Chapter 43. Girl group start (1)

"A girl group?"

Harin's eyes shook when she heard that. She wondered what Lee Hyun was speaking about and a bad premonition appeared in her heart.

"Yeah, a girl group. You know a group of girls dancing and singing together on the same beat. They have huge fandoms and they are well liked."

"I know about them. I follow G-girls and TWINKLE!"

Both of them were the two most popular girl groups around currently. Lee Hyun nodded his head and continued. 

"Yeah, you would be perfect as the main vocalist of the group."

"Main vocalist?"

Harin thought that the position of the main vocalist was indeed enticing, but she never wanted to join a girl group. 

That's why, she shook her head and said.

"Um, I never thought about joining a girl group. Moreover, I don't know dancing at all."

You not only need to know how to sing, but also how to dance if you want to be the part of a girl group, but Harin never tried dancing and she knew she was bad at it.

"You can just learn dancing. You have plenty of time."

Lee Hyun tried to make her agree. He knows that Harin wanted to debut as a solo singer and after some years, she will probably top the music charts as a solo singer. 

But Lee Hyun was impatient. 

Moreover, he wanted to quickly start his own girl group to compete with Seven stars whose members were still trainees probably. 

"Sorry, I still don't know about-"

"Think carefully. You would be able to debut quickly this way."

Harin stopped speaking when she heard that. Lee Hyun was not the only person who was impatient. Harin was the same.

She quickly wanted to stand on the stage.

Lee Hyun was using that to entice her and make her agree to his proposal. It was working too as her expression was wavering. 

"I'm not forcing you. What I said about wanting to spread your voice across Korea is definitely true. I would surely fulfil it. So, just think about it and give me your honest answer."

Harin gulped hearing that.

Her brain started to work at an incomprehensible speed as she carefully thought about Lee Hyun's proposal. 

When she really thought about it, a girl group didn't seem that bad. Moreover, she has trust in Lee Hyun. 

Harin decided to trust him once again in the end.

"Okay."

"Great!!"

Lee Hyun immediately smiled after Harin agreed. This was truly the first step for his girl group.

He can already imagine the bright future Mango Entertainment would have.

"But who are the other members?"

Harin asked when Lee Hyun was thinking about the future. He came out of his thoughts and licked his lips before speaking. 

"You are the first member and in a week, all the members would be finalised. You can meet them then."

Kim Dongsu and he had already gone through many profiles of singers and dancers that can be a part of their girl group.

In the end, they have finalised three people other than Harin.

They were all very peculiar with different personalities, but they were skilled and Lee Hyun thought that they were the perfect members for the girl group. 

'I hope I won't have any trouble recruiting them.'

Lee Hyun thought and wished in his heart. 

After that, Harin quickly signed through the contract. Lee Hyun told her to read through it carefully, but she just said that she trusts him.

That's how Ya Harin became the first trainee of Mango Entertainment.

The producer of a music show called 'K-pop live' slightly bowed his head towards the woman standing in front of him.

She was wearing a green dress that was neither too short nor it was too tall. It was displaying beautiful long legs and a bit of makeup on her face was enough for people to get flustered.

She was Lee Hyerin!

"Thank you for having me here."

Lee Hyerin said in an elegant manner. The nervous and worried woman was nowhere to be seen and her current attitude was of a successful celebrity.

In the past month, she has quickly transformed to her former self when she was an idol. 

Her song has topped the charts and after appearing on a couple entertainment shows, her popularity has increased. 

Even the producer of the show has to talk with her in a respectful tone. 

"Miss Hyerin, if you have time, why don't we have dinner together? I would be producing a new show soon and I wanted you to-"

"Talk to my manager about it!"

'Huh?"

The producer looked in disbelief as Lee Hyerin cut off his words.

Several celebrities would not miss such a chance, but Lee Hyerin refused without thinking anything. 

"Let's work together again then."

While saying that, she started walking past the producer. 

'I need to reach home soon.'

Lee Hyerin didn't have much time on her hand. Everyday she has lots of work and after that, she needs to reach her home soon to spend time with her daughter. 

She just doesn't have time to have dinner with someone. It was also one thing that she can easily see through the hidden intentions of the producer. 

"You sure have it hard."

Her manager said when she entered the van.

"Yeah, I wish I can just take a break."

Lee Hyerin grumbled and sloped down on her seat. Tiredness overlapped her body and she felt like someone had put a heavy weight on her.

"You wanted to work more before, but now, you want a break."

"I just want to spend some with my daughter."

"I know that, but you are rejecting several men's proposals because of that."

Her manager laughed and started the van. Lee Hyerin looked outside the window and opened her lips.

"It's just that I don't like a guy currently."

"Really?"

"Yes, do you think I'm lying?"

"Well, who knows."

Her manager smiled mischievously and turned her head away to focus on driving. 

'I really don't like someone.'

Lee Hyerin thought, but suddenly the face of a person appeared in her mind. He has helped her a lot and despite his age, he acted really mature.

Lee Hyerin's face suddenly flushed when she thought all that.

'It's not that, right?'

She thought, but was not able to get that thought out of her mind. In the end, she just shook her head and brought out her phone.

"He won't reject me again, right?"

She muttered and looked at a particular number on her phone. After thinking about it for a few minutes, Lee Hyerin finally sent a message on that number.
