"Mm."
Frowning slightly, Luna felt the warmth beside her, distancing. She extended her hand but still couldn't feel the sensation she desired.
Opening her eyes slowly, she felt relief that the room was primarily dim as it didn't take her to readjust her vision. Turning her eyes to her left, she saw the broad bare back of her beloved.
Lifting her upper self, the soft bed sheet slipped down her naked figure, revealing her sinful body in total exposure.
Her moon-white skin, which had a lot of reddish marks and playful bites, made her remember the night she spent with her beloved before she fell unconscious.
A shy smile made her way on her slightly flushed face before she hugged Austin from the back.
"Good morning, master~."
"Oh, you're awake."
With a soft smile, Austin looked over his shoulder as he clutched the small thing he was inspecting before, inside his fist.
Feeling Luna's bare body connected to his, Austin felt jolts of excitement running down his spine as the memory of something wild flashed in his mind.
Thanks to Luna's question, he was able to end his stupor before his inner beast could have taken over.
"What's that? You don't want me to know?"
Luna was clearly signifying toward the stone, which Austin hid instantly upon hearing her voice.
Sighing, he held Luna's hand before he placed the stone at the center of her palm, much to her perplexion.
"You know what it is?"
Austin asked as he had no idea what was the specification of the tear sculptured runic stone.
But in reality, she didn't hear Austin at all, as her current attention was wholly drawn upon the thing Austin landed on her palm.
Her eyes were slightly wide as she inspected the stone thoroughly about thrice in a row, and to her utter disbelief, all three times, the result came the same.
Turning her focus to the confused Austin, Luna spoke with her voice filling with excitement.
"Austin, you know about the moon goddess, Gracia?"
Being asked something that he read during his crawling age, Austin nodded without much thought as he said something in the flow.
"The mother of the three unfortunate children?"
His voice sounded a little dubious, but it wasn't for his lack of knowledge but the context of such a topic with stone.
But Luna's following words made him realize why she asked something like that.
"Yes, that's correct. The goddess who always lost her precious children every time she resurrected them. There were various unfortunate reasons and sometimes just mere coincidence, but in no life the moon goddess was able to lead her children to ascend to godhood."
Austin nodded with his mind still rumbling in bafflement as he was aware of all these facts, but not what Luna said next.
"That is why she created three specific stones which gave her children the opportunity to nurture their life and one day they could break their curses and become the deities whom people could look up to."
Austin's face lighted up slightly upon the new discovery but just that. His expression still told how this was all related to the piece of rune Luna had in her hand.
Sighing, Luna shook her head as she cleared the obvious doubt about her cute dunce Austin.
"My dear young master, this stone is one of the tears which dropped when the heart of the beautiful Moon Goddess clenched. This is one of the legacies that the three children of the goddess left behind. This eternal artifact is one of the rarest items to find. Austin, where did you get it from ?"
Facing the sparkly eyes of Luna, a smile formed on the blond youth's face, but when he heard the end of her query, his smile broke down.
Luna also got out of her reverie as she sensed the change in Austin's temperament.
With his eyes roaming at a far distant place, Austin sighed before he leaned back on the bed, leaving the perplexed Luna behind.
"It's a parting gift from my mother."
Luna raised her brows in astonishment as she stared at the Eternal Stone once again to check whether she saw the right thing. The reason why Luna doubted the stone's credibility was because of the person who brought it to Austin.
With just the history of the Stone, Austin was able to discern what importance it carries, which didn't help but increased the number of question marks.
Lying down on Austin's chest Luna encircled her hand over his upper body as she asked in a whispering tone.
"When did she come to meet you?"
Luna knew how Austin was fond of her mother even though she had treated him indifferently since birth. Maybe, it was confirmed that a man's first love would always be their mother, which made Luna slightly jealous.

But more than jealous, she was confused, just like the person himself.
"Before the match with Captain Charles."
Now Luna's confusion grew worse as she was sure about the resurrection feature of the Stone, which Austin's mother would also have been aware of.
That only means she came to give him something so precious because she was worried about Austin.
The proof was evident, and Austin was also aware of the fact. But more than gratification, what he was feeling was distress.
If his mother wouldn't have come to meet him or if she hadn't given something so priceless in the name of a parting gift, Austin would have completely forgotten about his family and treated them as strangers.
But now....
'It seems I have to meet you for the last time, mother ...'
(A/N:- Don't curse him for this since he always has a weak side for his family.)

At the same time, when the intimate couple had their morning filled with surprise and realization, a particular group of people consisting of three beautiful girls were gathered in a closed room.
The evening sun was drowning in the sky, reaching up to the horizon, with the golden hue spread like a beautiful cover across the nation of Gram.
These three women were the remaining party members of the Hero's group who, in the absence of their leader, seemed to become aimless these days.
Vanessa mostly spent her days on the training grounds while trying to calm her racing heart, so she doesn't rush up to the Northern Empire herself.
Lilia was spending her time in libraries and recreational centers to get a hold of herself as she also trained her spells while she was at it.
And as for Sicily, then she was completely drowned in her world, separate from the others and unwilling to meet anyone since the time Kyouki left.
The reason why they came to meet, in the room which they haven't turned to since Kyouki left, was a very joyous one.
"Finally, tomorrow, Kyou-kun will return to Gram. To us!"
Sicily, with her eyes filled with warm tears, said in a heavy voice that signified how pleased and excited she was.
"Yeah, I can't just wait to see him and ask him how he dared to leave us so alone."
Trying her best to hold her tears, Venessa spoke while sniffing slightly as she stared out the window.
"Don't Venessa-san. First, we have to see whether Kyouki-kun is completely fine or not, by staying in such a place. We can't let him suffer more than he already has."
Lilia reprimanded the warrior as she said worriedly with tears of joy also adorning her precious eyes as she imagined Kyouki's smiling face making her anxious to meet him even more.
The room, which consisted of the three women who were currently on cloud nine since the time they heard the news of their beloved's return, fell silent for some seconds.
Sicily was the one who broke the peaceful silence as she brought up a matter which concerned her most at the moment and which she wanted to resolve before Kyouki's arrival.
Turning herself toward the two, she naturally grabbed their attention.
"I don't know what you guys think about Austin, but I am sure he and Luna genuinely love each other."
Lilia became flustered as she heard Austin's name, but Venessa voiced her thoughts first.
"Why bring their matter up so suddenly ?"
"Because, after visiting Aurora, I am sure Kyou-Kun must also have become conscious about Luna's choice over him. Now can you imagine how Kyou-Kun would have been feeling after he had seen the person he loves in someone else's arms?"
Hearing Sicily's remark, Venessa and Lilia blinked profoundly as they registered the words and also became conscious of the fact.
It was close to impossible for Austin to have curse energy now when these many things had happened, which meant Luna's affection toward the blond ex-noble was genuine since the start.
Now, this fact indeed leaves them in guilt, but what made them more worried now was the thought of Kyouki's current state of mind.
Focusing their gaze upon the eldest person in the room, they heard Sicily speaking something which carried their utmost attention.
"Listen, Kyou-kun's will to move forward lies in our support, so when he returns, we have to do our best to make him forget the past and lead the future with us. Whatever happens, we have to make sure Kyou-kun doesn't get involved with Luna anymore."
