Chapter 9: Volume 1 2 part1

Hello again, sorry for the wait.
A few important notices.
Firstly, I’ve switched over to the official Jaku- reading for 弱 (weak, originally Yowa-), as well as the logical corresponding Kyou- reading for 強 (strong, originally Tsuyo-). All known references have been updated to reflect this.
Secondly. I know I said somewhere that I’d be releasing all 50 pages of chapter 2 in one go, but I’ve ultimately decided to split it up into two parts of approximately equal length. The original is also actually divided into two parts, but the second part is basically just one long paragraph.
Therefore. You have a choice.

Either wait until I’m done with the rest of Chapter 2 (which may be sometime this week, may be sometime next month) to read the whole chapter as it was originally spaced, OR read the first half that’s linked above, then later on re-read Part 1 once the rest has been edited in, and then a paragraph of Part 2.
In any case, this part still has two illustrations in it, so that’s what, an extra thousand words each? Surely that counts for something.
Comments are always appreciated. I’m also now up-to-date with the latest volume (4), so should be well equipped to answer any general questions about the series as long as they aren’t too spoiler-ish.
Volume 5 is scheduled for release on Friday.
