—An Hour Later—
Searching through their Royal Archive, the King and Melty located an older map of the site in storage. Hand-delivering it to me, I rolled the map out and pinned the corners down so I could review it. According to the drawings, the structure was built atop a large hill situated in the center of a large meadow. Surrounding the meadow was a thick forest, the same forest where we started our search for Melty initially. Seeing no other structures or buildings in the vicinity, I was curious about the origins of the conference site.
“Melty, how long has the site been in use, and has it always been used for diplomatic talks?”, I asked.
“Yes, according to mother the site has been in use for three hundred years. It was built to be used as a neutral zone for talks between nations, it’s location makes it hard for military forces to get close without drawing attention to themselves.”, Melty stated recalling things from her memory, “Not only that, most of the neighboring countries treat Demihumans and Humans the same under the law so they are good at meditating.”
“Good, that means I have a plan for this but we are going to be cutting it close. Since this was built for royals and diplomats to use, this building has to have dozens of escape tunnels for the inhabitants in the unlikely event they get surrounded.”, I said with confidence, “Since their goal is to attack the nonhuman diplomats, they won’t be ambushing people going to human nations…this eliminates many of the roads we need to cover.”
Circling three roads on the map with Illusion Magic, these were the most likely ambush locations for the Church to use. These three roads went to Siltvelt, Shieldfreeden, and a group of small nonhuman nations to the north of them that were in attendance at the conference.
“We need to locate the escape tunnels in the conference site, and figure out which ones empty out onto these roadways. They will be crucial in slipping behind enemy lines to rescue the children with minimal risk to their lives.”, I stated looking up at the families, “I need your help to map the tunnels out, and flag the ones we need to get behind their ranks. Can I ask this of you?”
“Absolutely, we can do that!”, one of the men agreed.
Knowing that they would protest if I didn’t give them something to do, I decided to give them the lightest work possible. Since there were a lot of people willing to help, it would afford us the option to quickly map everything out.
“Once we have identified the tunnels I will need you all to camouflage the exits so you don’t get spotted right away.”, I ordered looking at the students, “You will be the ones sneaking behind enemy lines to take the children to safety. The Pro Heroes and the Four Legendary Heroes will handle distracting the enemy so resistance should be minimal…assuming you aren’t spotted.”
“You want us to do this!?”, Izuku gulped, “You should be the one to do it, these are children’s lives at stake! This isn’t a test like the ones you give us at school, if we mess up the children will die.”
“Yeah I agree, this is a lot to ask of Trainee Heroes.”, Ochaco agreed.
“I will step in if needed, I have faith you all can manage this on your own. All of you will eventually be put in situations like this, and won’t have All Might or me to aid you. You have the proper training, now is the time for you to put it into practice.”, I reassured them, “Besides which, my part in this won’t happen till the children are safely out of harm's way. Once your group is out of the way…I will annihilate their forces myself.”
“Annihilate them how?”, Senko asked, “Like what you did during the Wave?”
Giving her an evil smile, Arosta seemed to understand what I was thinking. Hearing her giggle with delight, she told everyone that they were in for a show. Wanting clarification on what was going to happen Isola spoke up to clarify.
“You are going to do what you did against the Forlorn Kingdom in our world, right?”, Isola inquired with a pleased smile.
“You know me so well.”, I replied, “To answer all of your questions, you won’t have to worry about being branded a Demon Lord anymore Naofumi. They will learn what a real Demon Lord looks and acts like, and they won’t ever mistake you for one again.”
“Hehe, I promise you will feel a lot better after watching it.”, Silva assured the freed families, “When Cole fought the Forlorn Kingdom, he-”
Shushing her, Arosta and Purlin told her to let them wonder about it as it will ruin the fun. Apologizing to them, Silva left it at that for now as her tail wagged around excitedly. Arosta, Purlin, and Silva were with me at that battle and watched me completely fold the Forlorn Army. They were there when the capital fell into ruin and our forces looted the city bare.
“Once everyone is here, fed, and healed I will teleport us to the conference site.”, I said forcibly teleporting Malty to my side, “And you will be coming with us, I am sure your mother will want to say her goodbyes to you for a bit…assuming she doesn’t beat you to death. Oh, I almost forgot to tell everyone…starting today Malty is our new housemaid. Please have her do any work you can’t be bothered with, she can handle it.”
Remembering who she was, from my previous discussions at home, several of my wives weren’t happy about the situation. Eve in particular said she didn’t want a slut working as a maid in our home as she’d be a bad influence on the children. Assuring her that she’d behave, Sapphire said that we were allowed to punish her however we saw fit if she stepped out of line.
“Still though a maid, whose idea was that?”, Fuyumi asked looking at me with a concerned look, “Is she going to end up in our group? If you want us to dress up as maids, you could have just asked us. I frankly am not eager to have her in our home either…someone who’d kill her family to get a leg up isn’t someone I want to be around. You know about my deceased brother…I don’t want another reminder of what my father did around me again.”
“I understand completely, however, we are all quite busy at home lately. Between the children, events in the Special Region, and Cole’s expeditions we need someone to clean up around the home.”, Sapphire stated with an apologetic look, “We can confine her to her room whenever you are home so you don’t have to see her.”
“Oh!! How about making her a Doghouse!”, Repune suggested.
“I am not a dog!”, Malty protested in anger.
“What was that?”, Sapphire remarked as her scales started to glow.
“Woof!”, Malty quickly replied fearing for her life.
Laughing at her sister, Melty took some pleasure from watching her sister suffer for her crimes. Backing up Sapphire, Melty said she’d help keep her sister in line while they stayed with us. Telling the two women to pack their bags, I would stow their belongings in storage till we got home tonight.
—Several Hours Later—
Once everyone was together, I teleported us over to the conference site. Offering to secure shelter for them in neighboring villages, the families asked to camp out by the hill in hopes we’d find their children soon. Helping them pitch tents and gather necessary food supplies for the coming days, once they were settled in the rest of us went to the front gate to gain access to the building.
As we approached the front gate, several guards from several different races came out to block our way. Pointing their spears and swords at us, they were none too happy about the group down below or us being here.
“This land is for government business only, civilians are prohibited from-”, one of the guards started to say as I walked straight towards him.

Lunging forwards with their spears, several of the guards tried to impale me for trespassing. Smacking the spears away, I got right up in the man’s face and began talking to him.
“My name is Kessler, and I am here to prevent several of your diplomats from being killed by a cult.”, I explained to him, “If you don’t want to eat through a straw for the rest of your life, let us pass.”
“Let him through.”, a man said as he came running into view, “So you are the one who brought those people here.”
Making way for him as he approached, the Kitsune man extended his hand to me with a warm smile. Given the guard’s reaction, I assumed he was one of the delegates so I reached my hand out to meet his.
“A pleasure to meet you, my name is Renjo. I am with the delegation from Siltvelt, we have heard a lot about you Kessler.”, Renjo snickered as we shook hands, “You have quite a wonderful family, are all of these your children?”
Introducing my wives and children to him, I could tell he was taken aback by the rather large harem I had. While harems were commonplace here, the fact I knew everyone’s name without needing to ask was what probably surprised him the most.
“It’s a pleasure to meet all of you as well.”, he stated nodding his head to them, “Now then, I overheard you mentioning something about a Cult coming here…is it one of those Human Supremacist Cults?”
“You guessed correctly, the Church of the Three Heroes is coming here with a stolen relic from Faubrey to kill the Nonhuman Ambassadors from several nations.”, I replied motioning to the group below us, “Those families down there had their children kidnapped by the cult, they intend to sacrifice the children to power the weapon. I was hoping to gain access to the site to begin preparations for their rescue in three days.”
Glancing down the hill at the nonhumans currently staying there, he examined them for a minute before calling for his servants. Rushing out of the building, they asked how they could be of service. Telling them to notify the other Nonhuman Delegations that they had guests outside, the servants bowed their heads and ran off into the building.
“I thank you for saving them…we have known about their circumstances for a while, but couldn’t locate them as the Church’s people are tight-lipped. Fortunately, there are people like you out there that don’t get bogged down in political bullshit.”, he chuckled with an amused smile, “As you need access to the evacuation tunnels, I will have some servants show them to you.”
“Actually have them show the families around tomorrow. They wanted to help out with their children’s rescue so I assigned them the easiest task. I don’t want them to push themselves too hard as a few hours ago they were nearly dead.”, I remarked.
“Understood, I will have them shown around tomorrow.”, he assured me, “Since you have come all this way, I think it would be a wise idea for you to meet the other delegates. Please follow me.”
Splitting off from us as we went in, Melty took her father and sister to her mother. Telling us they’d catch up in a bit, we continued forward with Renjo to the Dining Hall. Seeing some of his servants leaving the room as we approached, he called out to the other dignitaries as our group entered the room.
“Everyone, Kessler has arrived to deal with a rather delicate situation. For the time being, we will have guests at the foot of the hill. They are recently freed demihumans from Melromarc.”, he proclaimed motioning to us.
Getting up to greet us, several of the nonhuman delegates came over to shake my hand. Thanking me for my hard work in bettering the treatment of their brethren, I tuned them out when I noticed the Faubrey King was focused elsewhere. Staring at my wives and female students as they intermingled with the servants, he looked like a fat man staring at a buffet. Watching him start waddling over towards them, I teleported myself in front of him to block his path.
Stumbling back in shock, he quickly broke his lust gaze and focused on me. Wiping his brow down, the pig reached a hand out to greet me trying to play it off as if nothing happened.
“It is a pleasure to meet you, Kessler, I have heard many wonderful-”, he started to say as I shook his hand.
Crushing his hand like a styrofoam cup, I grabbed him by the throat with my left hand and lifted him off the ground. Rushing forward to protect their King, I blasted the guards away with Telekinesis. Flying out the window, the guards fell three stories to the ground below and those unfortunate enough to land first died acting as cushions for the others.
“Don’t ever look at my wives and pupils with those lustful eyes of yours. Next time I will rip them out, and feed them to you with my fist!”, I growled, “If you want to get laid, go find a Red Light District!”
Throwing him across the room, he slammed into the stone wall leaving a massive depression of his body in the wall. Point to his servants, I told them to get him out of my sight before I killed him. Hurriedly picking him up, the servants struggled to carry his unconscious body out of the room.
“So our intelligence was right, you really don’t care about titles.”, Renjo laughed with approval, “I think we will get along very well.”
“Agreed!”, the Shieldfreeden Ambassador agreed looking at the depression in the wall, “Threatening both Faubrey and Melromarc…I don’t think that has ever happened before.”
“Thank you…”, Momo said covering her chest, “His gaze was…uncomfortable.”
“Don’t let yourself be in a room with him alone. He has had nearly one thousand wives, and all of them have ended up dead under mysterious circumstances.”, I warned the students.
“Oh so he is one of those guys…”, Tiger and All Might remarked as they cracked their knuckles.
Suggesting we head back for the day, I opened a portal and sent the students, All Might, and Tiger home for the day. Moving the portal to our home next, I was going to suggest we retire as well when Renjo voiced his concern.
“What about the civilians outside, are you not going to stay here with them?”, he inquired, “While the Church may not attack, there are still plenty of dangerous monsters in the area.”
“That’s what they are here for.”, I said pointing to the Heroes, “You guys know how to camp, and rough it right?”
Looking at each other, they turned to me and shook their heads. Stating that they didn’t have camping equipment, supplies, or anything…I looked at them like they were idiots. Letting out a sigh, I told my family to go home and that I would be spending the night here today. Closing the portal once they were gone, I called all four of them idiots as they should be prepared for every weather condition possible.
“How do you go around without food, water, and at least fire-starting tools?”, I grumbled in annoyance, “Alright then, let’s get down to the camp and setup shop.”
“Roger!”, the four men agreed.
