My eyelids began to flash with the radiant light of day as a far too familiar feeling came over me. My eyelids have been glued together and in a futile attempt, I would attempt to flicker my eyes open. After failing to do so, I brushed my eyes with the back of my thumbs. The stickiness faded away as I began to finally part my eyes open. I noticed the air making its way into the room and brushing my hair and skin. I wanted to yawn but restrained the urge.
"I rested well."
I said as I stepped out of bed and marched over to the water cooler. I drank an entire cup of water as I glanced outside the window. There were bright and tranquil days awaiting me outside. Days that were calling upon me to begin my arc in this world.
After finishing the cup of water, I decided to take another sip only to notice that it was empty.
"Ah."
I refilled it halfway and as I did so I glanced back at my phone.
'I should put my phone in my inventory.'
I thought before finishing my cup and placing it there.
"Now it's time to begin this wonderful day!"
I said as I began to feel my drowsiness quivering from my body, as I felt increased immersed in the day as the sun began to befall my light snow-like skin. As I made my way outside, I began to remember.
"I should go and refill my cooler!"
I said before returning back to my house and grabbing the cups and buckets from the cooler. After doing that I made my way back out and began glancing at the sun. Mornings here are a lot brighter and have more sunlight than I'm used to. But, that's not going to dissuade me from living out a wonderful day!
With a heart full of passion and love, I began my sprint toward the green forest setting. Toiling over the savage vines, clustered pebbles, and large trees, I soon made my way back to the cold spring. With the waterfall above the spring making that iconic crashing sound against the rocks. It was like waves against cliffs. Though, technically those two things could be considered the same thing, but of a completely different scale.
Tugging my breath into my being, I began to pull myself into the proper state of mind.
'Satsuki, do not have fear. You are simply going in the water to begin your wonderful day! Nothing more!'
I told myself as I finally muscled the courage out of myself as I began to undress and leap into the water. I threw myself into the liquid azures, with a gentle splash of water falling after me. Despite my worst fears, the water wasn't as cold as I thought it would be. I thought it would have been so cold that it would have frozen me, and turn me into ice cream!
I shook my head.
"Thankfully, I'm not an ice cream."
I said before I slowly made my way over to the other side of the spring, where a number of rocks had laid. The moment, I had made my way over there, I began to notice that the tugging of the water. The stream seemed to tug itself to the side as if there had been a slight ramp off of the springs. Without a single thought running through my head, but a head full of curiosity, I would begin to check this location out.
I swam my way over to the side, before peering ov-
I suddenly fell out of the stream and collapsed into another stream.
"That hurts."
I said as I began to bring myself out of pain and glanced towards this new area. It was a mystical and tranquil location. It was one area that seemed to bear home to an entire realm of blueberry bushes. Seeing this many bushes made a dramatic shock run throughout my body, it almost paralyzed me in place. But as I was about to turn numb, a smile formed on my face as I came to a great realization.

"I can use this spot to harvest berries!"
I said in shock before rushing over to the bushes and plucking the blueberries from their stems.
"Don't mind me. I'm just getting my breakfast, lunch, and dinner..."
I paused completely.
"Wait. That's kind of depressing..."
I said before continuing to harvest the berries and putting them into my inventory. It was a matter of time before I would harvest all the berries here.
"Wow, there were a lot of these berries. I wonder how many of them I have in my inventory. Inventory."
I stared at my inventory as an expression of grief and shock flashed across my face.
"No! No way! I already have 112 of them!? How!? I knew I was going to harvest a lot of berries there, but I didn't expect I would have gotten to the triple digits! I thought I would be getting 40 berries at most!"
I said as I began ruffling my head. Despite what medical and psychological experts say about this phenomenon, there exists a rare condition called "berry fear syndrome" where in which a little girl, just like me gets traumatized for collecting so many berries. And I was the first person to ever suffer from this issue.
