[Act 9] Easy Orc
[Hero]
} Languages of races that are hostile towards the hero will be automatically translated.
} Experience that you gain from hunting and achievements is greatly diminished!
How nice it would’ve been if the language of friendly species were translated automatically!
It wasn’t because of a one-dimensional reason like I didn’t want to study, but because I didn’t want to stay in a fantasy world for a long time.
“Friend!”
“Human! I am not your friend!”
“The enemy of an enemy is a friend!”
“What nonsense! The orcs’ enemy is a skinny pig! And you are a pig!”
“Haha! Let’s look past those minor issues.”
The language contains the culture of the country and its people.
…I wasn’t saying that because I learned it in my Korean class.
Like there are different dialects in different parts of a country, Western Fantasia uses unique adjectives.
{Slime rank: }
{Goblin rank: lacking, negative.}
{Gnoll rank: average, normal, medium.}
{Orc rank: positive enough.}
{Troll rank: }
{Auger rank: incredible. }
{Dragon rank: impossible, miracle.}
Power levels were compared to monsters in that way.
A weak monster meant one was weak.
A strong monster meant one was strong.
So what was I trying to say?
“Friend!”
It means that orcs are friendly species to the fantasy native and they absolutely cannot be left out.
“Stop! It’s time to stop!”
“You should know how lucky you are. Where else can you find a human friend that can communicate with you this well?”
“Do you think I’m stupid?! Friends don’t use violence!”
“Let’s get past the minor arguments we had before we became friends. Fights create bonds, you know?”
“Argument?! You weren’t a smart pig, but a stubborn one!”
“Haha! Let’s hurry.”
[A certain god asks why you have your spirits back again.]
‘Why, you ask?’
‘It’s because I saw a ray of light in a fantasy world I thought had no hopes and dreams!’
‘The name of the light is ‘orc’.’
‘May the indigenous fantasy pig lead me to the light.’
“I’ll show you the way, but strong pigs like you can’t enter.”
“Why not?”
“I don’t know. It has been like that ever since I was born.”
“How much further do we have to go?”
“It’s in front of you.”
“Um?”
No matter how hard I looked, I couldn’t find any ruins, let alone relics.
‘Did this orc just scam me?’
I thought so as I walked when I felt a strange sensation of my body getting sucked into a vacuum.
‘Just what is this… Oh!’
“Oh? It’s a skinny male pig!”
“The pig is back in the city.”
“It’s a male. Let’s eat it.”
“Haha! Hey, pig! Were you surprised?”
A city of orcs appeared in what was an empty meadow.
It looked almost like a refugee camp. There were several poorly constructed buildings around a giant dolmen relic resembling a Stone Age dolmen.
“…Fascinating.”
‘How did I not see a city this big?’
Transportation? A mirage? Hallucination? Time travel? Postmonition? Hypnosis? Magic?
A fantastical fantasy just happened in a fantasy world.
“Whatever.”
It would be stupid for the human to try to analyze it scientifically.
What was important was that I’d found the City of Orcs and the relic.
“S-smart male pig?! How come you’re still here?!”
My orc friend who’d led me there was appalled.
“What? Am I not allowed to?”
“This is an orc sanctuary that only level 9 and unders can enter! But why are you…”
“Well, of course… That’s because I’m level 1.”
“Liar…!”
I could see why that orc friend had obediently led me there.
“This will be your grave, skinny pig!”
“Male pig! Blame yourself for coming to an orc sanctuary. Haha!”
“Oh! It’s a pig! Today’s gonna be fun. Hehehe.”
Looking down on me for being less than a level 9 human, countless orcs surrounded me.
What a bunch of bullies!
My orc friend cried out.
“N, no! Comrades! Be careful! This pig is diff— oink?!”
“Hahaha! Alright, everyone. Let me pass.”
‘Feel free to block me. I’ll step over you myself.’
[A certain god prays for the souls of countless pigs.]
***
The bastard who acted like a bully in school was no different in the fantasy world.
‘I’ll set you straight!’
Flare!
Oh Hanwoo opened his eyes wide with the fireball magic he prepared while the trustworthy beauties stood on guard.
“Oomph-?!”
“Eek?!”
“Eeek!”
It was entirely different than going against the gnoll they took down earlier.
Pow, pow, pow.
One for each blow.
The muscular slave guarding the piece of trash took down the girls with his bare fists like he was sweeping them with a broomstick.
They weren’t a match at all.
“Sera! Kana! Lusa! I’ll save you!”
[Special]
Oh Hanwoo completed his magic in the short time the ladies bought him.
Shoot-!
A fireball the size of a watermelon hit the slave square in the face.
“Alright…!”
“…Pretty sharp for a level 1 mage. Is this the talent of a Hero?”
“What?!”
Not even a single strand of hair was burnt from the magic as the muscular slave pulled a sword from his waistbelt.
Sling-
“Th-that can’t be…!”
Oh Hanwoo subconsciously took a step back, surprised at the dangerous blade.
‘But I’m the main character…!’
He was supposed to knock down that savage with nothing but brawn and save the beauties in danger with grandiose.
The boy who had been watching laughed his head off.
“Ahahaha! Looks like you can’t believe what’s happening, Oh Hanwoo, but this is a natural outcome, you know.”
“You piece of shit! What tricks did you pull out of your sleeve?!”
“Tricks? There’s no such thing. It’s simple, my slave’s level was just overwhelming higher.”
“Levels are nothing but numbers.”
“Yeah, that’s when it’s only a small difference. But when it gets bigger than 10 levels, you’re not a match.”
Right after the boy acted arrogant…
“Ahhh!”
“Aargh~?!”
“S-stoop-”
In unison, Oh Hanwoo’s slaves started to struggle in pain.
[Slave]
[Slave]
[Slave]
It was because their curses got activated.
The boy spoke on behalf of their master, who was still at a loss for what was going on.
“What are you gonna do, Oh Hanwoo? Looks like your lovely slaves don’t want to die. They went against their master’s orders and gave up fighting.”
“That’s…”
“They just might go mad from the pain if you leave them like this.”
“Sera! Kana! Lusa! You don’t have to fight!”
The girls’ cries quieted down.
And another wave of cries followed after them.
“Kirrk-?!”
Oh Hanwoo rolled over on the dirt ground from getting kicked in the guts by the muscular slave.
“Stop. Let me talk to my friend,” the boy commanded.
“Yes.”
The slave, putting down his sword, obediently backed away.
“Looks like that hurt a lot.”
“Y-you bastard..”
Oh Hanwoo clutched his stomach in pain with both hands.
The boy from his homeland laughed at him as he spoke.
“Oh Hanwoo. I also really enjoy fantasy genres. I just didn’t show it at school.”
“Kirk…”
“But after getting killed by a gnoll three times, I realized… Real fantasy worlds aren’t easy.”
“Ahahaha! That’s because you’re not the main character— argh?!”

Pow!
The boy kicked his laughing friend’s mouth like it was a soccer ball.
Oh Hanwoo’s front teeth broke and his face was covered with blood.
“Was it fun? Spending all day with pretty girls that you’d never be able to talk to on Earth?”
“Eaagh?!”
“Oh! Don’t take it the wrong way. I wasn’t planning to do this since the beginning. I felt a sense of kinship when I ran into you at the slave market. I mean it.”

The boy, taking Oh Hanwoo’s pouch of money and seeing what was inside, looked bewildered.
“I thought you’d have a lot of money since you only bought cheap, low-level slaves, but you used almost all of it in a few days. Just how prodigally have you been living?”
“I used it for them! I don’t like men like you do!”
“…You really are dumb, aren’t you? I can’t believe, after all that, you still don’t get it. Hey, Oh Hanwoo. Why do you think your lovely slaves are so cheap when they’re that pretty?”
“Guess they’re out of their minds.”
“Ahahaha! You’re a real piece of work!”
Laughing hard enough to lean back, the boy kindly explained.
“Low-level slaves are cheap. Their worth goes up a little if their looks and upbringing are extraordinary, but that’s it.”
“What the…”
“At the same price, you can buy strong slaves to steal the weak ones. Like I’m doing right now.”
“What…?”
“Oh Hanwoo. Declare you will hand over your slaves to me. You don’t have to if you want. Slaves without an owner are first come, first serve.”
“You piece of shit..! That’s ridiculous, how could you…!”
“You’ve been talking out of your ass for a while now. Do you really want to die that badly? Or do you want me to cut some of your fingers off? This isn’t a planet that protects outsiders like you.”
“…”
Oh Hanwoo lost everything that day.
…And gained a Blessing.
[Revenge]
***
“Kirk?!”
“Oiink?!”
[A certain god dances with their shoulders to the sound of the orcs’ cries.]
I can’t believe they’re dancing in this chaos! How insensitive of you, god!
The number of orcs coming to kill me didn’t seem to end.
So I killed them harder.
“Jeez! Is this male pig a demon with a pig’s mask?!”
“Demon, my ass. Have you seen yourselves?”
Slash.
I always thought it was odd.
The mercenary guild in the city always requested for orc hunts.
No matter how prolific the orcs were, it could only make sense for the number to decrease when they didn’t have females or a habitat, but the number of orcs didn’t lessen at all.
The reason for that was there.
“Moo~”
“Neigh~”
Who would have guessed the meadow-wandering orcs would have set up a decent farm in the city!
Cows, horses, pigs, sheep, oxen…
Most of them were females raised to birth orcs.
And there were humans, too.
“Eek?! #$ #…!”
“Male pig! I’ll kill this female pig if you don’t stop—”
Stab!
I completely ignored the green pig’s shallow hostage play.
“Do whatever you want.”
[Hero]
I wasn’t a Hero that had to save all of the fantasy natives.
I was an alien tricked by an evil goddess, let alone a Hero. I wasn’t in the place to worry about others.
“…But still.”
At least I could avenge the fantasy natives who lived in agony or died on this land.
Stab! Pow! Stab!
I didn’t hesitate to get rid of every single green pig I could see.
“Kill that male pig…!”
“How is he still so active?!”
“When is he going to tire out?!”
“Attack! Don’t give him a break!”
Sitting on the hopes and dreams that I would tire out, the fantasy pigs came at me without stopping for a breath.
[Outsider]
[Fairy]
They were close to extinction by the time they decided to leave their homes and run.
“You all look down at me too much for being level 1.”
It looked like fantasy monsters had a bad habit of looking down on people with low levels, just like how the gnolls did.
My Curse probably played a role, too.
[Slaughter]
}Friendly races will slightly fear you and find you appalling.
}The chances of them opposing your cruel actions increases a lot.
Thanks to the backlash, the city was nice and clean.
And as if to prove my efforts, my status window changed.
[Name] Kang Hansoo
[Level] 1
[Blessings] Outsider F, Fairy C, Mercenary B
[Curses] Hero E, Slaughter C, Massacre D
[Dividend] 8.83
My Curse got stronger, and another Curse was added.
“God. don’t you think this is too much?”
[A certain god throws a fit that they didn’t do anything.]
“Not you, the Curse.”
[A certain god tilts their head.]
“How can there be a Curse for saving humans that were being bred by pigs? This is way too irrational.”
[A certain god says you should look at it from the orcs’ side.]
“Aha!”
I do deserve the Curse!
Even the effect was extraordinary.
[Massacre]
}Chances of a dead soul you murdered appearing in your dreams increases greatly!
}The nightmares will continue until the dead souls enter nirvana or surrender.
Even the orcs I killed would enter my dreams and haunt me!
It didn’t matter because I never slept, but it was truly a horrific Curse for most humans, who couldn’t control their fatigue.
Anyways, everything would be over once I exterminated all the orcs in the city.
“%#$ #!”
“%@! @#!”
“# % $!”
There were quite a few people gathered in the chaotic plaza, and they tried to talk as soon as they found me.
“…”
But what were they saying? Couldn’t they talk slower?
The fantasy natives I rescued had no consideration for aliens.
So I decided to ignore everything they were saying.
“#! ^$?”
“^$! #$?”
According to my orc friend that introduced me to his hometown, that city had a different entrance and exit.
—The only exit being the dolmen-like relic.
There was no doubt about it since that’s where all of the orcs that ran away from me had gone.
Stop.
I could sense something strong.
“…Is that really an orc?”
All of the orcs in the city were level 9 or below because of the relic’s fantasy effect. That’s why it was nothing but a big ragtag.
…Except for that dude blocking the exit.
“Are you the human who destroyed our base?”
“Oh! You’re not calling me a pig?”
“Answer my question! Human!”
“They wouldn’t move over.”
The fear of death I’d forgotten after destroying the gnoll’s habitat slowly crept back in.
That orc was stronger than me—I could sense it.
“Is that the only reason you massacred three hundred thousand orcs?!”
“So it was three hundred thousand…”
No wonder it took so long.
[A certain god talks knowingly that it was about that much.]
“I am the Great Orc Guardian. I will not let out a single human who knows of this place!”
“You’re a guardian?”
“That’s right!”
“Nice! I’m starting to see hopes and dreams!”
“What…?”
It was great news.
If the guardian protecting the relic was alive and well, that meant the tomb raiders with a hero’s mask hadn’t made a visit yet.
The remaining problem?
Woosh-
My power, imbued into the blue cutter, drew into a spiral and swirled.
“Move.”
Dear god! Please let me be a righteous tomb raider!
