind of inspections!"

"Uurrraaaah! You're so damn frustrating!"

"I'm not paid nearly enough to be anything else!"

"Do you even know which laws I violated!?"

"Nope! And I don't need to! The US government has a whole webpage dedicated to super vehicles that they are looking to have possessed! There's a whole list of fines under each vehicle's database entry! It's right under the bounty!"

Then, before I even hear the Amazonian's obviously well thought out response, I finally here a quiet ring tone from beside of me, notifying me that my Mystic Code has finished charging. So, I press a button on the center console of my truck and quickly use the Mystic Code loaded up with Darius Ainsworth's Coordinate Replacement Technique that's on of his Spatial Displacement Magecraft to effectively teleport to my destination; the decommissioned Mitchell Airforce base. After all, you can't just park a jet in a normal repo lot and the museums and stuff are all closed due to the national holiday. I mean, I specifically decided to do this job today for a well thought put reason.

But, after the slightly disorienting shift, I suddenly start feeling rather pleased that I have already told the relevant authorities to wait here for me. There's a presence that I recognize and I can tell it's going to make my day even worse than it already is.
