"For whatever you have done, the help you provided, and also for saving my life, I want to thank you, Austin."
In the dining hall of Eden's Academy could be seen several students gawking near the eatery's entrance as a beautiful red-haired woman bowed in front of a blond youth.
Besides Austin, Luna was also present, who looked at the scene with an indifferent look since she didn't like how Venessa's temperament was shifting day by day for Austin.
The reason Venessa thanked Austin was legit since not only he provided assistance in the war, which they would have lost by every mean if not for his presence, but he also saved Venessa from the verge of death.
Austin had a thin smile on his face as he urged Venessa to quit the formalities.
"Let's end the conversation. I received your gratitude, so please join your friends."
Austin gestured toward the group of three consisting of Sicily, Kyouki, and Lilia, before he took Luna's hand and walked away.
It seemed that Lilia also wanted to walk forward and thank Austin, but she was too nervous to utter a single thing, so she stayed behind Kyouki's back with her gaze only fixated on her ex-fiancè.
It was strange, but Austin has changed in a way that makes Lilia believe that either the previous Austin, who always behaved savagely, was fake or he just have developed as in person after meeting Luna.
She leaned on the second possibility.
'It seemed you aren't the one unworthy of me rather... '
Halting her useless thoughts which she knew would lead to nowhere, Lilia along with the others, went to have her evening tea as they chatted about various things.
Luna, along with Austin, sat at the last dining table, which was devoid of students. Since due to the war and what happened because of Saya, almost 90% of the student have returned home for vacations, so the cafèteria was practically barren.
"Wait here. I will get something to eat."
Luna just nodded weakly since she seemed to be exhausted for some reason. If one was to look closely around her nape, then one might guess what activity kept her awake for 13 long hours.
Only after they were spent in various ways did they snuggle closely and sleep for only some hours before hunger awoke Luna around five in the evening.
Austin returned not so long after with two trays full of food which Luna liked.
Her oceanic eyes sparkled upon gazing at the delicacies as her previous grogginess swept away in an instant.
"Thank you for the food."
As she said, she grabbed the fork and instantly pierced it through some lettuce and pieces of grilled chicken pieces, and after dipping it in some peculiar sauce, she started munching it merrily.
"Yum~Yum~."
This side of Luna, who enjoys small things like she has been having the best time of her life, was only limited to Austin since she didn't like to show her real self to anyone.
Austin enjoyed the sight while sipping on his roasted bean coffee when suddenly the fork which was being used to feed Luna was extended toward him.
Austin accepted such lovely gesture as he also admitted that, indeed, the salad was excellent.
"We shared an indirect kiss, fufu~."
Luna giggled as she continued eating the other things, and also, in between several bites, she didn't forget to feed Austin too.
Austin being fed like this did feel like something a couple does, but he was more concerned about Luna's appetite, so he asked after the seventh serving.
"I can get myself something if I feel like it. So don't worry about me and eat."
"No... No... No. This onee-san ca-"
Luna was about to say something, which she usually does whenever she serves Austin in some ways, but her voice broke down because of something she remembered from the last night.
Austin was perplexed only for a second, but after seeing the reddening ears of the girl, he also realized what had come over her.
"What happened, Onee-san? Did you, by chance, remember something?"

"Don't say it, Austin!"
Luna was on the verge of tearing up as she hid her face behind her palms as the image of something embarrassing kept ringing in her mind.
"But I thought you like to take the lead-"
Austin was about to say further when he saw Luna's drooping gaze, which had small tears on the corner, as she tucked his sleeve in a cute plea.
"Please don't talk about it, Austin. I will die of embarrassment."
Austin's heart leaped as he saw such a vulnerable sight of Luna, which was very rare of her to show.
And as expected of a man who is weak to cute things.
He sealed his lips.
Thanks to the sudden change in everyone's movement around, the awkwardness between the couple subdued within a second.
The students, along with the cafeteria in charge and Kyouki's group too, stood up from their seats like someone prominent had entered the hall.
Only after, when the golden armored soldier appeared in front of Austin and Luna, they realized this sudden weight in the atmosphere.
Even identifying the bellman from the royal court, neither of the two stood up.
The messenger wasn't bothered by such misbehave as he didn't have the authority to point it out, so he carried out the duty he was bestowed to.
"Sir Austin. Your highness has summoned you to the Royal Court with the subject to extend gratitude for saving Eden Academy and providing assistance in difficult times."
"Okay."
"Eh? Yes, thank you for your time."
The royal messenger became baffled by such an instant response from Austin, but soon he coughed, and after bowing, he marched away along with the two soldiers who came with him.
Every gaze was fixated on Austin as being called to royal court was no joke. Even Kyouki only had been called once when he entered the Academy, but now someone who was previously disowned from his family was summoned before the Emperor.
It was indeed a memorable day.
"You nervous?"
As Luna sliced the honey bread, she asked Austin in a serene tone.
"Well, to be honest, no. I knew this day would come, when the first time, I decided to go into the limelight. What about you? Want to tag along?"
Austin felt what he said. He didn't have much expectation from Gram, nor was he hoping for something. He did everything to fulfill his desire to save Saya, and now, when everything was over, he cared about nothing other than those who were close to him.
"I want to see my Austin getting honored, but I won't be around for some days."
A frown appeared on Austin's face as he tilted his head in perplexion.
"You are going somewhere?"
Without turning her head, Luna answered with a slight smile.
"Yes. Grandma has called me."
