Chapter 140: Way to the core~2!

Panting in slight exhaustion Austin stood with his hand resting on his bent knees as he stared at the Abyssal Wizard who still was in his previous position, completely unfazed.

Austin tried his Spiritual Magic on the Wizard. Flames, Earth, Aqua. But the man either dodged or blocked the attacks somehow.

Austin did have an artifact, especially for binding purposes but it requires a heavy amount of mana, thus no good. If he really has to use mana then he would use it on something less taxing.

[Gravity Manipulation]

Extending his hand, Austin applied a pulling force to the Wizard's feet, and surprisingly it wasn't much troubling to do so. The robed Wizard was brought down quite naturally but it wasn't like Austin felt nothing out of it.

The small amount of magical energy released was enough to make him feel slightly dizzy but not to the point where Austin would miss such a good opportunity to hunt his prey.

[Hahaha… Even this skill? How many tricks do you actually possess kid~]

It was evident that the Wizard wasn't struggling at all being pulled down to the floor as he laughed in amusement at the new interesting discovery he had about the blondie.

Taking out his twin short dagger which was a [A] rank reward he got from the system a long time ago, Austin rushed toward the wizard without any further ado.

Saya was primarily quite troubled seeing her brother again using mana but there wasn't anything she could do other than wait. She knew jumping in the fight now would be nothing more than becoming a hindrance.

'Please don't hurt yourself Onii-sama… '

The first thing Austin did was to maximize his speed as much as he can despite knowing that the Wizard has his gaze fixed on his every movement.

From a natural perspective, Austin was going for a frontal assault but that was just to look predictable.

The Wizard raised his hand to halt Austin's attack which was a pathetic frontal slash with his back-gripped dagger. But the Wizard wasn't able to grab hold of the blondie for some reason. It somehow seemed like he was seeing an after image…?

'[Don't tell..] '

Before the Wizard would have realized what trickery he had fallen into, a massive impact was inflicted on the left side of his torso.

[Urgh… Wha..?!]

There stood Austin with an expressionless complexion adorning his face as he didn't use his still-held daggers rather he chose to punch this damn Wizard for once.

[How you… ]

It was the first time when the expression on the Wizard's face contoured this dangerously since he never expected the blondie to play such a card all of a sudden.

Austin didn't have any intention to quell the old man's curiosity as he slashed his left hand and intended to rip the man's throat with his dagger.

But the Wizard wasn't a newbie who would fall for everything. He gripped Austin's approaching wrist in a rigid hold before a grin spread on his pale lips.

But it was a misconception of the Wizard that he got a hold of Austin.

Before the older one could have perceived the situation entirely, Austin kicked his leg and fell on the floor with the Wizard above Austin and the latter's leg caging the Wizard's back in an unmovable hold.

"Let's burn."

The cold tone of the teenager resonated heavily in the Wizard's ears before the downfall of blazing heat poured down on both of them.

[AHHHHH!!]

Earlier, the Wizard was able to dodge Austin's attack through his precise levitation skill but now being captured, there was no way for the man to run away.

Like a heavy cascade of the crimson blaze, both Austin and the Wizard got shrouded under the hellish curtains.

Even the hero would have burnt to a cinder if such flames would have rained on him for too long which made the duo on the sidelines gasp at the scene in horror.

The Wizard was also hurting quite a lot. More than Austin thought as he saw the man struggling to get out of the hold but surprisingly, Austin was way stronger than the man when it came to such extreme situations.

[You damn kid!!!]

Suddenly the Wizard shouted as his robe left his body and extended like a sheet over both of them and countered the flames before the Wizard punched Austin right in the face.

**BAM**

Austin felt his nose bleeding but he didn't let go of the Wizard since he knew the robe wouldn't last long against the spirits.

**BAM*BAM**

But Austin wasn't able to protect himself from getting punched since he was also restrained to move freely.

But something Austin didn't expect happened as a familiar voice rang in his senses and an overwhelming presence approached.

"You bastard! Let go of my Onii-sama!"

The wicked smile on the Wizard's face returned as he smirked upon hearing the person he was triggering by hurting the blondie.

"Saya no!!"
