Chapter 20: Oh It’s You Again

I gradually made my way up the wooden stairs as I began to look upon the land that had laid below and to the side of the steps that I had erected. 

'I should be about the end of my stairs.'

I thought before glancing ahead of myself and staring ahead to the spring that had laid before me.

"I'm finally back to civilization!"

I said with a roar and brought my hands up in the air in celebration of my great return.

"It's so good being back here! Rather being down there..."

I said as I remarked and took a sharp glance toward the bottom. I shivered slightly before my mind drifted off.

"Now that, I am back. I wonder what I should be doing today."

I said as I walked on the edge of the spring where the rock formations had been. At the last bit, I jumped off and my shoes met the ground once again. 

"I should probably make my way back to my house before I decide on going on some great quest to another world or something."

I nodded with my comment and began walking back through the forest. Pass all the green pines, berry-less bushes, and vines before staring at some kind of golden plant that had appeared before me. It was odd and appeared like nothing that I had ever seen before.

"What is this?"

I said as I came closer to the sunlight-colored plant and saw a golden glimmer in its bud. Now that I was thinking of it, it seemed to have reminded me of some kind of flower with convex petals that seemed to open out like an umbrella. 

I stared at the plant for a few more moments before leaves began to crunch behind me.

"What do we have here?"

"Who!?"

I turned around in shock and turned to her. She looked completely different from the first time around. She greeted me with a smile for the first time and seemed to have a light blush coming over her face. She wore a brown jacket and some kind of black dress shirt under that. Now that I was thinking of it...

'Her chest is massive! Is this what an anime girl's chest is like!? But seeing the real thinking in person is kind of odd! I would have first expected it to be more like t-'

"Hey. Stop staring at me. It's kind of uncomfortable."

"Uh. Sorry. You just look good today, so I couldn't stop looking at you."

A blush quickly grew on her face and she turned away.

"Feel free with saying that, but you're not going to trick me with those kind words."

"Why would I even trick you? After all, what would I even have to gain from you?"

"Right. Right. You should first explain to me what you are doing out here."

She said as glanced back and looked over at me to see the golden plant.

"Ah! A Raffensweth!"

"A what?"

I said in confusion as I tilted my head in confusion.

'What did she even say?'

I thought to myself as I began to stare at her. 

'Is she speaking Dutch or German?'

I thought before she glared at me before her gaze lightened up.

"Right, I shouldn't be having these kinds of thoughts. After all, you're not from this world. This plant is a Raffensweth."

I nodded as I glanced back at it.

"The Raffensweth plant is an odd plant that had been created by rogue wizards a long time ago. The plant was meant to be some kind of lava-spewing plant that shot hellfire, but instead..."

Her crimson eyes began to glimmer with an odd expression, and her mouth began to drool.

"of being a weapon, the Raffensweth plant spews out a very nice sauce that is often used in cooking recipes! It's kind of seeing that there is a Raffensweth here."

She said as she walked to my side and dipped her hand into the plant. I glanced toward her and as her hand descended into the pit of sauce, a smile began to form on her face.

"The sauce from a Raffensweth is often used alongside salt as an oil which is often used to flavor meat."

She said as she glanced back at me. Her index finger was painted with a golden ooze which she licked with her tongue.

"Uh... So what does it taste like?"

"It's quite odd."

She said as walked toward me and pointed her finger in front of my mouth.

"Uh... What is it?"

I said as I stared awkwardly and began to sniff her finger. I stared at her eyes, before staring at her nails which seemed to be painted a color of crimson. It was also most blood-like. And it was quite odd seeing nail polish be a thing in this world. Well, if nail polish is a thing, perhaps I can use it to color the walls in my house.

"Lick my finger."

"Excuse me!?"

I said as my scream rocked the entire forest.

"What did you say!?"
