The dark sky accompanied by white cotton fell scattered, bringing a cold air to spread.

It is the atmosphere in a certain city at night. Just when the sky began to make a white carpet on the earth's surface. The children happily looked out of the windows screaming, [It’s snow!], [Snow coming!], [Hurray, snowfall!] and so on. On the other hand, adults are casually joking with friends or relatives while watching the children with warm eyes.

Wherever, whenever, and however, everyone is happy to welcome the end of this year that comes with white snow.

But that night, in the midst of a Christmas ruckus or a fun year-end celebration, there is a 15-year-old girl who continues to lock herself in her room. As if she didn't care about the world, she was alone, lying down, unconscious in her sheets, and above her eyes were slightly more sophisticated goggle-like glasses, blinking to indicate their active function. 

That's right, those are the latest VR glasses for the VRMMORPG game released last year.

This girl only cares about games, a virtual reality that was recently created by a certain company with state-of-the-art technology, which must have caused a community of game lovers and adventure maniacs to flock to it, just to get it in person.

And this girl is one of them. Despite living in a luxurious and spacious house, she was alone. The reason is simple, her parents are very busy at work, so they never spend the slightest bit of time for their little daughter. As a result, this girl hates her parents, drops out of school and continues to lock herself in her room, until now she has been obsessed with virtual reality games that are more attractive to her. Parent? Friend? Environment? The girl no longer cared about them. The girl prefers to play games as the meaning of her life.

Spend time in the virtual world, explore mazes, level up and so on. That was what she kept thinking, not caring about the real world anymore.

Therefore, she cultivates a closed personality. Spends time in her room, plays games, always locks herself, and only goes out when her stomach is in trouble.

It is now morning when the clock shows 7 am.

The sky was still dark when the sun was just showing its fangs. And at the same time, a big house had an excess of silence in it. Quiet and dark, a good combination for the atmosphere of the western-style house. Very quiet without any occupants. The gate was tightly closed, the courtyard was deserted, and the inside was nothingness. The long corridor was left empty with no traffic so it seemed a waste to build.

Then just then, in the midst of the silence of the corridor, the sound of footsteps approaching towards a certain room,...

*Knock Knock Knock*

... there was a knock on the door.

“Miss Ellie, it's time for breakfast. Please have breakfast first.” The knocking continued into a female voice in her late twenties with a worried tone. 

However ...

“.....”

...no answer came from behind the door.

Then after a short pause, the worried tone continued without any desire to give up.

“Miss Ellie, you need to have breakfast first. Let's get out of the room and go have breakfast."

“Miss Ellie~,……” The voice faded as if it had lost its will. Until finally she gave up in silence.

Called three times with no response, this maid sighed. Already knew what this young lady was thinking.

"Hah~" sighed resignedly, she just continued to put the food in front of the door.

“Miss Ellie, I put your breakfast at the door. Eat if you feel hungry.”

With that, the sound of footsteps walking away was heard until then it was silent without a word.

After a moment of silence, the door suddenly creaked open, and a pair of small hands reached out to pick up the food placed in front of the door. Immediately, the hand brought the food inside and quickly closed the door again. A *click* sound was heard after that, indicating that the bedroom door was locked tightly again.

That's right, the name of this self-isolating girl is Ellie.

Ellie, even though she's still a child. Her life is always alone. Accompanied by only one housemaid, she finds life without parental love.

It's not that her parents died, but they were very busy working. So that the time spent on her daughter is almost non-existent. Only once a year do they return.

That was why Ellie, had never felt the warmth of a family.

Despite the abundance of money, luxurious houses, and easy life, Ellie never felt any happiness at all.

At first, Ellie was able to go to school like girls her age. However, over time the hole in its presence is increasing. With various false excuses given, she skipped school. Until finally, after she closed her heart completely, she actually quit school at the age of 15 years.

Lock herself in a room, without the need to live socially like humans in general.

As an outlet, she devoted her life to a VRMMORPG game that was recently released. At first this was given as a form of consolation by the housemaid to her, so that Ellie would stop moping in her room alone and go away go out. But that didn't happen.

Ellie, of course, wasn't interested in this game at first. But immediately she tried to touch it and feel the real experience of playing a VRMMORPG game. Ellie became addicted.

As a result, the housemaid's plan, which was to comfort Ellie, actually made Ellie even more mired in the abyss of solitude. Lock herself in her room, play games to her heart's content, and won't go out unless she’s hungry or need to go to the toilet.

That's when Ellie's founder's life reaches its peak. Since no one rebuked her, she could be free as is. Her parents were away busy working in a faraway place, the housemaid couldn't do anything to her master's daughter, and the school had given up on forcing her to go to school.

Ellie had lived alone and would forever be like this. That was the comfort she decided on.

Loneliness is definitely something that most people don't want. But not for Ellie, in fact being alone is a blessing for her. Because this can be used to live a virtual game life to the fullest. So that most of the time Ellie spends, is used to play games to her heart's content. Whether it's hours though, she can keep doing it.

That's how Ellie became an acute loner to pursue her hobby of diving in the virtual world more than anyone else.
