-Trrrrring! Trrrrring!
The loud ringing of the alarm clock poked at the sleeping Otherworlder's consciousness.
-Trrrrring! Trrrrring!
"Tsk."
The Otherworlder clicked his tongue as his eyelids struggled to open up. If this damned alarm clock didn't shake the whole bed this would've been much easier–
-Thud!
–With a loud bang, the annoying lump of metal dived down from the shelf on top of his bed, it made three consecutive flips and landed leg-first right in the center of the Otherworlder's head.
-Trrrrring! Trrrrring!
"Fuck this."

The Otherworlder freshened up and put on his usual garbs as he yawned and went out of his room. It had already been two days since he came back to the town after splitting up with Cockarista.
He stretched his arms above his head and went down the stairs. Greeting the innkeeper with a simple nod, the Otherworlder stepped out of the establishment.
The singing elves, the dancing fairies, the merry shoppers, and the hearty workers. This sight that had become familiar to him calmed the Otherworlder's heart down from the day he returned to the town. He had probably packed the princess' schedule for the next month or two with his gift.
"Should I get some breakfast?"
The Otherworlder thought of where he could go... "Absolutely not the adventurer's guild..."
In the end, the Otherworlder went to the center of the town and entered the quietest cafe he could find.
The bell on the door jingled as he stepped in and took a seat. There were only two other tables occupied in the cafe with walls coated by dark wooden ply and a scent of fresh coffee. It felt slightly odd, seeing how such a pleasant place was rather deserted so early in the morning. Whatever it was, it was good for him, he could enjoy this peace.
The Otherworlder went to pick up the menu placed on the table when a slim man suddenly came behind him. Wearing an apron, the bearded waiter narrowed his eyes at the Otherworlder.
"What can I get you?"
"Uh–" The Otherworlder turned his gaze to the menu but the waiter snatched it from his hands and tucked it in his arms.
'This bastard...'
It was very embarrassing to ask for the menu back. With no other choice left, the Otherworlder sighed and turned to the waiter.
"I'll take an americano with six cubes of sugar and some toast with strawberry jam."
Hearing the Otherworlder's order, the waiter's face relaxed as he nodded. "Coming right up," the waiter said before disappearing back into the kitchen.
He soon returned with a tray and placed the toast and coffee on his table. "Enjoy, for seven days." The waiter then left without sparing the Otherworlder a glance.
'What a weird dude...'
Turning to his coffee, the Otherworlder saw that the waiter had made some latte art on his americano. 'L-409,' was what he had written on the coffee in uncharacteristically cutesy handwriting.

'So this why it's not popular...' the Otherworlder sighed and took a sip of the coffee. Taking it away from his lips, he felt the rich beverage flow down his throat. Then, he took another sip and continued, taking off bites from the toast in between.
It tasted great.
As the Otherworlder indulged in his breakfast, his mind kept going back to the conversation he had with Cockarista. Running away from this world while having no desire to go back... It seemed so. Why was he behaving like that, it had already been over three months, and yet he could not accept anything.
Going with the flow, until it all gets stagnant.
The Otherworlder finished up with his breakfast and paid up. Leaving the still deserted cafe, he thought of where he should go next when the same thoughts rang in his mind again.
In the end, he decided to go to the bookstore at the other end of the town.

"Welcome..." the old receptionist's voice lowered at the end as he looked at the Otherworlder in mild surprise. "It's you."
The Otherworlder bowed and greeted the old man with a smile. "Long time no see, Mr. Yellow."
Mr. Yellow nodded back at the Otherworlder. "When did you come back? Did she call you here? She has been worried sick about you, you know?"
The Otherworlder felt warm in his heart when he heard Vera was worrying about him. If it was Mr. Yellow saying it, there was no doubt it was the truth. "I came back two days ago... She didn't call me here, if you could then please let her know I am back."
"Huh, got it, I'll tell her. So, are you here to read some books?"
"Yes. I felt like reading a bit."
Mr. Yellow nodded again and went back to the book on his desk. Without saying a word, the Otherworlder too went inside the book store and looked around the shelves.
He picked out any books he could find on the history and geography of the world alongside books on spatial magic and rituals. Taking them all to the desks in the depths of the store, the Otherworlder settled down and flipped open the pages of the book. He skimmed through the contents of all the books, but unfortunately even after a whole hour of reading he couldn't find anything on the topics he was interested in.
After some more time had passed, the chair next to the Otherworlder was pulled back. Startled, the Otherworlder quickly turned to his side to see Mr. Yellow standing there.
"Those books... are you looking for a way to go back again?" he asked.
The Otherworlder remained silent for a few moments before closing the book and placing it back on the table. "Not really... I was just wondering if it was possible, but I can't seem to keep anything in my mind at all."
Mr. Yellow placed an arm on the Otherworlder's shoulders and gave him an understanding thought. After standing there quietly for a few more seconds, Mr. Yellow spoke to the Otherworlder.
"I can tell you, you know? About this world... and our own."
The Otherworlder's eyes widened at the sudden and unexpected offer.
"Not a lot... but I can share some stuff."
The Otherworlder immediately grabbed the man's hand and asked him to sit down. The thoughts and conversation that Cockarista had left stuck in his head for the last two days, maybe he could get rid of them.
After all, he was one of the first of another world to have set foot in the kingdom of Angnarmarak.
Mr. Wallace Yellow, was a reincarnator.
