I’m Not Sick! Everything I Said Is True! (1)
Liang Yuanqing wanted to call the police, but he was stopped by Old Master Wen.
“Yuanqing, don’t be impulsive. There might be some misunderstanding.”
Since his father-in-law had spoken, no matter how unwilling he was, Liang Yuanqing could only stop calling the police first. Originally, he planned to find a crime to crucify those two people. Now that Jiang Yue had already died and could no longer testify, things were easy to handle.
It was a pity that his father-in-law was not on the same page.
Hearing Liang Yuanqing blame them, Jiang Xiumei choked with anger and almost went out of breath.
When Jiang Yue was alive, she was the apple of her eye. After her death, she was the thorn in her heart. Usually, you couldn’t even mention her name in front of Jiang Xiumei. Now, he was even splashing dirty water on her name; Jiang Xiumei was incredibly angry inside.
She gasped and stared at Liang Yuanqing, gritting her teeth as she said, “I know my daughter. She has never done anything bad ever since she was a child. She is a good kid, she would never do such a thing!”
Liang Yuanqing also sneered. “Who knows? Of course any mother would believe that their child is in the right. Whether she is guilty or not is not up to you.”
“You—” Jiang Xiumei rolled up her sleeves by force of habit, but before she could move, she was stopped by Jiang Xing.
His mother was impulsive, so Jiang Xing had to take care of her.
“Liang Yuanqing, you can’t differentiate the good from the bad, don’t dump it all on our heads! My sister is… My sister brought Xiaoman back, and she loved her like her own daughter and never treated her badly. If she kidnapped the child, if she stole her, how could we have loved her so much?”
“If she didn’t steal or kidnap the child, then why did Jiang Yue take the child away? It’s really funny, do you think we are all three-year-olds?”
Liang Yuanqing turned around and looked at Old Master Wen, “Dad, say something. We can’t suffer this injustice for nothing! Think about how much you miss your grandchild all these years! This is all because of Jiang Yue, hurry up and do something.”
Old Master Wen fell into thought, but didn’t say anything. He looked downwards and pondered.
The room was quiet for a moment. Jiang Xing wiped his face, and continued to bicker with Liang Yuanqing. “Hey, surnamed Liang! According to what you said, you have suspected my sister Jiang Yue for a long time. Then how do you explain the matter when you went after Xiaoman and told people to kidnap her? Maybe you already knew that Xiaoman was your child, but you still didn’t acknowledge her and take her home. What were you thinking in your heart? You’ve met Xiaoman long ago and recognized her. If you loved your child and missed them so much, then why didn’t you acknowledge her? Ptooey! What a load of crap!”
Hey, did he think only he knew how to splash dirty water on someone else?
“What!?” Wen Hui stood up, her face changing dramatically.
Everyone in the Wen family looked at Liang Yuanqing with aggressive eyes.
Liang Yuanqing’s legs went a little weak, but he could not back down at this moment. As long as this matter was settled, his life in the future would be smooth sailing.

Liang Yuanqing said, “You are just quibbling!”
“Aren’t you the same?” Jiang Xing sneered, “If you don’t believe me, you can check his case record. Wasn’t he detained for three months? The scar on his face and the injuries on his feet are all evidence. You can also go back to the local police station with me to check; the truth will be revealed.”
Liang Yuanqing was trembling with anger.
This was what he was most afraid of.
His biggest advantage right now was that Jiang Yue was dead and could not testify. Whatever he said, no one could refute it. Even if he lost Wen Hui’s favor because of this, it was nothing much. Wen Hui already looked down on him from the bottom of her heart anyways.
Liang Yuanqing gritted his teeth fiercely, and just as he was about to continue his sophistry, someone suddenly tugged on his hand.
“Are you tired? Have a drink.” Jiang Xiaoman handed him a cup.
What kind of timing was this? What ‘have a drink’??
Jiang Xing also glared at her, silently saying in his heart that this brat didn’t know gratitude. Was her uncle not tired as well? Why didn’t she give him something to drink? Why did she give it to Liang Yuanqing instead?
Just when Jiang Xing was bubbling with jealousy and felt that Jiang Xiaoman didn’t love him, Liang Yuanqing’s mouth twitched, and then he drank the water that Jiang Xiaoman handed him.
How could he not drink it? He was still playing the part of a good father who was seeking justice for his child.
How could he refuse the child’s goodwill?
After drinking, Liang Yuanqing continued confronting Jiang Xing. “I didn’t know that your sister is Jiang Yue. If I knew, I would definitely be suspicious. Your sister is long gone, how could I have guessed just by seeing Xiaoman? As for the case where I was detained; it was an accident, and the case has been closed. There are witnesses and physical evidence, do you still want to frame me with it?”
“You—” Jiang Xing’s eyes darkened with anger.
At this moment, Jiang Xiaoman who had been silent all this time suddenly spoke up.
Her voice was soft, a contrast with the room that smelled of gunpowder. “Dad, is the truth really like what you just said?”
“Of course not!” Liang Yuanqing saw that Jiang Xing was already running out of ideas, and the Old Master’s face was getting colder. He couldn’t help feeling complacent and wanted to continue talking, but he suddenly realized… What did he just say?
Did he just say no?
How could it be!?
