The month passed by rather quickly and another day of training was taking place within the forest.
Several flickers of lightning flashed within the forest and the figures of Pedro and Alyssia moved between the cover of the trees. Sometimes they appeared up on a branch of a tree and then the next moment back on the ground.
Alyssia had worked hard on her Flash Step and had also made an improved version for jumping which she named Flash Jump. An explosion of electro underfoot along with her kangaroo leg strength allowed her to jump up high, so she began to develop and hone the technique along with her Flash Step.
The combination of her Flash Step and Flash Jump allowed her to move from place to place and jump up high while utilising her Concealment and Tracking skills.
While she was moving from cover to the next hiding place, she tried to keep track of Pedro, who also did the same with his own abilities and they both did their best to lose the other, but also keep track of their opponent until they could stealthily attack them.
Suddenly, Alyssia lost track of Pedro and she moved to cover once again while looking out for him but suddenly a flash appeared behind her and she was tackled to the ground from behind.
Although, she had not improved her stats that much during this time, she had gained an extra point in her Stamina thanks to the difficult training and sparring she had been put through and endured.
A pair of hands grabbed the back of her clothes and pulled her up from the ground and spoke. "You-gara have improved a lot during this month, but you-gara have a long way to go. All I can do for now is to introduce someone to you-gara so that your training can continue while I am gone."
Alyssia dusted off the dirt that was on her clothes and then stood up straight. "So, you will be leaving soon?"
Pedro was silent for a while, but he nodded to confirm that he was leaving.
Alyssia thought for a while and then said. "Good luck out there. I am sure that you can make a name for yourself out in the world, but be sure to be extra careful. If you meet someone you cannot afford to offend or defeat, then do not go plotting anything against them until you are sure it will be a complete success. If you cannot accomplish something right now then get stronger so that you can handle any problems that may come up later."
The failed attempt to get a copy of Big Mom's Poneglyph resulted in losing his crew, an eye and most of his lifespan, so hopefully, he would take her words to heart and not attempt to infiltrate one of the Four Emperors' main base even though he knew that if he did so there was a big risk of dying.
Hopefully, this time he would think more carefully and cautiously before following through with such a plan in the future. Maybe her advice may not be taken to heart, but perhaps it will be enough when the time comes, he might think over the risks involved before he acts.
Not long after Alyssia was referred to Cat Viper to be taken in and instructed by him personally after Pedro asked a favour of him.
Not only was he a skilled user of Electro and really strong, but he was also a user of Observation and Armament Haki, and to be able to beat or survive a battle with an Emperor's direct subordinate was worth her taking him as her master.
She had received many points for receiving the tutelage of a master every day, but now that Pedro was leaving, she needed a new teacher. Cat viper just so happened to be a much better fighter and also, he would provide her with more points.
Just two weeks after being under Pedro's tutelage she had upgraded her system Main Profession to level two while unlocking the Intermediate rank Skills and Knowledge that was available for purchase.
Her leg martial arts had reached a much higher mastery than Basic rank as she continued to train in it, although her mastery was higher than the Knowledge that she had been provided for the Basic rank, she was still able to make progress as someone stronger than her continued to provide her with tips to improve herself.
The same was true for her Concealment, Detection and Climbing skills which had been stuck at the Beginner rank and had been quickly mastered.
As she continued to fight and play tracking games with Pedro, her mastery increased past the Beginner rank that she had purchased, which led her to not have to spend so many points the next time she purchases the next rank of her skills.

Many of her skills had surpassed their original Beginner or Basic mastery and had been upgraded to the next realm without her needing to use her points to upgrade them while some of them remained as they were after the upgrade.
The 100 to 200 per cent mastery skills were upgradable and the cost to purchase them would be reduced depending on how much she had mastered, but although it stated that her skills were a certain rank, they were in fact one rank above.
An example of a system upgrade would be one at 150 per cent, and the price for the upgrade to the next grade would be halved.
The biggest change in the system was the special move category which came up after she had come up with her own Unique Technique. The system rewards using one's creativity to make new things from experimenting with the knowledge that has been given.
For example, a Martial Artist or Fighter Profession can come up with special moves, a Cook can come up with a new recipe of their own, a Musician can write their own music and also a Scientist can invent something new.
After lots of practice, her Flash Step had reached the level of Basic grade and after some experimentation, she had created another Special move which rewarded her with additional points for creating two Beginner skills of her own, along with upgrading one of them on her own.
The points that she had earned were being saved until she needed them to purchase something or to upgrade the system once again.
Now that she was being referred to a Teacher of high skill, she did not need to rely on the system to purchase the Knowledge and Experiences to help her learn the next stage of her skills, but that did not mean that other skills did not need to be purchased to help increase the speed of her training.
The skills that required more time to study, she decided to use her points to learn them with the help of the system like her Navigation, Drawing and Science skills. And there was a big problem that would come up later which would cause her to be unable to leave the island and that was her lack of Wood or Metal Crafting Knowledge.
Although she did not wish to go down the route of human modification like some of the scientists in this world, she could walk down the route of developing a weapon or tool for herself with her Science and Metalworking Skills, and the Woodworking would help with building herself a temporary ship to get her to a place where she can meet a more experienced shipbuilder.
The weather science route was also available to her if she was able to run into the right people to learn it just like Nami. Suddenly, many ideas flooded her mind and her creative spark was lit.
