Chapter 81 Compensate me six times

The traffic lights at the intersection turned red and the traffic stopped. Qin Miao stepped on the brakes and finally had the opportunity to turn his head to look at Chu Suiyun.

Chu Suiyun, who was sitting in the passenger seat, turned his head slightly to the window, and his eyes were on the road outside the car, through the window. Since Qin Miao finished talking about his three-year experience a few minutes ago, he had maintained this posture, as if sinking into his own world without saying a word.

“What’s wrong?” Qin Miao couldn’t hold back and asked.

Chu Suiyun finally retracted his gaze and looked at Qin Miao again, a hint of sadness seemed to flicker in his eyes.

He tried his best to raise an indiscernible arc, pretending to be relaxed, and said, “I forgot what happened three years ago all by myself, it’s not fair to you.”

Qin Miao smiled and comforted him: “Don’t worry about it, everything has passed. Haven’t you come back to me well now?”

“How can you not mind?” Chu Suiyun lowered his eyes, staring at his fingers on his thighs, “Because I lost my memory, for me, I have only been with you for half a year. But for you, it was three years. This is the first time I knew that time could be so unfair, that people in the same time and space could actually have time pass by differently.”

Qin Miao was silent for a moment, stretched out his right hand, grabbed Chu Suiyun’s hand on his lap, and squeezed it into the palm of his hand. The body temperature was exchanged between the palms, making Chu Suiyun feel at ease.

“Then compensate me.” Qin Miao smiled lightly, “six times.”

Chu Suiyun chuckled and commented: “You are really a shrewd businessman.”

Qin Miao smiled at Chu Suiyun’s words to himself. The next moment, the red light turned green and the vehicle started again.

The voice of Chu Suiyun’s questioning sounded in the car: “How can I compensate you six times?”

“Well…let me think about it.” Qin Miao paused, “For example, if I kiss you once, you should kiss me six times. “

“If I hold your hand for one second, you will hold mine back for six seconds.”

“If I say ‘I love you’ once, you will say it back to me six times.”

Chu Suiyun smiled a little embarrassedly.

Qin Miao went an inch further, lowered his voice, and said, “If I make a move, you will make a move six times more.”

Chu Suiyun was stunned for a moment, and after reacting, he punched Qin Miao’s shoulder. Qin Miao immediately shouted: “Don’t do that, I’m driving, be careful!”

“Hitting is kissing and cursing is loving, I’ll definitely make it up to you! Come on, six hits, make sure to count!” Chu Suiyun gritted his teeth.

Shanlan University, inside a coffee shop.

During this time, the place where Chu Muyu studied at school became this cafe on campus. He used to think that he had to order a drink to self-study there, but just drinking boiled water most of the time, he felt it was a waste, so he seldom set foot inside.

But recently he had become a frequent visitor here. Every time he came to study, he would choose a two-seater booth by the window.

Because you could talk in the coffee shop, but not in the study room.

Chu Muyu squeezed the straw, took a sip of the seasonal drink, and looked up at the Alpha who was actually reading their book.

The lighting in the cafe was actually not suitable for self-study, it was a little dim. But this kind of soft shimmer best outlined a person’s face. With the shades of light and dark scattered, it made the facial features of the opposite Alpha more profound and more handsome.

Shen Qingdeng had long noticed Chu Muyu’s gaze, and turned his attention away from the book to look at Chu Muyu.

“What’s wrong?” he asked.

With a smile on Chu Muyu’s face, he waved his hand and said, “It’s nothing.”

Shen Qingdeng gave him a puzzled look, as if asking, “Really nothing?” Chu Muyu nodded and persuaded: “You should continue reading.”

Hearing what he said, Shen Qingdeng hesitantly looked down at the book again.

A minute later, a melody that was out of tune sounded. Shen Qingdeng looked up and found Chu Muyu shaking his pen and humming.

Chu Muyu noticed that Shen Qingdeng was looking at him, and covered his mouth a little embarrassedly, his eyes apologetic.

Shen Qingdeng looked at him for a while, then lowered his head again.

He knew that Chu Muyu was very happy recently, the Omega’s thoughts were revealed from the usual interaction between the two.

Not only because of the holiday approaching, but also because something happened to Chu Muyu’s older brother some time ago, but now it was fine.

The two stayed at peace for a few more minutes, but Chu Muyu finally couldn’t hold back and tapped the back of Shen Qingdeng’s hand with the pen.

“Hey, hey.” Chu Muyu called out and poked.

Shen Qingdeng pinched his pen: “What do you want to talk about?”

“Hehe.” Chu Muyu smiled and tried to pull the pen back, but found that Shen Qingdeng was very strong, so he had to give up and gave him the pen .

Shen Qingdeng confiscated Chu Muyu’s pen, put it aside, and closed the book, ready to listen carefully to what he had to say.

Chu Muyu rested his chin with one hand and said to Shen Qingdeng, “Why didn’t you ask me why I didn’t let you go home with me these days?”

Shen Qingdeng paused and asked, “Why?”

“You really had to have me take the initiative to ask? If you have anything you want to know, just ask me directly!” Chu Muyu stretched out his hand and patted Shen Qingdeng’s head boldly. Seeing that he didn’t respond, he continued, “Didn’t I tell you my brother had some trouble and was away from home some time ago, now he has returned home safely, so if you go home with me again, he will see.”

In fact, Shen Qingdeng was very clear about this matter, but after a moment of silence, he nodded, and pretended to only just find out: “I see.”

Chu Muyu felt that his words were inappropriate, and added: “Of course I don’t mean that you can’t be seen by my brother… that is, he’ll ramble when he sees you and I just feel it a little annoying.”

“It’s okay.” Shen Qingdeng said lightly, “I don’t need to meet him.”

There was no reason for this to make Chu Muyu feel a little uncomfortable but he subconsciously asked back, “Why is it unnecessary? I will definitely introduce you to my brother in the future.”

“Why?”

Shen Qingdeng looked at him and asked indifferently: “Why do you need to introduce your brother to me?”

His tone was clearly like an ancient well without waves, but it made Chu Muyu stunned for a moment, like a boulder thrown into the sea, causing huge waves.

Before Chu Muyu could react, Shen Qingdeng continued: “I’m just one of your ordinary classmates, there’s no need to meet your brother.”

Chu Muyu opened his mouth and found that he couldn’t refute his words. Immediately afterwards, a burst of anger rushed up from his stomach. Chu Muyu glared at Shen Qingdeng fiercely, grabbed his pen back forcibly, and lowered his head to start doing the question.

Shen Qingdeng stared at Chu Muyu’s hair for a while.

The Alpha finally relented, and coaxed in a good voice, “Okay, I was wrong. If you want me to meet your brother, I will meet him. As long as you want it, I will do it.”

Chu Muyu fiercely looked over, obviously the anger in his heart had completely dissipated, but he still wanted to pretend to be angry. As a result, when he saw Shen Qingdeng’s helpless face, a smile appeared at the corner of his mouth, revealing his excited mood.

“Remember what you said today!” Chu Muyu emphasized.

Shen Qingdeng replied, saying that he would never forget it. Seeing Chu Muyu’s mood turning sunny, he sighed quietly in his heart.

What a easy to coax guy.

This afternoon, Chu Muyu had another class. Shen Qingdeng was going to the department to help so the two separated after having lunch together. At four o’clock in the afternoon, Shen Qingdeng received a call from Chu Muyu.

“Qingdeng, you are the one who knows computers best in our department. I heard that you have written small programs yourself, so please help us this time…” The head of the department was talking about something when Shen Qingdeng saw the caller ID and pointed to the phone screen directly interrupting his speech.

“Sorry, excuse me, I need to take a call.”

He didn’t care about the department leader’s awkward expression, got up and walked out of the activity room, and went to the corridor to answer the phone.

Chu Muyu’s side was a little noisy on the phone. It should be the end of class now, and he was calling himself between classes.

The Omega’s voice passed through the handset, a little less refreshing, but still clear.

Chu Muyu was used to pausing in strange places when speaking. His pause was longer than the average person, which made him sound a little dumb. Of course, Shen Qingdeng had never spoken this to Chu Muyu.

“Shen Qingdeng, I’m a little sleepy. I want to skip class and go home to sleep.” Chu Muyu was indeed a little listless, “So you don’t need to look for me after class, I’ve already slipped away.”

Shen Qingdeng was a little surprised. Although he was not a genius student, Chu Muyu was still a good student with good grades and did not like to skip classes. It’s not like him to say that he would skip class and go home to sleep.

Chu Muyu may have also felt a little guilty, and explained a little more: “It’s the first time I’ve been so sleepy. I can’t hold on anymore, so why don’t I just go home earlier, maybe it’s because of the glass of milk I drank in the morning.”

“Okay, I understand.” Shen Qingdeng replied, “You go back first.”

“En.” Chu Muyu responded.

The two then hung up the phone. Shen Qingdeng leaned against the corridor and stood for a moment, then turned back to the activity room.

The members of the department continued to discuss something else while he answered the phone. Seeing him coming back, the department leader’s eyes lit up, and he immediately prepared to tell him what he had not finished.

The department leader was about to speak, but was interrupted again by Shen Qingdeng: “Sorry, I have to leave early.”

Several department members showed some dissatisfied expressions. Fortunately, Shen Qingdeng didn’t care about maintaining interpersonal relationships at all. He finally gave the department leader some face and explained: “My Omega is not feeling well, I want to send him home. If the department leader has any tasks to do, please send me a message. I will go first, see you later.”

As soon as his reason came out, no one could stop him. The members of the department watched him leave with wide eyes, and immediately began to gossip: “When did it happen? Who is his Omega? What grade are they in? What major?”

After accompanying Qin Miao to the hospital, Chu Suiyun and him went for lunch together.

Just when the two finished their meal and got up to leave, Chu Suiyun suddenly received a message.

He took out his mobile phone and saw a sentence that was too blunt and awkward:

“My dear tour guide, I wonder if you are free this weekend? I wonder if I have the honor to invite you to a meal, just to thank you for your hard work during this time?”

The message comes from Levi.

Chu Suiyun stopped unconsciously, and soon fell behind Qin Miao by a lot. Qin Miao noticed, turned around and gave him a questioning look.

Chu Suiyun took two steps quickly, caught up with Qin Miao, and put the phone in front of him: “Look.”

Qin Miao took his phone and glanced at the content of the message. The impatience in his eyes flashed for a moment, and then it changed again to be contemptuous.

“Actually, I was going to take you to meet someone this afternoon.” Qin Miao asked Chu Suiyun, “Levi, as in Richie Maxson, shouldn’t know you recovered your memory right?

“Yes.” Chu Suiyun nodded, “I haven’t contacted him in the past few days after I woke up.”

Chu Suiyun frowned and thought: “I don’t know why he is pestering me, is it for revenge?”

Qin Miao casually flirted and ruffled Chu Suiyun’s hair, and was only honest after a slap on the hand.

He withdrew his hand and said casually: “No matter why that guy came to provoke us, in short, he came first to make a fool of himself. I have endured him too many times, and I don’t want to endure it anymore.”

After speaking, Qin Miao took Chu Suiyun by his shoulders and led the person out: “Come on, I’ll take you to see an old acquaintance.”

Chu Suiyun followed him out. The two walked at the same pace  and soon came to the car.

When the car started, the sound of the engine vibrating slightly allowed Chu Suiyun to concentrate more on his memories, and the memories gradually became clearer.

If it was to deal with Richie – he had the right person in his mind.
