Su Qiong laid motionless in bed for a while. In the winter, the quilt is freezing cold. Su Qiong couldn’t take the cold anymore, so he carefully sat up and squatted down in front of the electric heater.
“How good would it be if I could turn on the heater.” Su Qiong daydreamed for while, but after considering the cost of water and electricity for this month, he decided to give up the idea of turning on the electric heater and watched it for a while as he shivered, hoping for the best.
It really is too cold to sleep.
“Who told me to be the Poor God?” Su Qiong smiled bitterly and sighed. He took the key and went downstairs to run in circles.
After a few laps of running, when his body warmed up, he went back to get into bed quickly. While going home with the warmth of his body heat, he decided to use the last of his savings to buy a bag of milk from the convenience store across the street. I will drink it tomorrow morning, Su Qiong thought.
Just as Su Qiong was crossing the street, a black car suddenly turned from the corner. Su Qiong didn’t pay attention to the car and couldn’t dodge. He was hit by the car on the right and his whole body flew, rolling around as he landed on the road.
“Are you okay?” A man came down from the car quickly, helped Su Qiong up and asked anxiously.
“I seem to be okay…” Su Qiong agilely moved his arms and legs and found that there was no problem at all. So Su Qiong comforted the other party by saying, “Don’t worry, I’m fine.”
“I’m really sorry.” Seeing that nothing big happened to Su Qiong, the man let out a little sigh of relief and said, “Let me take you to the hospital for an examination.”
Su Qiong didn’t even bother to look at him. He squatted down to look for the money that flew out when he had been hit. He said casually, “No, I’m really okay, and you’re not completely at fault. I didn’t look at the car just now.”
The man was silent for a moment and insisted, “You had just flown so far away, you couldn’t have escaped without any injuries.”
Su Qiong stuck out his buttocks to get the fifty-cent coin from under a car parked on the side of the road. “I really am not hurt,” he insisted. “You can go.”
No matter how big or small, he’s still a God.
