Art felt his bed rock back and forth, and it was then he heard the voice of a young woman. "Art! Art! Wake up! Wake up!"
He yawned and with his eyes still closed, he could already tell who this voice belonged. "Ahh, what are you doing?" he groaned while rubbing his eyes before sitting up from his bed.
Opening his eyes, what greeted him was a young woman. She was a beauty with natural long blue hair. Her skin was the kind of white that could even enchant the snow, and it was impossible not to lose oneself in her pair of enchanting jewel blue eyes.
The young woman was in her pyjamas, a black and white one-piece that covered her entire body except for the head and hands. She was holding an old bunny toy and was rubbing her eyes.
"Powder, why are you up so early? The sun isn't even up," Art continued to say.
"I had a nightmare again," replied Powder. "Can I jump in the bed with you?"
Art was too tired and didn't say anything and lifted the blanket, gesturing for Powder to hop in the bed with him. A smile found its way to Powder's face before she got into the bed with Art, and happily snuggled against his chest and sighed contentedly.
The two went back to sleep and it was only when sunlight shone through the frame of his bedroom window, that one of them showed signs of waking up.
Art's eyebrows twitched, and his eyes slowly opened as he felt something weighing on his chest, making him unable to move. It was then he remembered Powder had come to his room earlier this morning.
He looked down at Powder who was sleeping on his chest and her legs on his. He sighed, not knowing what to do... It's getting harder and harder for me to resist her.
He was faced with the dilemma of accepting or rejecting Powder's feelings for him.
He loved the character known as Jinx, but Powder was different, she was a kid who he grew up with and didn't have any romantic feelings toward her when they were kids. He even found it extremely irritating when people misunderstood his relationship with Powder when he was just being nice to her.
This was because Art was older in mental age and was more attracted to older women like Violet who was the same as him when he had died in his first life.
However, the more Powder grew up to resemble Jinx, and his hormones out of control due to puberty and as she grew bolder with her advances, the harder he found it to resist her.
Jinx was a beauty but Powder even more so as she was taller and had more meat/muscle to her compared to her depiction in the game.
This was due to Art's parents taking Violet and Powder in after they were orphaned for the second time and providing the two sisters with nutritious foods and a place to call home.
And so Art didn't know what to do but put such thoughts in the back of his mind and suppress the blood flow to his little buddy. "Wake up, Powder," he said uncomfortably. "Your drooling on my chest."
"5 more minutes," Powder replied with a groan.
“We’ve got school today,” Art pushed Powder off him as he got up from bed. “I’m going to change.”
“You don’t need to be so rough,” Powder said with a pout while sitting up.
Seeing this, Art rolled his eyes. “You wouldn’t have woken up if I didn’t. Now get out of my room and get ready for school. I don't want to be late.”
“Hehe,” Powder giggled and ran out of the room.
"And hurry up or else we won't have time to eat breakfast!” shouted Art. "And wake up Ezreal for me, okay?!
With that said, Art took a quick shower and got changed. He then stood in front of the mirror to look at his new uniform and looking back at him was a handsome young man.
(A/N: I messed up. This one is Jayce's defender of tomorrow outfit, not his school uniform seen on episode 1.)
The young man was 5'9 tall with an athletic figure. There was still a little bit of baby fat on his face and his sharp eyes had strange pupils but other than that, he could only be described as perfect with his pink hair, pretty white teeth, sharp jawline, and small, delicate nose.
The young man wore a dark brown long-sleeved shirt with a red tie and navel blue slim-fit trousers. Over the shirt was a white and blue vest which the red tie was neatly tucked into.
These clothes were the uniform for the men attending the University of Piltover, aka the Academy, the place where the creative and brilliant minds across Piltover gathered.
It's been 9 years and many things have changed for better or for worse.
Art was now 18 years old, just 3 years older when he died. He moved away from his parents and was now living with his friends in a rented two-story house in mid-town, North of Piltover.
All of them were now in University and besides Art, who at most very smart, Powder and Ezreal were geniuses and there was only one place to nurture their monstrous talents and that was the academy.
This was something Art had wanted for a long time as there were just some things money couldn't buy. He wanted to learn from the best and further his studies and learn more about this world.
However, this wasn't the only reason they were going to the academy… The Hexgates had been built and the rise of Hextech was now inevitable.
This was surprising but also an opportunity for Art. He thought he had delayed the development of Hextech for at least another century when he stole the Hex Crystals from Jaycee’s lab, so when he heard that the Hexgates were being built, he came to a silent decision.
To prevent his family and friends from dying on him, Art wanted to learn how to create technology using hex crystals to protect his loved ones.
It was because Silco was still at large and his criminal empire was still running the Undercity despite Art's numerous attempts to destroy them.
One would think it would be easy to take care of Silco who had no magic or supernatural abilities but that couldn't be farther from the truth.
Art hadn't been able to find Silco using his magical senses. He was not familiar with Silco's signal like he was with Ezreal and the only thing he had been able to do was to destroy his Shimmer factory several times and put his men in Stillwater.
Yet no matter how men he put in jail and factories' he destroyed to stop Shimmer from wreaking havoc in the Undercity's streets, they all popped up again like he was in a time loop or as if someone were helping them.
Silco was too smart, more experienced and was always two steps ahead of Art despite the latter having more advantages than the former.
It was as if they were playing a beautiful yet intense game of chess... Silco had only pawns left and Art still had his queen, knight, bishop and rook on the board.

However, this was what exactly Art had feared.
Silco's pawns or in this case, his subordinates, were extremely loyal to him and who knew what they could do?
If Art kept on making the wrong moves, one of Silco's pawns may just create a game-changing move, and by then it wasn't just him that would lose this game but also his family and friends.
For now, he could only go to the academy and create safety measures for himself and his loved ones by going to the academy.
"I hope everything works out," Art said to himself while looking in the mirror.
A few minutes later and once Art was satisfied with how he looked in the mirror, he walked out of his room and headed to the kitchen. Mhh, what should I cook for today's breakfast? Pancakes? Omelete? he thought while walking downstairs to the kitchen.
"Art, watch out!"
The moment Art stepped outside into the living room, he heard someone shout at him. He quickly snapped out of his thoughts and saw a ball coming toward his face. If he didn't dodge, he was sure he would be knocked out cold or worse, end up in the hospital.
But he didn't even blink and caught the ball easily.
"Oops, sorry, I was just practising my magic," Ezreal said, scratching the back of his head guiltily.
Hearing this, Art felt a little regretful teaching Ezreal to harness his latent magical abilities. He could only imagine the chaos Ezreal would cause around Runeterra if he got his hands on the Gauntlet of Ne'Zuk.
But thinking about the incident 9 years ago, he didn't mind Ezreal creating some chaos in Runeterra as long as he was safe.
"It's fine," Art said, throwing the ball back to the handsome blondie. "But if you break anything, you better pay for it."
Ezreal caught the ball. "Got it."
Art rolled his eyes, knowing the words he said had most likely gone from one ear to the other. "So, what do you want for breakfast?"
"Pancakes!" Ezreal immediately replied.
"Guess we're all having... Wait, where's Powder?" Art asked while looking around the room. "Is she still--"
"What do you think?" Ezreal interrupted with a question as if expecting Art to know the answer.
The blondie was right as Art instantly thought of Powder's long hair. "Braiding her hair?"
"Yep," Ezreal said nonchalantly.
"Geez, I told her to hurry up," Art sighed and shrugged his shoulders. "Whatever, it’s her loss."
He then went to the kitchen and began taking all the ingredients he needed out of the pantry such as flour, eggs and sugar, etc. The pancakes he was planning to make were Japanese pancakes.
Compared to normal pancakes, Japanese pancakes were harder and required more steps to cook, but it was worth it. It was a bit like if buttermilk pancake, vanilla cupcake and baked custard were combined into one dish. The sweet and custardy taste, with a hint of vanilla, was something to die for.
It would take at least 40 minutes to prep and cook the first batch of pancakes.
However, using the cheat code known as [Telekenesis Magic], Art was able to create the pancake batter within minutes and cook the first batch using 5 pans after five minutes.
And as if right on cue, Powder came down from upstairs all dressed up and asked. “How do I look?”
"You look horrible!" Ezreal exclaimed.
"I wasn't asking you," Powder glared at Ezreal and the blondie glared back.
"Alright you two, stop fighting or else the two of you won't have anything to eat this morning," Art stepped in before the two started bickering with each other.
He then turned to Powder and said. "You look great."
"That's it?" Powder frowned, a little bit disappointed as she was expecting Art to be more amazed and give her more praise than a 'you just look great'.
Art sighed upon seeing her frown and shook his head. "O' fair maiden," he said with a bow. "Of all the woman I have seen, never have I ever met someone beautiful such as thee."
He was messing around and although Powder was clearly aware, she still couldn’t help but blush a little. It was only natural for someone to act weirdly, sometimes even crazy around the boy/girls he or she likes.
“You’re so easy to read,” Ezreal rolled his eyes.
"Shut up, Ez, Powder walked over to Ezreal and lightly punched his shoulder.
"Ouch," Ezreal exaggeratedly hissed in pain and knelt on the floor, clutching his right shoulder.
Ignoring Ezreal the drama Queen, Art said. “Alright, pancakes are ready!”
As soon as Art finished speaking, Ezreal sprang up to their feet and ran to the kitchen counter. “I’m first,” the blondie said with an enigmatic smile, took one of the plates on the counter and started eating.
Powder and Art followed and started eating as well, enjoying and savouring the taste with each bite they took.
