Chapter 1: This is it.

A middle aged man maybe in his late fourties was walking home one day, there wasn't any hair on his head. He obviously didn't exercise as he was out of breath from walking afew metres. His belly hung out from his shirt and his face was contorted into a grimace.

'That's the fourth job this year!' he shouted 'Why can't i keep a single job, I'm useless.'

There weren't many jobs left after the great disaster in 2044. A tower split the heavens open one day in London, rain poured for hours as the monsters poured out of the tower. Blood was everywhere. Millions died around the world. That was when it all started to go wrong. After the initial shock everything started to quiet down abit. The tower was no longer feared by as many, it was now seen as a pot of gold, a sure fire way to make it big. Those who had the confidence to do it made their way into the tower but this man? He had no confidence, no skill, no luck. He had nothing, well he had one thing but he lost that. He met a girl a few years before the great disaster. Her hair was beautiful, her skin pristine and she had an amazing body. If you saw them together in public you'd think 'How did he manage to get that girl.' But that didnt bother him. He loved her, until...... One day, there was a storm but this wasn't normal. The world government called them the monster storms. Monsters poured out of the tower and blood fell from the sky, painting the streets red. His girlfriend was a hunter, she was called to help the citizens out. But she couldn't save anyone, not even herself.... All the man did, was watch. He watched the blood pour out of her. He watched the monsters tear her limb from limb. He blamed it all on himself for being too unfit to save her, too cowardly to help anyone, too scared to be a man. So what did he do? He ran home, ran to the roof top and fell. He fell off the edge. fell to his death.

APRIL 3 2043

'Honey, come downstairs. Breakfast is ready!' A female voice shouted up the stairs.

'Where am I' He said 'I'm sure I just died.'
