Ji Qingying rubbed her feet that had gotten numb from standing in one place for so long and followed after him.
After entering the house, Fu Yanzhi put the things in his hand down, rolled his sleeves up, and looked at her, "Would you like to drink some water?"
“Yes.”
Ji Qingying raised her eyes to look at him, "Do you always get off work so late every day?"
"Depends on the situation."
Ji Qingying understood and didn't ask further.
Fu Yanzhi entered the kitchen.
He poured a cup of warm water and handed it to Ji Qingying. His little finger inadvertently touched her index finger, it was cold as if it had been soaked in ice.
He frowned.
Ji Qingying’s thoughts were wandering and she didn't notice the change in his expression.
Her eyelids hung down, with both hands holding the cup and her small lips pursed.
She looked like an abandoned child.
Fu Yanzhi seldom felt such compassion even if it was very little.
"What time was it locked?"
Ji Qingying's mind was in a mess, she blinked after hearing his voice, and looked at him for a while, "I can’t remember exactly but it must have been past nine o'clock."
Fu Yanzhi: "…"
She looked up at him, "Do you have work even tomorrow?"
"En."
Hearing his answer the lady who enjoyed teasing him gave him a sympathetic smile, "Must be exhausting."
Fu Yanzhi said nothing.
While holding the warm cup, her eyes gleamed, and she suddenly asked, "Doctor Fu."
Fu Yanzhi looked down to stare at her.
"Does your house have wine?"
"No."
Fu Yanzhi got up, stooped to pick his cell phone up from the table, and said in a low voice, "I'm gonna give the locksmith a call and ask him to come over tomorrow."
Ji Qingying did not refuse his kind offer.
After the phone call, Fu Yanzhi turned his head to look at her.
Ji Qingying knew what he was going to say and quickly said, "You can go about your business. I'm fine sitting by myself."
Fu Yanzhi stared at her for a few seconds before saying, "I'm going to take a shower. I’ll talk with you again after that.”
He had mild mysophobia, and every time he went home from the Diyi hospital, the first thing he did upon entering the house was to take a bath.
Ji Qingying nodded.
Now, she was being particularly well behaved and as she owed him one now she didn't want to tease him either.
Fu Yanzhi entered his room.
After a while, he came over with a gray blanket and handed it to Ji Qingying.
He leaned so close that she could smell him.
It wasn’t a bad scent and instead somewhat made a person feel comfortable.
Her eyes bent in crescent and her mouth curved into a smile, "Thank you."
Fu Yanzhi responded “ En” and said, "I will take you to the guest room later."
"Okay"
After he had returned to his room again, the living room became quiet.
The blanket was clean. He must have just rummaged it out of a drawer, on top of that it still had the wooden fragrance of a cabinet on it.
Ji Qingying sent a message to Rong Xue and only then did she pull open the blanket to cover her body.

She didn't know when the air conditioner had been turned on. Not long after, the heater steadily flowed to emit to come out, and the deserted room was filled with heat, making her feel quite comfortable.
When Fu Yanzhi came out of the bath, Ji Qingying had already fallen asleep.
He stared at the person curled up on the sofa and stayed there for a while before turning back to his room.
Ji Qingying had a dream.
In her sleep, she was walking surrounded by dense fog in a forest.
She had walked into a place where no one could get out. Wherever she went the surroundings were so white that she couldn’t even see the color of the sky.
She had been stuck there for a long time, but couldn't find her way out.
When she was exhausted from searching, she heard a familiar voice and smelled the unpleasant odor of winter china fir[coniferous evergreen timber tree of the cypress family].
Subconsciously, Ji Qingying went toward the direction the sound had come from.
Not even aware of how long and far she had walked, she saw that a ray of light began to appear in the midst of the white surroundings. It was very shallow, but she found it even though she was still trapped in a desperate situation.
She ran forward frantically.
As she dashed forward madly, the light became brighter and clearer.
As soon as she stopped, she found that she was already out of the dense-fog-filled forest, and stood outside where there was a glowing sun.
She looked up at the sun in front of her. She reached out and tried to catch it. As soon as she reached out, the shape of the sun changed.
It became Fu Yanzhi.
He was standing in place of the sun and was reaching out his hand to her.
……
When Ji Qingying opened her eyes, her surroundings were quiet.
The ceiling lights were off, but there was a small floor lamp on the balcony illuminating the room.
The light was not dazzling, just like the sun’s ray in her dream.
Ji Qingying paused. She looked down at the extra quilt on her body.
The quilt smelled of sunlight, as good as the dream.
She curled her lips silently, took her phone, to look at the time.
It was only five o'clock.
She quietly got up, folded the quilt and blanket, turned off the air conditioner and floor lamp in the living room, then walked out with silent steps.
When Fu Yanzhi woke up, the room was very quiet. The living room looked like no one had slept there before. The quilts were folded in four squares and neatly placed in the corner of the sofa.
As the wind blew, the fragrance of jasmine drifted in through the window.
He checked his phone that was in his hand. There were unread messages on the screen.
Ji Qingying: [Doctor Fu, I have a job to go, thank you for the sofa and quilt. I will invite you to dinner when I come back. And have you seen the flower on your balcony? Could you please help me raise it for a while? If you don't have time, I will ask my friend to come and get it tonight. Is that all right? ]
Fu Yanzhi paused and looked over to the balcony.
On the black shelf where the green plants were originally placed, there were two more flower pots of jasmine flowers that had not yet bloomed.
As the wind blew, the green leaves could be seen clearly at a glance
He stared for a while, lowered his head, and typed: [Yes.]
Life after joining the group was busier than Ji Qingying had initially imagined.
From time to time, they had to modify the costumes because of changes in the script or the actors' requests.
In short, there were a lot of things to do.
Although she was only in charge of the heroine, however, her workload was relatively ample because Yan Qiuzhi had more than 30 sets of cheongsam to wear in the movie.
Fortunately, Yan Qiuzhi was easy to talk with, so she was quite comfortable with her current job.
It was time for lunch break.
As soon as Ji Qingying took the lunch Rong Xue had brought for her, Yan Qiuzhi ran over.
"Qingying."
