Whew. It’s going to be tough to stay ahead of the manga adaptation if it keeps up with its current pace. As usual, this part was mostly completed by Kagefij over a week ago, but it still took me some time to get round to doing the editing. This part had some vague conversation excerpts in it which are difficult to translate with 100% accuracy without much context. There’s also some pretty lengthy translation notes, please do read them. Especially if you want to understand what that oft-mentioned Onitada means.
With this, the translation of Volume 1 has finally passed the halfway mark! (w00t) The first part of Chapter 4 is actually already more or less done since it’s pretty short, but given the length of Part 2 of Chapter 4, it makes sense to space things out a bit. Expect it within the next few days, though. Comments appreciated. While I’m at it, I suppose I might as well say thanks to the well-wishing people who sent emails through the contact form. Thanks.
