Chapter 4: Rescue

Denji is standing in front of a paralyzed Power. Danji has a little chainsaw coming out of his head. There's a cat in a cage next to Power. The Leech Devil is looming over the two.

"And after I finally found him..." The Leach Devil says. "It's you, right? The one who killed Batty. He was my man, y'know?!" She brings her head down. "Oh... but you're actually pretty cute yourself. You're my type, so I'll let you go!"

"What about them?" Denji asks about Powers and the cat.

The Leech Devil smiles. "They die."

"Now, now, now." Io's voice is heard from down the road. "No need to get hasty." 

Denji, Power and the Leech Devil look down the road to see Io taking his dress coat off and tossing it to the side. Blood covers Io's mouth and he has a big smile, showing off his large canine teeth.

"Io." Denji calls out.

The Leech Devil growls. "It's the one that injured Batty."

"So you're the bitch that Battsy mentioned." Io looks the Leech Devil up and down. "Gotta say your damn ugly."

The Leech Devil yells in anger and sends a blast of compressed air at Io. He just tilts his head to the side as the blast flies past him.

Io chuckles. "Denji, I recommend you and Powers move a little bit away."

"Huh?" Denji questions Io.
