—3rd Person POV, Heaven—
The Gods sat down to have a meeting about some weird ongoings in the mortal worlds. Several worlds were degrading far faster than they should naturally which raised some concerns. The Gods of Creation, Life, and Death were all very troubled by this as it tipped the natural order of things out of balance. This meeting was to discuss any potential issues the other Gods may be having so things could be resolved quickly to prevent further damages.
“Alright, everyone appears to be in attendance today which is good. Thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules for this meeting. As I am sure everyone is aware, many worlds are falling apart quicker than we made them too.”, the God of Creation stated watching his colleagues closely, “All of us have had to increase our workload to compensate for this. Does anyone have any knowledge as to why this is happening?”
Looking at one another, the Gods and Goddesses were hoping someone knew. Watching them each closely, the Goddess of Life noticed that the Goddess of Love was agitated for some reason. She was glaring at the God of Reincarnation like he knew something that he wasn’t telling them.
“Mildred, is there something you want to tell us?”, the Goddess of Life asked her.
“I don’t, but someone else does…isn’t that right Derreck.”, the Goddess of Love growled.
“What are you trying to insinuate? I have been doing my job very well, in fact, one of my favorite reincarnators has been working hard to fix worlds for us.”, he refuted.
“You know that’s not the truth because he never reincarnated!”, she shouted in frustration.
Backing her up, several other Gods agreed that the God of Reincarnation wasn’t doing his job properly. Telling everyone to settle down, the God of Death asked them what was going on.
“This bastard has transmigrated a poor soul six times now!! He doesn’t let the mortal enjoy his life, or raise the families he created! Once his task is done, he has been pulling him out of the world and then sending him to the next!”, the Goddess of Love cried, “I have heard the prayers from his family, you are an animal for taking him from them! They would have given anything to have him back!”
Turning to look at him, the God of Creation asked him if the accusation was true. Hesitantly admitting it was, he told everyone that finding good people to help him was hard as most reincarnated souls did whatever they wanted in their next life. Only a small number had ever actually lived up to their requested duties, and the man in question was the best one he had met thus far.
“So you are saying you have been transmigrating him instead of letting him die naturally?”, the Goddess of Life said, “Do you realize these problems were caused by you!? The titles you bestow on him in each world don’t stay there, they stay attached to him till he dies then they get passed on. You have robbed six worlds of important positions!”
“Hold on now, he was only going to be a videographer in his original world. That world hasn’t had any issues!”, he refuted.
“So five worlds…that doesn’t make a big difference.”, the God of Death groaned, “Your stupidity has destroyed those worlds, and is putting undue stress on others. Do you realize what you have done?”
Telling everyone to stop blaming him for it, he stated that he had one of the hardest jobs as he had constantly judge souls and send them to new worlds accordingly. Not only that, he had to ensure that each world had enough people to survive and didn’t progress too quickly.
“That is no excuse, you know the rules about transmigration. You are only allowed to do it for individuals that do not play an important role in the world’s events. What titles did you bestow on him?”, the God of Creation demanded.
“...Hero, Sage, Holy Paladin, Demon Lord, and Blessed King…”, he replied nervously.
The room immediately went silent as every single God wanted to kill him on the spot. Gods that benefitted from Cole’s hard work in his past lives hated the God of Reincarnation for what he had done. The Goddess of Love and Fertility hated him the most as they adored Cole. Both of them had been following his actions closely and seen the good he brought about where ever he went. Cole’s hard work saved countless lives as he brought people together to work together towards a common goal. Above all, it was his charity that touch him as very few Heroes were willing to forego food to help feed others.
Up till now the Gods that knew what was going on had stayed silent because the God of Reincarnation outranked them. Now that they had the Gods of Creation, Life, and Death’s ears they weren’t going to let him go so easily. Continuing to dig his hole for him, the Gods piled on their complaints against him.
“You need to fix this immediately! Do whatever you need to do to rebalance the system, even if you need to send him back to every one of the worlds he’s been to bestow his titles to someone else.”, the Gods of Life and Death ordered him.
“Better yet, send him back to live out his lives properly. This will restore the order you disrupted, and will soothe the Gods you angered.”, the God of Time chimed in.
Giving him a month to get this taken care of, the God of Creation closed the meeting there. Watching his colleagues leave the room, the God of Reincarnation scowled at the Goddess that called him out. Telling him that he should be ashamed for ruining Cole’s families and the countless lives he saved, she left with the Goddess of Fertility to return to her duties.
‘I can’t believe that rat bastard mortal never told me he kept the titles! Had I known that I wouldn’t have let him go to those worlds, now I know why the native title holders were so much weaker than they should have been. He stole their blessings without realizing it since he had held the titles longer.’, the God of Reincarnation thought, ‘Since he wants to disgrace me like this, I will fix this problem in a more aggressive way.’
Calling the Angel Angelo over to him, he told him to start preparations for eradicating the five previous worlds he sent the mortal to. Looking at him in shock, Angelo insisted that doing something that drastic would only make things worse for him. Reminding him that destroying worlds was against Heaven’s policy, the God of Reincarnation told him to do as he ordered or he’d replace him with someone more competent.
“Make sure he sees his family die, then kill him and destroy the world he is on now. That world is also corrupted thanks to his presence.”, he told Angelo, “Use as many Low and Unranked Angels as you need to get it done. I have only a month to get this turned around, the sudden increase in work will be annoying but it will only be temporary. It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.”

“...by your orders sir.”, Angelo replied knowing full well what the mortal would do to him.
Having been there every time he pulled the man away from his families, Angelo knew all too well how much anger and bitterness he held for them. With the knowledge that he held five powerful titles, Angelo knew this would be a very bloody conflict.
—Cole POV—
Several weeks passed by with no signs of movement from All For One or the Meta Liberation Army. A few crazy followers of Rikiya’s did attempt an independent attack on Tartaros, but each attempt ended in failure as the guards were quickly able to subdue them. Other than those few incidents, things were pretty calm as the school year started.
‘Kyudai Garaki is still missing, never left the hospital so people think a villain kidnapped him or killed him.’, I thought checking the local news while I sat in the teacher’s lounge, ‘No withdrawals from his bank account, his phone is offline, and no bodies have gone missing lately. They have to be preparing for a fight with me, that’s the only likely scenario. Looking at this from their side, they would want to kill All Might and me at the same time. The Warp Quirk can only really be used once to catch us off guard.’
“Hey there big boy.”, Midnight teased me as she enter the lounge, “How about we get dinner sometime?”
“I am good, thank you though.”, I replied immediately.
“So it’s true then, you are dating one of the Pussycats, Mirko, or even Endeavor's daughter right?”, Midnight inquired.
Looking up from my phone, I asked her what she was on about. Showing me a forum that she frequented online, there were rumors and photos of me with the women in question. It was true that Mirko and I patrolled together twice a week, but we definitely weren’t dating. As for the Pussycats, I wasn’t dating any of the women either. All I was doing was spending time with Kota since he had a rough time dealing with them and making friends since he didn’t like Heroes. Even my relationship with Fuyumi was just a casual friendship, we only met up a few randomly for dinner. It wasn't like we planned things that way, we just shared a similar taste in food.
“Any particular reason you are stalking my daily life as well?”, I questioned with a sigh.
“You are one of the most eligible Pro Hero Bachelors here in Japan. Many single women are following you hoping they will run into you.”, she remarked with a playful smile, “If you ever change your mind, just let me know. I promise you won’t be disappointed.”
Thanking her for the offer, I said I would keep her in mind. Deciding to take a look at Pro Hero Rankings in Japan, I was curious about what I was ranked at. It didn’t really matter to me, but it was still something nice to know since I had no idea I had forums about me online.
“I am Rank 10 on the list…that is pretty interesting.”, I mumbled with a smirk, "Considering that I am a foreigner, I expected to be lower on the list."
Thankfully my parents hadn't seen the poll as I would have received a call from them. Putting the poll aside, for now, I focused on the task at hand. Today was my first real day of working with the students, up till now I had been helping Power Loader with maintenance around campus. Taking a look at the time, I knew it was about time for me to join All Might in the mock-up city on campus.
Zipping right over to the training area, I gave All Might a nod as I arrived. Hearing a few gasps from Class 1-A, Izuku started geeking out a bit. Listing off the stats that the Hero Association had posted of me, I was a bit uncomfortable with how much he knew about me.
“So you are one of the teachers here too…don’t you have something better to do?”, Bakugo snickered.
“I am getting paid to babysit you Bakugo, your mother says you don’t play well with others.”, I jabbed.
Looking at me in shock, he was about to mouth off to me but I told him to shut up.
“That cocky attitude and mouth of yours is going to get you or an innocent civilian killed.”, I scolded him.
“Yeah right!”, he shouted.
“Says the one that doesn’t notice the metal shrapnel around him.”, I pointed out.
Looking around him, he froze seeing the bits of metal floating around him.
“Don’t underestimate your enemy, and above all else keep your head on swivel. Villains won’t play fair or pull their punches, give them an opportunity to hurt you or someone else and they will take it.”, I stated staring him down, “If I was a villain, you’d be dead before you knew it.”
Shutting his mouth, I released my magnetic hold on the metal bits. Telling them that I would be their Urban Combat Instructor, I told them the first thing we would be doing was building their endurance.
