In a famous pet shop north of New Haven, everyone was taking glances in the direction of the beautiful couple who were buying stuff for their cute pup. Where they celebrities'? Models perhaps?
It was typical for people in the store to see celebrities, gorgeous men, and stunning women since the shop was considered an expensive quality shop for the pets of the rich. It was a favorite go to for all kinds of socialite and famous vloggers for their beloved pets.
But somehow, they couldn't tear their eyes away from the lovely couple. They emitted a different aura around them. They seemed like a couple who just stumbled there for the first time. The genuine emotions on their faces was refreshing.
The man was gorgeous beyond compare beneath his air that made anyone shiver and cowered in fear. The woman, although not the most beautiful, but definitely deserved a second look. Young, yet she emanated confidence far beyond her age, drawing people to her charms without them knowing.
The women all stared in jealousy and envy at the girl who made the ice-cold man smile, and the men all wanted to pat and dote on the pretty young girl just to see her smile.

I was not oblivious to all the gossips, and secret glances thrown at us. Although Cain was well known, not many know his face. He was in many newspapers and magazines, but most didn't have his pictures.
Maybe that's why all the staring?
I inwardly sighed in relief that Cain was a low key and private person like me. I think I wouldn't be comfortable if someone was just going to approach us and take pictures of him because he was famous.
If it was just going to be a one time event, then it was alright. But if people were going to constantly disturb our alone time every few minutes, then that was a different matter.
It was Saturday, and we were currently buying little Pluffy's stuff as Cain promised.
"Which do you think is better? This one or this one?" I asked him while holding the different dog food in each hand.
"What do you think?" Cain asked back.
"I think this milk coated one is better."
"Why do you think that?"
"Everyone loves milk."
He stifled a laugh as he picked the milk flavored dog food and placed it inside the shopping cart.
After the dog food, we went into the snacks section. The deferent flavors, shapes, and sizes of snacks made me nauseous.
Sensing my dilemma, Cain suggested, "Let's buy all of it."
"No," I said straight away, "what if little Pluffy won't like it?"
I stared at the snacks with a hand on my chin and snapped my fingers after an idea dinged in my mind.
"I got it!"
I carried little Pluffy in my arms and brought his nose near the snacks, one at a time.
It worked like magic!
After the little furball sniffed, he would either lick or turn his head away.
Cain's lips quivered, fighting a laugh. He didn't say anything as he grabbed all the snacks that little Pluffy licked and shoved it all inside the cart.
As soon as we've got everything on my list, we went to the last stop, which was the bed section. Little Pluffy made its way on a simple large blue-grey memory foam and snuggled his self in its comforts while his large moist eyes stared at us like he was begging for us to buy it.
Cain and I stared at each other and chuckled.
I could see in the foreseeable future that little Pluffy would be our little spoiled child.

[Camping]
It was a beautiful summer day in a popular camping site in New Heaven. The weather was sunny, yet the summer breeze was refreshing and not that humid. It was mild and I could live with the heat. I actually longed for it. I missed the tropical weather back in my country.
Gigantic trees clustered in the campsite. Green grass blanketing the earth. Crystal clear river and lake that glittered under the warm rays. A waterfall not too far in the north while cliffs, magnificent for star viewing, surrounded the place.
Yep. It was definitely a majestic site and deserving for its place in one of the best camping site in the country.
Since it was summer, there were quite a lot of people marking their territory. Most were families and couples enjoying the summer heat.
After we bought little Pluffy's things, we made our way here.
Cain led me to a spot that was not too far from the lake and waterfall, huddled by trees and grasses. It even had its fishing spot with a small wharf and boat. The area was meters away from the other campers, and I think it was the best spot.
If I didn't know any better, it seemed like Cain already had his men reserved the place for us.
. . . Of course he did and I should have known better.
Like always, people were throwing glances at our way, especially at the aloof man beside me. Men, women, children, even the older ones alike couldn't resist his allure.
This guy is a walking aphrodisiac!
Unconsciously, I tightened my grip on his hand.
Cain unleashed little Pluffy, and the piglet ran all the way to the river.
"Hey!" I yelled in an attempt to stop him. I was worried he might drown. But my worry was for naught as the little furball skid to a stop before he reached the water. He wet his paws and toddled back on land and wet his paws again and again. I think the little piglet was enjoying his curiosity with the crystal clear water.
After making sure that he wouldn't go into the deeper parts of the river, I help Cain set up the grills.
"Don't worry. He knows how to swim," Cain assured me. He must have noticed my frequent shots of worried glances at Little Pluffy's direction.
I didn't respond and grabbed the fishing rod instead after we set the grills, table, and chairs.
"Cain, teach me how to fish. I want to fish," I said with a more than cutesy voice that made even me cringe.
Cain didn't mind my cringe attempt of being cute as he patted my head before grabbing a bucket and led me towards the wharf. Near the edge of the wooden pier, there were already buckets of live baits for the fish.
Yep. He definitely came prepared.
Cain showed me how to insert the bait and how to cast the rod. But before I could cast my rod, he threw baits into the lake first.
"It will attract the fish." He smiled when I shot him a questioning look.
I shrugged and cast my rod into the lake.
. . .
. . .
After several minutes, the bobber shook and jumped before it submerged into the water.
"Oh my god! Cain! Cain! It's baiting! It's baiting! What should I do?! What should I do?!"
I didn't know what I was saying. I was drowning in excitement and adrenaline that I almost lost my balance and fell into the water when the line was tugged in the opposite direction.
"Careful."
Cain swiftly circled his hand on my waist and steadied me.
"Extract the fish in by tapping and raising the rod vertically while simultaneously reeling it in," he instructed as his hand guided my hands.
I was too caught up with the fish to notice his hot breath on my ear and that he couldn't resist giving my lobe a quick bite.
I gathered my willpower and fought with the fish, emerging victorious. I proudly showed him the fish as he took pictures of me.
"Ehehehe, look at the size of this thing!" I said with a smug grin.
It was just an average size fish that you could catch anywhere. Nevertheless, Cain patted my head in a doting manner and stared at me with affectionate eyes, which boost my confidence and smugness.
"Congratulations on catching your first fish."
"I don't want to eat it though. How do you set it free?"
Cain smiled as he shook his head before he grasped the fish behind its head in a gentle, yet firm hold before removing the hook using a needle-nose plier with impeccable ease.
"Oh! Got it." I clapped my hands and seized the rod and cast it into the lake to reel in my second fish.
"Cain, don't worry about me. You can start grilling the meat while I fish." I shooed him away after I learned the basics from him.
Cain huffed a laugh as he shook his head, a helpless smile on his lips. He pecked my cheek and pinched my nose before he left me alone.
