Chen Qizhao stared at the foam of beer in the wine glass. He thought that if he really drank until his stomach bled in this life, Zhang Yazhi might cry and scold him. Chen Jianhong would only maintain a straight face and it was estimated that he would quarrel with Chen Shiming again.

However, the result was better. It was estimated that people would watch over him when he was hospitalized.

He was thinking about this when he suddenly remembered the steady hand holding the knife in the hospital and Shen Yuhuai’s calm side profile appeared in his mind.

At this time, someone asked him, “After drinking, do you want to go to the clubhouse to play and call a few people to accompany us?”

“Okay.” Cheng Rong looked down at his phone. “Let’s wait a bit. Linzai said he is almost here. We should wait for him.”

Another person said, “He has been almost here for a long time. How long has it been? When is he getting here?”

Cheng Rong showed the chat record to the others. “There is no way. He was coming from at least 40 minutes away and wasn’t able to get away before. The message was sent to me less than 15 minutes ago, saying that he is almost here.”

Chen Qizhao originally wanted to leave. Then he heard that Yan Kailin was coming and stopped again. “Where did he come from?”

“It seems to be the west side. I will ask.” Not long after Cheng Rong sent a message, he saw the reply from Yan Kailin. “F*k, he said that Shen Yuhuai is sending him over.”

Chen Qizhao looked at Cheng Rong with slightly deep eyes and there was a bit of uncertainty in his tone. “Shen Yuhuai?”

Liu Kai sobered up. “F*k? Shen Yuhuai is coming over? Is there a mistake? Why is he coming to us?”

Chen Qizhao’s hand holding the wine glass loosened a bit. “Where is he?”

“He’s coming soon. He said he just arrived at Kaixuan Road.” Cheng Rong finished speaking and saw Yan Kailin’s message. “He’s arrived.”

Liu Kai opened his mouth. “Shen Yuhuai just sent him over. He shouldn’t come in, right?”

Chen Qizhao’s eyes froze.

Outside the bar, Shen Yuhuai’s car entered the parking lot.

Yan Kailin opened the door and got out of the car. He glimpsed Shen Yuhuai sitting in the driver’s seat and wanted to thank him. He saw Shen Yuhuai get out of the driver’s seat and lock the door in front of him.

In the dim night, Shen Yuhuai glanced at his phone and placed it in his pocket.

The slightly narrow eyes under the glasses looked at Yan Kailin. “You aren’t going? Isn’t it a celebration party?”

Yan Kailin was stuck. “Y… Yes.”

Shen Yuhuai was wearing casual, regular clothing and it was incompatible with the flamboyant men and women who went in and out of the bar. Yan Kailin followed behind him and cold water was poured on the excitement in his brain. His walking pace was a bit slower. The moment he entered the bar and heard the deafening rock sound, he couldn’t help glancing at Shen Yuhuai again. The latter’s expression didn’t change and he looked no different from usual.

Yan Kailin was thinking about this when he noticed that Shen Yuhuai’s gaze was already looking toward the booth where they usually sat.

These people liked to drink and be lively. They didn’t like to go to private rooms and usually liked to sit in the hall. In addition, Liu Kai was familiar with the boss and the booths with the best viewing spots had been reserved for him. It was easy to notice them.

Shen Yuhuai’s gaze directly passed through the crowd and saw Chen Qizhao.

Compared to his peers who were dressed in fancy clothing, Chen Qizhao’s clothes were relatively simple and he sat in the group obediently until their eyes met.

The group of young people in the booth were still discussing Shen Yuhuai.

Chen Qizhao didn’t move but his eyes kept paying attention to the door of the bar. Therefore, he saw it instantly when Shen Yuhuai stepped in.

Once Yan Kailin arrived, the young men who had been talking freely immediately restrained themselves when they saw Shen Yuhuai. Cheng Rong stood up in a slightly embarrassed manner and gave way to the other person. “Brother Huai, are you here?”

Chen Qizhao noticed his gaze and called out ‘Brother Huai’ along with the others.

“Yes.” Shen Yuhuai looked away and his tone was as usual. “You guys can act freely.”

Cheng Rong sighed with relief. “Brother Huai, what do you want to drink?”

Shen Yuhuai walked to Chen Qizhao’s side and sat down. He faced Cheng Rong’s question and just said, “Beer is fine.”

Shen Yuhuai sat down and he heard a voice next to him.

Chen Qizhao asked, “Brother Huai, why did you come here?”

“I heard it was a celebration party.” Shen Yuhuai’s eyes lingered for a moment on the full glass of beer in front of Chen Qizhao. “Congratulations. I didn’t bring any gifts to celebrate.”

“It’s okay… there is no need to bring gifts.” Chen Qizhao lowered his head slightly. The mind smell of the person next to him was particularly clear and it made the strong smell of alcohol on his body even more obvious.

Shen Yuhuai didn’t like to drink. Chen Qizhao remembered that every time he went out to eat with Shen Yuhuai previously, there was never a glass of wine on his table. Just think back to the Lin family’s charity gala not long ago. When clinking glasses with him, Shen Yuhuai just took another sip and never drank the wine again.

Speaking of celebrating, Chen Qizhao suddenly recalled that before Shen Yuhuai had an accident in the previous life, he once went to his house to celebrate his birthday.

Apart from the old-fashioned surface birthday celebrations at the company, Chen Qizhao never deliberately remembered his birthday. Therefore, he was surprised when he got off work that day and saw Shen Yuhuai’s figure at the company.

The man sat on the sofa of the reception desk with a small cake on the table and quietly looked at his phone.

That day, he worked overtime until 9 o’clock in the evening. According to the girl at the front desk, Shen Yuhuai arrived at 6 o’clock in the evening. He waited for Chen Qizhao for three hours and never called to tell him.

It was the second year after he met Shen Yuhuai. He was 24 years old and Shen Yuhuai was 28 years old.

He told them to be casual but the group was still a bit more restrained after Shen Yuhuai came over.

Cheng Rong had been giving Yan Kailin a look and also bombarding him on VX about why he brought Shen Yuhuai over.

Yan Kailin wanted to cry. He hadn’t thought about it. He just wanted to take a convenient car. However, Shen Yuhuai’s relationship with his Brother Zhao wasn’t bad and it wasn’t a problem for him to enter this type of celebration party.

Then the restraint soon disappeared. Shen Yuhuai didn’t say much after he came. The young men were already naturally drunk and didn’t think too much about it. They just continued to play. Cheng Rong tried hard to heat up the atmosphere. He just wanted to pour some wine for Chen Qizhao but he found that the latter’s wine glass was still full.

“Xiao Zhao?” Cheng Rong asked.

Chen Qizhao didn’t speak. He glanced at the wine glass next to him and saw that Shen Yuhuai hadn’t touched his glass.

Yan Kailin had just drunk a few cups when he saw this. “Brother Zhao is drunk?”

“Yes, Xiao Zhao, how many cups did he drink?” Liu Kai urged from the side.

Chen Qizhao didn’t move. Yan Kailin noticed Chen Qizhao’s slightly unnatural performance. In the past, his brother could drink very well and wasn’t as quiet as tonight. He threw a condemning gaze toward Cheng Rong and the others and stood up to stop the wine for Chen Qizhao. “My brother might be drunk. Don’t make him drink too much.”

Shen Yuhuai looked sideways. His eyes moved from the side of the white neck to the occasional sliding Adam’s apple and finally stopping on the side of his face.

He had obviously undergone military training not long ago. Under the light, Chen Qizhao’s bare skin was cold and white. It seemed that he wasn’t affected. Chen Qizhao liked to wear dark clothes. He sat in the booth in dark clothes and his appearance looked even smaller than the people around him.

He withdrew his gaze and saw that it was already past 12 o’clock on his watch.

Chen Qizhao was particularly sensitive and he noticed that Shen Yuhuai had looked at him several times.

“Are you uncomfortable?” Shen Yuhuai asked suddenly.

Chen Qizhao’s eyes stopped on the wine glass in front of him and he didn’t dare to look at this person. “Maybe I am drunk and a bit dizzy.”

“Should I send you back?” Shen Yuhuai asked.

Chen Qizhao slowed down for half a beat and answered with a yes.

Everyone had seen Chen Qizhao’s strange behavior in the second half. Therefore, people didn’t stop it when Shen Yuhuai wanted to send him home. To be honest, they did want to stop it. It was only past midnight and it was good to go to another venue. However, how could they say this to Shen Yuhuai? They couldn’t say that they wanted to take the drunk Chen Qizhao to play somewhere else.

“Can you go?” Shen Yuhuai asked?

Chen Qizhao nodded but just as he stood up, Shen Yuhuai still reached out and supported him.

“By the way, Brother Huai.” Yan Kailin suddenly thought of something. “Don’t send Brother Zhao open. Just open a room for him to live in. It isn’t suitable for him to go home after drinking like this.” In the past, Chen Qizhao didn’t drink so it was fine to go home. However, if he went home like this and bumped into Chen Shiming, there might be another argument.

Shen Yuhuai asked, “What about you?”

Yan Kailin hesitated before replying, “I will drink for a while before leaving. I promise to be home before 2 o’clock!”

The cold wind outside the bar was extraordinarily strong. Chen Qizhao came out of the bar and was blown by the oncoming cold wind. He couldn’t help trembling. Forget being drunk, his mind was very clear now. All night, he had been teasing others to drink. How could he get drunk?

Yet in the environment just now, drunkenness seemed to be a better excuse.

“Should I send you home?”

Chen Qizhao was silent.

Shen Yuhuai’s hand was on Chen Qizhao’s waist. The waist within his arms was thin and slender.

He tilted his head slightly and noticed Chen Qizhao’s silence.

The two of them arrived quickly at the parking lot. Chen Qizhao simply pretended to be drunk but didn’t dare to lean too much on Shen Yuhuai. In particular, the smell of mint on Shen Yuhuai’s body always made him inexplicably uncomfortable.

His back was sweating a lot as he got into the car. He pretended to close his eyes and listened as his door closed and the door next to him opened.

Shen Yuhuai got into the driver’s seat.

Chen Qizhao was thinking wildly in his mind when he felt someone leaning over from next to him, finally stopping in front of him. Cold hands grazed the back of his hand and finally stopped on the seat belt next to him.

Chen Qizhao instinctively held his breath.

However, Shen Yuhuai didn’t move. His hand seemed to still be resting on the seat belt.

The smell of mint stopped strongly in front of him. Chen Qizhao couldn’t hold back and opened his eyes. He looked up and met the deep eyes in front of him. It was as if he could see his own face in the other person’s eyes.

After a moment of being in a daze, the sound of the seat belt being buckled was heard in the quiet car.

Shen Yuhuai’s voice clearly entered his ears and his laughing voice overlapped with his deep eyes.

“Chen Qizhao, did you block me from your Moments?”
