The three went downstairs together.

Outside parked the black sedan that hit Su Qiong yesterday. Xiao Zhang quickly walked in front to open the door.

Su Qiong looked a bit embarrassed and said, “Can we walk instead?”

Lin Fu asked, “Why?”

Su Qiong stood two meters away from the car cautiously as if he were afraid of polluting the car and said, “Such a luxurious car, if I sit in it, it’s bound to break.”

Lin Fu smiled in disbelief for a moment, “That’s impossible.”

True materialists are fearless! (T/N: Not for long~)

“It’s true, I have horrible luck. Anything valuable I touch it will break.” Su Qiong still insisted, “We only walk for ten minutes to get there, it’s very close.”

Lin Fu didn’t want to argue about this boring problem anymore. With a calm face, he resolutely said, “Get on.”

Su Qiong did not dare to make him angry, so he got into the car depressingly and tucked in his limbs, looking as if he was trying to reduce the contact area between his body and the car seat.

The car started to move.

“Look, it’s not broken.” Lin Fu’s tone was gentle.

Su Qiong blinked and looked at him sadly.

Lin Fu tried to get rid of Su Poor’s inexplicable superstition and said, “You think precious things will be broken when you touch them, but there is no basis for that belief…”

Before he had finished speaking, with a thud, there was smoke coming out from under the car’s hood.

Su Qiong pursed his lips and apologetically said, “The engine seems to have overheated.”

Lin Fu: …….

Su Qiong quickly opened the door and got out of the car. Standing three meters away, he pulled the wrinkled hem of his down jacket and said, “I’d better get out of the car, or it will explode later.”

Lin Fu: …….

“Find a way to fix the car.” Lin Fu told Xiao Zhang, who was stunned. Then he got off the car with his overcoat and walked over to Su Qiong.

Su Qiong bit his lips in distress and said, “I’m sorry I broke your car.”

Lin Fu, a firm materialist, shook his head with a comforting smile and said, “It has nothing to do with you, it’s just a coincidence.”

Su Qiong drooped his head, “It’s all my fault. It was all because of my wishful thinking…”

Lin Fu looked down at Su Qiong. His pitch-black (T/N: the raws said crow black but I thought it was distasteful so I changed it) hair disorderly covered on his fair and soft nape, tempting others to touch it.

“Let’s walk over there.” Lin Fu rubbed Su Qiong’s hair and swung his coat over his shoulder.

“You lead the way.”

“Ah… Okay. ” Su Qiong whose hair was rubbed was stunned.

Lin Fu pretended to look at the hand he had just touched Su Qiong with and joked, “This hand of mine won’t break right?”

“No, it only works on inanimate objects,” Su Qiong explained earnestly.

“……” Lin Fu shut his mouth in silence.

Ten minutes later, Lin Fu, who was dressed in a western outfit and leather shoes, bent his two big long legs and sat on the bright green plastic chair. While wearing disposable gloves, he tore off an oily duck leg, putting it on a disposable foam dish to give to Su Qiong and softly said “Eat.”

“Thank you.” Su Qiong held the dish with both hands like it was something precious and took a big bite out of the duck leg. He contentedly chewed with his black eyes glowing, looking like a little hamster hoarding its food.

Lin Fu glanced at him then continued to concentrate on the roast duck in his hand, taking a piece of meat and covering it in the sauce before rolling it up with a thin pancake. Putting it on Su Qiong’s foam plate, he said “Eat slower, there’s more if it’s not enough.”

“Okay.” Su Qiong continued to chew as he answered vaguely, and then quickly lowered his head.

“What’s the matter with you?” Lin Fu frowned, took off the disposable gloves and held Su Qiong’s chin to make him look up.

That extremely pitiful little face was covered with tears, his lips were covered in sparkling bright oil and his puffy cheeks were still moving, eyes full of tears yet he was still smiling.

“The roast duck is so delicious!” Su Qiong gulped down a mouthful of food and said with a tearful smile, “You really are a good man, I am so fortunate.”

“Then eat some more.” President Lin’s heart was so sour he almost cried. He didn’t even realize that Su Qiong’s logic seemed a little strange.

“Okay.” Su Qiong wiped his tears and carefully gnawed on the duck leg, even the tendons weren’t left on the bone.

“……” Lin Fu felt that his heart was almost broken along with this duck bone.
