Chapter 33: Him jealous!?

Inside the extensive courtroom of Gram palace, gathered a decent number of officials along with the second prince Mikhail and the supreme entity, Emperor William.

The meeting was called for the most concerning matter at hand, the disappearance of Humanity's greatest hope, Hero Kyouki.

The news of the Hero vanishing from the school abruptly has been widespread, but it wasn't known to the public that the hero used the portal to switch between nations.

Well, the speculation and rumors have been flaring that Kyouki and Austin went to pursue Luna, who previously went to her hometown; still, certainty wasn't backed to any of the rumors as no one was aware of Luna's background.

It goes without saying that the central authority would do their best to suppress those chattering and, in any scenario, wouldn't let general people know about such a terrifying occurrence that took place three days ago now.

The meeting was called upon the request of Alex and Duke Reynolds, who their Majesty gave the responsibility to collect evidence on whether the Aurorean nation was indeed hiding the hero or their doubts were just baseless.

It was sure that if the Northern Empire were found guilty of hiding the fact about Hero's arrival in the Northern Empire, then by hook or crook, Emperor William would do his all to take what belonged to Gram.

And what Alex was currently presenting, it looks like the chances of war starting seem probable.

"As you can see, My lord. I used the artifact I have created for spying to infiltrate the Northern palace, and here's what I found."

Currently, in the middle of the courtroom, a giant purple globe-sized screen was projected, which worked as a surveillance monitor for the device Alex made to find Kyouki in the Aurorean palace.

The device had stealth ability and if about size then; it was similar to a small butterfly that, even being seen, wouldn't make people suspicious.

Currently, the giant globe was displaying events which the device was recording. A clear image of a massive sword with a sun emblem crafted near the hilt and a red ribbon tied at the tip of the handle was on display.

Mostly everyone in the courtroom has seen the Hero's Legendary sword, and how it looks like.

And after seeing the sword on the purple globe, the expression of the officials turned ugly as they concluded that, indeed, Hero was being held in Aurora; as Alex said, this sword was stored in the prison storage room.

"Since nobody here knows Hero-kun's sword better than Sicily-san, I would like her to verify whether this sword belongs to Hero-kun or not."

Upon hearing her name, Sicily became flustered as she got up on the spur of the moment. 

Under the heavy gazes of everyone around, Sicily stared at the screen for quite some time while trying her best to remain calm, before she nodded stiffly.

"Yes, this sword belongs to Kyouki-kun. The red ribbon and the deep scratch near the base are the same I have seen countless times. "

Her voice reverberated clearly in the hall, further making the atmosphere heavier than it already was. 

"Father, we have to move quickly, or else I don't want to think what experimentation that Norsvolk would perform on Hero."

Spoken in a whisper was the second prince as beneath his main focus, which seemed to be on the hero, Mikhail was primarily stressed about Austin's whereabouts.

The frown on William's face couldn't be grim more as he massaged his temples while thinking of the possibilities that could have led to such a situation.

But whatever he thought, the end results were the same.

The Hero was captivated in a foreign land, and the Authorities of that place have not found it necessary enough to inform them at all.

There was nothing to ponder about anymore.

Focusing his gaze upon the Foreign Minister, William commanded in a deep voice.

"Send an official statement that if the Northern Empire doesn't release Hero Kyouki-kun within 24 hours, they can prepare themselves for an all-out war."

"It's as you say, Your Majesty."

The official bowed in response before the courtroom again fell in silence.

War never gives a good vibe to any nation regardless of their strength and manpower, but the situation was leading in a way that the massacre and slaughtering would rage again on the battlefield.

'I hope you still have some sanity left in you, Norsvolk.'

"Hey, Austin. Isn't the hero strangely silent on this whole matter?"

In a warmly lighted room, two figures could be seen, currently resting on a cozy bed, intimately.

Austin, after returning from the hideout of Rebellious Faction, checked on the hero once and found out that Kyouki was still unmoving from his position. 

He hasn't spoken at all since the time he was imprisoned nor tried to use his name to create any fuss. 

Luna wasn't bothered about his situation at all; rather, she was worried about what if Kyouki was planning something which might hinder the upcoming events.

Austin lying on Luna's soft thighs while enjoying her delicate fingers over his hair, replied with his still closed eyes.

"Are you worried about him?"

There wasn't any particular emotion hidden in his voice, nor did his expression show any kind of fluctuations when he said that, but  Luna immediately identified the emotion that Austin did his best to suppress.

With an evil grin, she whispered coquettishly.

"Will my Austin be jealous, if I say yes~"?

Austin frowned slightly as he covered his eyes with his arm without intending to answer.

The troubled Austin looked so adorable to Luna that the urge to tease Austin rose inside her mind, but before she could have said anything, two great knocks on the door brought the love birds out of their stupor.

"Young lady, can I come in?"

Undoubtedly it was the personal maid of Luna who was standing on the other side of the door. 

In normal circumstances, Anna would have come inside the room after just knocking but knowing full well that Anna might see something unforgettable if she was to enter abruptly, the maid leaned on the safe route.

"Come in, Anna."

Luna commanded as she saw Austin getting up from her lap. She didn't want him to be so formal around Anna but knowing how he prefers to keep his private life with Luna separated from others; she could only sigh in defeat and let go of him.

"Sorry for disturbing you at times like this, but something came up which I thought was important to inform."

Instantly, Austin's dazed look changed profoundly as he focused his eyes on the maid with his brows slightly frowned.

"What happened, Anna-san?"

"An official letter from Gram has just arrived, and His Majesty has instantly called for an emergency meeting. I think it's going the same as what Master Austin predicted."

A/N:- Their Lovey-Dovey scenes would be fleshed out more once this arc concludes, and also some school stuff would also take place where Austin would show who's the new boss of Eden Academy.
