Apple was completely shocked when she found out that Ivans girlfriend was in an affair with Derek, who was actually Gladys boyfriend.

In the end, Gladys relented and called Derek, where she could hear Dereks voice simultaneously, from behind the door as well as from the speaker on her phone.

Babe, whats wrong? asked Derek in a worried voice. I was worried because you didnt pick up your phone and didnt reply to my messages, whats the matter?

Then Derek spent the next few minutes going on and on about how worried he was about Gladys, thinking that something bad had happened to her and all sorts of bullshit that sounded so sickening.

On the other hand, fortunately, Gladys was able to see through all the pretense and made herself even more determined to end things between the two of them.

What really happened? asked Derek after all the worthless chatter he had said. Are you pulling a prank for me? Please, dont do this.

And this time there was a soft knock on the door, along with Dereks soft voice speaking from the speaker on the phone.
