Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Orphan

Liam wasn't born in a normal home or in any safe place he could remember.

He only woke up to hear his mother screaming as multiple men came and started assaulting her to which he was only young and couldn't do anything but watch as his mother was slowly being ganged up by multiple men.

And, this was just a normal occurrence to the young boy who always tried to defend his mother but it always ended up for him being beaten up and left near death's grace whenever he tried to stand up.

Even by then, by the time he was five years old, his mother committed suicide and could only watch as those men who toyed with her just scowls at how just lost one of their playings to which Liam could only glare at how they just laugh it off, saying that his own mother was just a toy for them to play with.

Yet, he could only hold his anger as he knew that he couldn't do anything to them and decided to find an opportunity to get back at those guys. He was too weak and his thinking was way ahead of children of his age, he decided that he needs to grow up quickly and find a way to take his revenge on those that killed his only parent.

From then on, he began to look for ways that he could get revenge on those bastards who cause pain for his mother. His thinking expanded and his maturity grew faster than the kids his age, finding ways he could get back at the men who took his only family member.

Yet, something had happened when he was 8 years old.

A man stood there, his skills with blade and guns. Took down not only the men who toyed with his mother but also the man responsible for those men.

It surprises Liam as a kid who didn't believe in heroes, to see the man easily taking down an army by himself.

'Hero' was the first thought that occurred on his head as he wanted to know how this man easily take down those men.

"Kid, just live a normal life and forget everything that happened here." 

Wade pointed at the bodies littered everywhere as he didn't want to trouble himself with a kid. He always find kids like Liam who also lost their families and thought that he shouldn't bother himself with these kinds of orphaned children. 

He only finds Liam surprising since this kid was quite mature and had held his grudge for so long. Most kids who were put into this situation would act angry at Wade for killing their parent's killers when they should be the ones to do so. Others would feel thankful for him to off them and release their grudges.

Yet there were unique cases like him who just stares at those perpetrators and ask to train them to be as strong as him. Which he mostly rejects.

'I don't like taking care of brats.' Wade who might have had a terrible childhood in his life, feel like he wanted to take care of those who had similar experiences as him. Yet, the world is wide and he doesn't feel like taking care of kids just because he feels pity for them.

"Listen here. I don't take disciples kid. I'm only here for the money and nothing else."

Wade had made it clear to the kid since it was just a hassle for him taking care of brats. Yet, Liam just stares at him for a long while before talking back.

"Mister. I want to be strong like you and willing to do everything to get it."

Liam knew that he can start up a new life if he forgot his past yet there was a lingering fear inside him that made his body crawl and knew that he can't easily forget this ever happen, especially what had happened to his mother.

Wade just stares at this kid who has some spunk in him and just smiles, tossing a knife at Liam's hands and pointing at one of the 'corpses'.

"If you have some hesitation brat, then ki-" Right as Wade continues speaking, Liam walks towards one of the 'corpses' that seem to be moving as he raises that person's head and slit at his throat, ending that poor man's life quite easily.

"Mister. I'm am not scared." Liam with his gaze focus on Wade, wipe the blood off the blade using the man's clothing as he toss the knife at another person as he screamed before succumbing to the knife's edge. Wade took a surprising look at Liam as he felt like this kid's skills aren't bad yet the eyes the kid gave off felt like he was used to this kind of thing.

"I watched these men killed, raped, and even toy their victims and always look for ways to get an opportunity to kill them by my own hands. I have nothing left for me Mister and only ask you to help me get stronger." Liam's life was always observing ways to get his revenge. It took him 3 years to learn everything from how these guys operate to even knowing their hidden secrets. While he had gathered enough for these guys to be locked in prison for a long time. He knew that these guys aren't ordinary since they could do everything they want and could get away from it and felt like it would be useless if he couldn't handle it by himself.

That was why if it this person....

"Mister. Make me strong. I won't stand for no." With a resolution on his face, Liam decided to bet everything to this man since he felt like he could trust this person purely by his instincts alone. To which he believe that this man would help him get strong.

"..... Alright kid. I don't like pushy brats that don't say no but I'll be giving you a series of tests that are so hard that you wish you would regret this." Wade feels like that this kid is resolute and even if he rejected him, he feels like this kid would continue to bother him. He could just ignore this kid and head back home if he wanted to but in his gut, something tells him that something scary would happen if he ignore this kid, to which he decides to play with this kid and leave after he was done.

This was their first meeting, surrounded by corpses, these two slowly began to form a bond to which both of them became close with each other.
