**Knock**

"Come in."

As Austin knocked twice on the office door, a familiar voice allowed his entrance inside.

"Excuse me."

Saying so, Austin stepped inside before closing the door on his back.

It didn't take him long to judge who came here to visit him, since he had already sensed this particular mana signature a week or so ago.

But just to his visual affirmation, his eyes went to the person who stood up from the chair upon Austin's arrival.

Platinum blond hair, azure eyes, and a petite yet well proportionate stature stood the first princess of the nation, Tiara der Gramduör.

With a bright smile currently adoring her lovely face, she pinched the hem of her gown before bowing elegantly.

"Even our first meeting wasn't the ideal one; I hope we can get along, Sir Austin."

Remembering the hassle created in the ceremonial event due to Austin's entrance with the Ojou-sama, his brows twitched slightly.

Regaining his composure, Austin also bowed before extending his greetings.

"Pleased to meet, Your Highness."

"Please trim the formalities, Sir Austin, since from now on, we would be sharing a relation which would make you my superior. "

Perplexed, Austin thought about what she said, before turning himself toward the white-bearded mage sitting across them while sipping on his tea.

"Headmaster?"

"Umm....yeah. Princess Tiara wants to learn sorcery from you since she believes no one in the grand palace is capable of handling her."

Austin blinked toward the principal in bafflement before turning his gaze toward the princess, and saw her still smiling, like being indirectly called spoilt, which didn't bother her.

Austin knows that the mages in the capital aren't that high rankers, but still, they were way above the professors teaching in Eden Academy. Especially those magicians of the Royal Order who works under the supervision of Alex Nuèye.

Well, it was understandable since the Royal Order doesn't generally get free time to do anything other than protect their nation. Whether it teleportation center's monitoring or surveillance of foreign countries, the court magician grinds all year long until they don't die because of exhaustion.

"I don't have a problem. Join whichever group suits your proficiency, Your Highness. You can ask for details from the principal. "

Austin bowed again and was about to excuse himself since he had various things left hanging back in the gym when Merlin spoke up.

"Austin...if possible, can you tutor her personally?"

Being the highest nobility of the Gram, it was justifiable that Tiara wouldn't want to be seen being taught by some ex-noble teenager. There was a chance that the spies from the foreign lands might suspect the inner strength of The Gram palace crumbling, which resulted in the princess leaving her home to study.

No child of Emperor William, has left the palace to learn anything other than life experience. So this exception might bring some unwanted chaos.

But...

"Aren't you getting a little demanding, Headmaster?"

It would be a lie to say that Merlin didn't expect such a response, given how much he had asked from Austin already. The case of Gram's reputation is one thing, but for that, he couldn't put all the burden on Austin.

And in all honesty, Merlin wasn't sure when Austin would get up and leave the school since there isn't a single thing, this blond youth is gaining here whatsoever.

"I understand. I apologize, Austin."

Tiara seemed to be panicking because of the development since she never asked for private tutoring. Tho she wouldn't have minded it, but being alone with Austin might lead to her heart failure, so what Austin said, was in her interest too.

"Ano ne, Austin-san. Please treat me like others too, and I also apologize in Merlin-sama's stead."

Saying so, Tiara bowed her head deeply as she also apologized for being so imposing, even though she just wanted to be near Austin.

Seeing the two figures who were higher than him socially, Austin felt his brows tightening as he massaged his temple.

With a heavy sigh, he called his defeat as he spoke in a mild tone.

"Join the class I would be giving to the professor. By that, you won't get seen by students, and the chances of rumors would also fall off to some extent."

Raising her head with surprise spread like a white sheet, Tiara blinked like an innocent child before a heart-warming smile curved her lips.

"Hai."

After some hours, inside a room which by setting looked like a typical classroom with a blackboard attached to the wall and desk-benches arranged in a three-row divisions, sat numerous people.

But unlike from what one could expect, they weren't teenage students who were occupying these seats, but adult-looking men and women.

These people were the professors of Eden Academy who gathered in the classroom to get taught by someone they had always looked down upon.

Some professors were annoyed at the start, but after remembering the war which occurred some weeks ago, they let go of their pride and sat obediently.

Princess Tiara also came to be taught by the professor as she sat separately from the others so the teacher could look at her particularly.

Amidst the silence, a young youth walked inside the room.

Austin got rid of his long red coat before hanging it on the pole along the way as he was getting heated up quite a lot in that new add-on of clothing.

Walking up to the aisle, Austin naturally felt a little nervous since the position of the people inside has plainly swapped.

But it was just for some days, so he can manage somehow.

"Let's initiate today's class of basic spell formation."

Since he had no idea how he should be commencing the lecture, he stuck to the straightforward method.

And looking at the older one's expression, it seemed they didn't mind about such trivial things at all.

Austin exhaled heavily before he unbuttoned his cuffs and folded his sleeves.

Little did he know that a certain someone was almost drooling on the sight as she somehow remained poker face while her inner mind screamed otherwise.

Turning toward the audience, Austin formed a mana circle that had four rings drawn. The outermost ring was one meter in diameter, and the innermost measured 30 centimeters across.

"This formation is conjured for the spell Fireball beginner level. I know you all have realized it already."

As one could expect from the veteran mages, everyone nodded along with the princess as the fireball was one of the spells, one learns as their primary.

"How much time do we require to form such an average spell? From what I have observed, four seconds is for those who have been a mage for years or are simply talented, just like professor Emily."

The young brunette professor blushed slightly as she lowered her gaze and nodded along with the others.

Tiara didn't miss the reaction, but she kept it aside for now.

Four seconds was a stretch for some professors, but if focused like a monk, they could pull up such spell in four seconds or even less.

Getting everyone's affirmation, Austin continued.

"There are four mana circles, and the time required is four seconds. So does that mean each ring takes a second to form?"

Austin waved his hand before the illusionary mana circle got drawn upon the blackboard so that he could get a clear look at the students.

He didn't have to wait when one of the professors, who happened to be Austin's homeroom teacher, too, answered in a mild tone.

"No, it doesn't work like that. Every mana circle has its own roles, and it takes different times to create and regulate them to extract the best results."

"Correct, professor Blake. Each circle takes a different duration to get enchanted. But what if one of the circles gets skimmed over, but still the result concludes the same?"

The room fell silent on Austin's subjective question as the professors looked at him in disbelief.

What he said explicitly told that he intended to remove a mana circle but still would reach the same goal, albeit in a little less time.

It wasn't just close to impossible; it might cause havoc!

"I-Is that even possible, Sir Austin."

Tiara raised her voice since the older ones were too shocked even to utter a single word.

Hearing the meek tone, Austin smiled for a second before he displayed something which would change a whole lot of things from this day on.
